Fighting part 1

The rats began charging at me and I readied myself for the fight ahead. The two initial rank 1s got to me first.

CLANG CLANG

Deflecting both their attacks I moved to the side of one and cut its head clean off. Spinning 90 degrees I brought my sword to block the mid rank 1 rat monsters claws.

BANG

Blocking its claws with my sword I felt to force behind its attack. Not enough to knock me back I still had to push back. With a large push I knocked the rat back but the other rat was jumping at me.

Crouching down a lifted Ryou above my head and let the rats momentum push itself along the blade. The rat fell down dead with its stomach sliced open. 'Shit!' The other rat jumped at me again.

CLANG

Once again I parried its claws and pushed it backwards but this time I followed up on it.

SHNK

I stabbed my blade straight into its head killing it instantly. huff huff With the effort used to kill the rats and pain from circulating the Supreme Dragon Seal Exercise I was out of breath, but the fight was nowhere near over and despite circulating the whole time I was only on the 14th circulation.

Looking around I could see everyone else had pretty much finished killing the rat monsters and were waiting for the next wave.

SREEEECH

Hearing the sound I looked ahead and saw a large swarm of rats head our way. Someone shouted "Everyone get ready and pace yourselves it'll be at least a day until help arrives!" Hearing that I stood up straight and readied my sword to fight the five initial rank 1 rats headed my way.

The fight continued like this for about two hours. I reached the 24th circulation half an hour ago but I couldn't push past the wall and create the first seal. The pain caused by the circulation was almost enough to make me blackout but I held on because if I didn't I'd die.

BUZZZ!

We all got a notification on our holowatchs but I was to busy fighting to look. "Shit!, everyone there's a swarm of rats headed our way the rank 5 Hunters are busy with the rank 5 monsters and they let them slip by so get ready to fight!"

Hearing this everyone had a grimm look on their face.

SLICE SHLK

Finishing off the rats I was fighting I took a step back to rest. rumble rumble Feeling the ground shake I knew the rat monsters were here.

BOOM

The earth blew apart in the middle of the cavern and hundreds of rats came spilling out. Seeing three late rank 1 rats heading my way I only had one thought. 'This is about to get ugly.'
