9 The “Day off”

I wake up to my phone going off once again and not by an alarm but by yet another phone call from you guessed it Jimin. Gosh this kid "Yessssss?" I ask sleepily down the phone, "Sorry to bother you again Claire but we need some help." Jimin says worried "Oh with what?" I sit up looking at the time "Well....." "WHAT!?" I shout down the line "What do you mean Jin's been all over the news for having a secret relationship?" "I mean that someone has leaked the news that Jin is dating someone and caught a picture of you and him together in the company." "How is that possible with the amount of security there is?.... wait unless it was a member of staff or an idol." I say cursing the company I bet you $50 it was those TXT kids I hate life. " Ok where are you guys now I will come and we can try to sort something out." I say pacing around my room trying to get myself together.

"We are at the dorm, our manager is on his way over as well he was the one that asked me to phone you as you are also implicated." "Ok I'll be there as soon as I can." I say before we hang up ahhhhhhhh so much for 2 days off.

The dorm - "ok I'm here what's the plan?" I ask the manager "Well we have discussed it and the best option usually is to deny it but since the picture was taken within the company and it is clear that Jin is in a close position with you people won't believe it so easily if we say it was just a friend and we can't exactly say that you are family as you aren't Asian no offence," "None taken. Sooooo what are we doing then?" I ask trying to figure it out myself... "Wait don't tell me, you want us to publicly say we're dating!?" "It's honestly the safest option for now.." " Safe my butt, do you know how many angry fan girls I will need to deal with!? There's no way in hell I'm doing this." Come on I was right to have an outburst at this moment," I know but you will only be together for a few months and then we can say it just didn't work out no hard feelings." "So Claire you are officially, unofficially Jin's girlfriend how does it feel?" J hope teases "Oh please she now has the best boyfriend ever." Jin says proud "I'm so honoured." I say sarcastically joking along with them as we all burst into laughter except Jin who is acting like a king. "But actually he is a great cook and a really caring guy, it wouldn't be bad for someone to actually date him." V says with his arm over Jin's shoulder "Erm okay" i say "Pfffttt" they all start laughing again "Wow Yeonjun was right, talk about having frostbite." Jung kook shivers "What am I supposed to say to that? Yeah you're right,Jin let's date?" They all look at me "Look even if there were feelings between us I have a job to do and so do you, I came here for a fresh start not to get sacked from the best job I've ever had for dating an idol that is out of my league." They look at me seriously and I turn to Jin who looks understanding as he says "Guys she's right though if we were to ever really date the manager would flip a table and might fire her that wouldn't be good." He comes over to me "GROUP HUGGG!!!!!!" J hope shouts as they squeeze me in the centre of their hug "GUYS!!!!!, I can't breathe." "Ha Sorry, not sorry." Suga says while they all let go. What would I do without these idiots I smile to myself. Even though I haven't known them for long we are already this close, it's nice. "Can I go home and sleep now?" I ask hoping for a yes, "Yeah we have a solution for now anyway unless, you want to stay for some food?" Jimin asks. Damn these guys know how to drive a hard bargain food or sleep, sleep or food, what to do?
