2 Escape

Du Chi and Fe Dui turned to look at each other in surprise.

"It turns out he really cares about you!", Fe Dui smiled at Fu Len but it was not a sincere smile.

Fu Len was already nine months pregnant and her time for labour was almost due.

"Fe Dung...", Fu Len murmured his name once again and clutched her chest.

At this moment the wall behind them was broken by a powerful source and low and behold, he walked in and this time as his real being.

"Fu Len...", Fe Dung called out her name with a deep dragon voice which was a bit scary.

"Stepbrother...you actually came huh? Unfortunately I broke the secret before you could...", Fe Dui smiled again.

"Fu Len...", Fe Dung's attention was on Fu Len and couldn't even hear what his brother was saying.

Fu Len was staring at him, not with anger or hatred but with love. Even if he was the devil she would still continue to love him forever.

"Fool! Why did you come?", Fu Len came back to her senses and realized her husband might be in danger.

"I couldn't bear to see you and our baby hurt...Fu Len...do you hate me now?", Fe Dung walked gracefully to her place with huge steps.

"No... never...it just hurts that you kept such a secret from me... did you not trust me?", A tear flew down her cheek.

"I trusted you with all my heart...it's just I was scared you wouldn't love me anymore if I told you...ahhh!", Fe Dung couldn't continue his sentence because an arrow had been shot through his huge dragon legs and pure black blood was flowing out.

"Fe Dung!", Fu Len was worried now and scared too.

"Stepbrother...I'm sorry but I was just getting annoyed seeing you getting all lovely-dovey for a mere human! That was not the reason why I wanted you here", Fe Dui placed the arrows down on the ground with a smile.

Fe Dung groaned in pain, his white skin was now covered by black blood.

"Fe Dung...", Fu Len held her tummy in pain.

"Fu Len!", Fe Dung ignored the pain he felt and rushed to Fu Len's side, it was just he couldn't enter the dungeon. Using all his might, he blew a huge fire and used his strength to break the cell, then carried Fu Len onto his back and flew away.

"Damn it! We have to find them now! That child...that child she's carrying is a special child!", Fe Dui scattered everything around him and immediately transformed into his dragon self and called on his troupes.

"Du Chi...you stay here... Although you're strong you still need to stay here for the safety of our child!", Fe Dui said and flew away immediately.

Fe Dung flew into an old abandoned cottage and lay Fu Len down, her water had already broke.

Fe Dung had a special ability in the scientific field so he knew how to help a woman in labour.

There was no bed around so he removed his clothes and lay them on the floor, then placed her there.

Three hours later...

"Baa...boo...baa...boo...", the sound of a baby could be heard.

Fe Dung cut the umbilical cord with his sharp nails and healed Fu Len's wounds with his powers.

"It's a baby girl...", Fe Dung smiled sweetly and kissed the baby's forehead before handing her over to Fu Len.

"Skin which is much more whiter than snow, very pale and soft...with jelly black hair!", Fu Len couldn't help smiling at the baby.

Fu Len was happy that her baby didn't turn out like those two wicked people had said, this baby looked just like a normal human being apart from the fact that her skin was whiter than snow, her eyeballs were white and there was

"something" in her hair.

"Fe Dung...our baby looks normal apart from her weird white skin and white eyeballs...she's just like a normal human baby!", Fu Len smiled happily.

"If she looked like me... would... would... you hate her?", Fe Dung asked bitterly.

Fu Len understood what he meant, " I would still love her... besides I think the white skin and eyes are coming from you right? And so are the white strands!"

"Fu Len I have to take you and the baby away...Fe Dui might find us anytime soon!", Fe Dung sat up and carried her and the baby onto his back.

"What about you? Will you be fine?", Fu Len asked worriedly.

"One of us will die tonight! If I survive I'll come to see you but if I don't then it means...",Fe Dung didn't end his sentence but Fu Len understood what he meant.

Fe Dung left Fu Len away in a huge building where she could rest but Fu Len was not feeling comfortable, she kept having the feeling that something would happen to her and her baby.

It was past midnight and Fe Dung was not back yet, Fu Len was scared that...

At this moment she heard footsteps and right in front of her was Du Chi.

"You...", Fu Len trembled and moved back.

"Do you know what happened to your brave husband? He's dead!", Du Chi laughed.

"No! Impossible...this is not true! He couldn't have died, he's an immortal!", Fu Len shook her head vigorously refusing to believe what she just heard.

"Then why is he not back yet? Are you trying to tell me you believe they're fighting till now? My husband is one of the best archers."

"Fe Dung...", Fu Len's eyes turned teary and the tears burst out in no time.

"Guess the reason for me being here? I'm here to get rid of you and the cursed child of yours!", Du Chi grinned as she spoke.

"No!"

Fu Len run to the window, right behind the building was a huge sea.

Why did Fe Dung bring her here? Did he think they wouldn't find her? Now there was no place for escape.

"Tsk...tsk... thinking of escaping? Not a chance!", Du Chi smirked and took a step forward.

At this moment Fu Len took in a deep breath, held her daughter tightly and jumped right into the sea.

Fu Len was not a good swimmer, it didn't take long before she started to drown.

'Fe Dung is this how our love story was meant to end? Even with our baby? Anyways I'm very happy to have experienced this love with you', Fu Len closed her eyes with a sweet smile as she continued to drown.
