Narrator's P.O.V

Jay noticed Kai looking at the book

"What are you looking at?" asked Jay with a pissed tune

Kai shook his head in response

"As expected! It's so impossible that Jay will share his book with that ugly poor guy" the students whisper

Well are you in page 4 class? Miss Yumeko ask

"Yes ma'am!" The student answered

Miss yumeko then looked at Kai and Jay

"What about you two back there?" Miss Yumeko ask Kai and Jay

"Well ma'am I dont want to share my book with this ugly poor face!" Jay answered

Miss yumeko sighed "I understand but please show him a little bit more respect" paused Miss Yumeko

"you said earlier that you'll be sharing your book with Kai" Miss Yumeko added

"Ow did I say that? Sorry but I cant remember saying anything like that to you" said Jay as he glared at Kai

Miss yumeko sighed "very well,Kai go back to your sit and I'll grab an extra book at the faculty" Miss Yumeko said as she walked to the door "oh and class behave while I'm gone which will only be a few minutes"

"Miss Yumeko finally went out! What should we do with this bastard?"

One of Jay's squad ask as he looked at Jay

"For now...let him be" Jay replied

Kai's P.O.V:

I can hear all the conversations my classmate are having and unfortunately...it's all about me...I dont get it..why are they talking about me..I dont remember doing anything bad...maybe because I'm poor..?

I though as I looked down at my table

Money is everything....I guess a poor exchange student in a prestigious private university is a bit too much...

No!! I shoke my head and clenched my fist I have to stay strong! This is a once in a life time opportunity!! Also I cant always be depending on my grandma...I have to find myself a part time job!! I though as I looked at the door to see our teacher walking back

"Ok I'm back class" said Ms.Yumeko as she walks towards the teacher's table

"Kai come here and get your book" she said with a smile

I stood up and started to walk to her but I tripped...

Ugh..that hurt I thought as I grabbed my knee

"O my! Kai are you ok?" Ms.Yumeko asked

"So clumsy" a female student then said

"I know...I mean cant you even walk? Straight"another said

"Stop it class!!" Said Miss Yumeko as she helped me get up "Kai can you walk?" Miss Yumeko asked giving me a concerned look

"I'm fine" I whispered but loud enough for her to hear..I also looked behind me and surprise surprise...the student behind me was giving me the stink eye I guess he was the one who tripped me...I though as I also saw Jay kick my chair..but then I noticed his gold necklace...that looks like the one I have...could it be..?

(Flash back 10 yrs ago)

"Kaizer!" Jay shouted while he ran towards me

"I have a present for you!" Jay said

"But it isn't even my birthday" I replied

"No! It's for us! Just open the box!" he smiled excitedly as he gave me the box he was holding

"Ok" I replied

As I open the box I saw a silver necklace which was a yang symbol

"Pretty cool isn't it?" Grinned Jay as he showed another necklace to which was the yin symbol but his was gold "it's our friendship necklace! Your yang and I'm Yin! and comebined means balance!" He continued

"We're gonna be best-friend forever right!!" He smiled as he showed me his pinky

I was so overwhelmed with excitement that I immediately put my necklace on

"Mn!"I nodded as I held my pinky out as well

"That's a promise then!!" Jay said we both made a pinky promise
