4 The Girlfriend

"You said what!", I'm about to blow my top. "Why the hell would you tell someone that you have a girlfriend when one you don't and two dating is strictly prohibited?", " Well you see this is what happened."

V explained that during the dinner they sat with TXT one of the newer groups that the company made and one of the members was teasing Jin for being the oldest yet still not being able to date saying "You'll die of old age before you get married." Making Jin get defensive and lie that he did have a girlfriend but he had to keep it hidden due to the companies rule of no dating while in the group.

"Great guys how the heck do we fix this? If we tell them the truth you will be seen as a lier and they'll tease you even more but if you continue with it and the company finds out you'll be dead." "Well actually because we have been in the band for over five years our dating ban is up so we don't have to worry about that." Jung-kook informed me, "So what then do we just say that know one knows who she is? But won't that make them question you?" "Actually, that wasn't the end of the story..." Jimin trailed off.

"What do you mean not the end of the story?" I said through gritted teeth " So basically they didn't believe him and asked who she was and Jin panicked and said..." Jimin hesitated "Said What Jimin be a man and tell me!" I am at my wits end hear people!!! "I said I was dating you." Jin finally piped up himself. "...."

Imma kill him, he's dead *goes to attack him* "Easy there." Suga said while him and RM grabbed me. "I'm sorry okay, I panicked." Jin said trying to appease me "Oh I'll show you panic!" *tries to go for him again "seriously why did you drag me into it?" "You were the only girl that came to mind." He said quietly while blushing. *sighs heavily while trying to calm down.* "Fine what are we going to do then, hm?"

"Well since TXT know so will the rest of the company at this rate meaning the only way to save face is for you to actually date Jin. Well fake date anyway." RM concluded. "Yeah you could "date" for a short amount of time and then break it off so there is no suspicion." J-hope added. Are these guys being for real right now? "What if the media gets a hold of this? What about all the angry fans I'd have to deal with eh?" "We will cross that bridge when we get to it as we don't know how people will react."

This is a joke. an absolute joke, is there anything else I need to go through before I can live in peace? Like seriously I can't. "Fine but no funny business from now on I am your fake girlfriend and will do only what's necessary to keep your secret nothing more got it." "Thank you soo much Claire I really appreciate it." Jin smiles at me. Ughhh what a day.

After taking the boys home I rushed to my place to sleep as I knew there was a lot to come that would drain my energy. Ahhh finally bed sweet bed, we meet again *colapses onto the giant rectangle of pure heaven* "zzzz..."

The next day, 10 am- the company building. "Right so today you have dance practice, vocal practice and lunch here, then an interview in the evening." Not so bad today might be quite easy.

At the end of dance practice the boys were all out of breath lying on the floor. I felt bad so went to get them more water and on my way back I bumped into some guy " Oh sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." I was about to walk away when he suddenly said "Don't worry about it, hey I've never seen you around before are you new?" "Yeah I started a few days ago this is my first time working in this building." "Ah that explains it well I'll see you around... *looks at my name badge* Claire." "Bye." I say walking off. "Here you go guys." "Water!" They all jump to their feet immediately.

At lunch. As we are all eating and chatting at a table in the buildings canteen a group of boys suddenly approach us. "Well if it isn't Jin, hows your girlfriend?" TXT. It must be considering the look on all the guys faces " Fine, in fact why don't you ask her yourself she's right here." he says putting his hand on mine. Note to self have a serious talk with Jin about boundaries later cause this is just no like get off I don't like people being near me.

"Wait I recognise you, Claire right we met out in the hall earlier." Shit I ran into one of their enemies and didn't even know it, smart. " So Claire, how long have you and Jin been together?" He said smirking clearly not buying that I am Jin's girlfriend "Oh I don't know about three months now." I say clasping my hand with Jin's and rubbing my thumb against the back of his hand, even though I don't like to be near people these guys are really starting to bug me so why not shove it right in their faces and help a friend out right?. They look slightly confused as whether or not to believe the situation but they let it go, say bye and carry on to another table, phew that's over.

I look down and realise he still hasn't let go of my hand and pull mine out as all the members look at us blankly.
