3 A Promise

Then I get up from this bed and look at the bed, then press the bed with my hand.

"This is soft," I smile and look around the room. This room has a good smell, and I look at a picture.

In the picture, there was a middle-aged man and a woman. The woman was holding a boy around 5 years old in her arms. This boy had white hair and black eyes like obsidian. The boy was smiling and had his arms around the woman's neck.

I don't know why, but looking at the picture, tears run down my eyes. I understand that in the photo, a man and woman were the parents of that boy, and that boy was me.

I sighed and wiped the tears from my eyes, and I came near the photo and kneeled in front of it.

"Mother and father of Devin, I'm... well I don't have name but I took over you son body I'm sorry for that, and you might not believe me, but an incident happened and your son committed suicide, so even I don't take over his body he would die, so I'm saying... that... me taking over his body is good thing... and... I know a way to revive you two and I try find a way to revive your son as well... so I will use your son body for a while and don't worry, I will also find older sister, she is fine, so dont worry much and just wait, I reunite your family and that is promise."

I stayed on my knees for a long time, and, taking one more look at the photo, I got up and went inside the shower. I opened the shower, and hot water fell on me, and I shivered there.

"Ahh...what water," I moan in pleasure. This water was so good. I didn't want to get out of the shower, but I had to, even though I knew in Academy that only bad days were waiting for me. I had to go there since not going on time was a saying that I'm not respecting the Academy and it's a big crime.

The book I read had seven parts, and the first part is Harmony Academy, where the book started and where the protagonist's journey started with most of the main cast.

I look at the academy uniforms, and it's plain white and a symbol of the Academy near the heart area.

I wore it and felt its smooth texture. It was so good, I had never worn such clothing before. I smiled.

Then I looked around and thought, this room is excellent; with a happy smile, I turned to the photo, "I'm going to the academy."

I left the room and saw another door in front of mine, and on the left side, there were stairs. I walked down the stairs and then smelled something I had never smelled; this smell intoxicated and attracted me.

I walked to the smell and arrived in the kitchen. I saw a woman around 30 years old, plating all the food on the table. This woman was so beautiful that I had never seen her before. Her green hair tied in a bun, fair skin that looked smooth, and a mature face with red lips enhanced her beauty that I couldn't take my eyes off.

"Devin, you're ready for the Academy. Come here and eat breakfast before going," The woman called me gently, her voice smooth in ears. I'm stunned momentarily before nodding my head and sitting on the chair.

I remember this woman was the mother of Devin, supposed to be fiancée, this woman's name was Evelyn Uruys, and from the memories, I remember Evelyn took Devin to her house after Devin's parents' death.

She cared for Devin like he was her own son, and she also helped him to make things right with her daughter. She was still willing to help all she could to make Devin and her daughter marry.
