All the activities are general and familiar yet there exists a continuous silence which no one tries to break.

By the time she walked out of bathroom, Grace was already asleep. She went downstairs, straight to the hall and as she was expecting this, her mom was still awake, waiting for Albert Reece, her husband.

Ash checked the watch, it showed 11:55 and she secretly sighed.

She moved closer and caught her mom off guard by giving her an enthusiastic hug,"Hey mommy, don't worry too much. Dad's not a kid and tell me, in which forest can one find a charger, I strongly believe his phone ran out.... okay, so stop being a whiny kitten and be my scary...I mean, my brave and energetic mom."

Olivia hugged back her daughter, "Hey, d'you just called me a scary kitten??" she asked in an animated voice. And with that both the

mother and daughter smiled at eachother.

Ash gave her mom a quick kiss on her chubby cheeks and let go of their embrace.

"Good night, mom"

"Good night, honey"

"hey, but i like jam"....

"Jam then, go to bed straight away now" her mother said giving her, I-am-tired-of-your-lameness expression.

Ash giggled and went upstairs straight to her bed.

Before going to bed, she went into the bathroom to brush her hair

"Hey beautiful, why do you look a bit pale tonight, no one's gonna kidnap you baby."

She subconsciously reched for her rose petal coloured lips, 'tempting enough to attract a bite'

'wait, did i just thought BITE, looks like i am really sleepy, i am just gonna turn 11 why will i be committed so soon'

Thinking all this she finished brushing her hair and finally tucked them in a high pony and then made a made a loose pleat which reached her waist.

fixing the blue rubber band she creot in her bed and sooner than she realised she was standing in a dark and damp place...
