5 Chapter 5
"Are you all okay, let us go in," said Jason.
They went into the fog, there were wolves on both sides of the cliffs and then the rest were two-legged everywhere else, so they turned into humans as well. White Wolf was thinking on what the rouges were saying, he stopped in front of his house and pulled the red pills out of his pocket and stared at them, he thought to himself, "nobody else has to take these." Grey Owl was watching from behind White Wolf, White Wolf did not know his father was watching. So Grey Owl walked towards the side of the house and went through the back door and walked in and watched White Wolf from the window. Grey Owl saw White Wolf's eyes glow red and his fangs started to show again.
"Hey, I think White Wolf let those rouges get under his skin," said Lone Wolf.
"White Wolf are you alright?" asked Victoria.
He put his pills back into his pocket.
"Yes I am fine," said White Wolf with his eye glowing red.
"You let those rouges get under your skin," said Lone Wolf.
"No I did not," said White Wolf.
"Yes you did," said Jesse.
White Wolf turned around and his eyes were glowing red.
"What is the point, they are right, I can not escape what I am," said White Wolf.
"Calm down, take it easy," said Lone Wolf.
"Why should I," said White Wolf.
Grey Owl opens the front door.
"Son inside," said Grey Owl.
So he walks inside and sits down on the couch.
"Take the red pill, you will feel better," said Grey Owl.
"Why?" asked White Wolf.
"Because we want you to protect Kat, not kill her," said Grey Owl.
"Kat, I don't want to hurt her," said White Wolf.
"Good, then take the red pill," said Grey Owl getting ready to fight just in case if it is too late.
So White Wolf took the pill and his eyes went back to a dark red.
"Do you feel better?" asked Grey Owl.
"Yes, I am sorry dad," said White Wolf.
"Do not be sorry, you can not help it, it is part of you," said Grey Owl.
"True, but I need to learn to control it if I am going to protect Kat," said White Wolf.
"Right, the rouges will try anything to get her and turn you against us," said Grey Owl.
"I know, I can't let that happen," said White Wolf.
"Me either, I'm going to hunt now with the others, your mother is out picking berries with the women, so stay out of trouble while I am out hunting?" asked Grey Owl.
"I will," said White Wolf.
Grey Owl left into the woods to hunt with the pack. White Wolf saw his mother coming with the other women carrying baskets of berries.
"Hello mother," said White Wolf.
"Hey did you have a great day today?" asked mother.
"Sort of," said White Wolf helping her carry the berries inside.
"Oh, what is wrong?" asked the mother.
"I let those rouges get under my skin," said White Wolf.
"What, they were here?" asked mother.
"No, not inside, they stopped us from coming in," said White Wolf.
"Are you alright?" asked the mother.
"Yes they took off when dad and Jason showed up," said White Wolf.
"That is good," said the mother.
Back in the woods Jason, Grey Owl and the rest of the pack were hunting when they spotted a deer, they were about to charge when the rouges came and ran after the deer, and it disturbed there hunting, so they went back home.
"Nothing?" asked mother.
The father turned back into a two-legged.
"No the rouges chased our kill," said Grey Owl.
"At least we still have leftovers from the last kill you all did," said the mother.
"This is true," said Grey Owl.
So they went to the table and started eating again. Once they were finished they cleaned up and White Wolf went outside.
"Hey White Wolf do you feel better?" asked Jesse.
"Yes I do," said White Wolf.
They all gathered in a circle and started talking. Jason came out of his house and walked towards the young teens.
"What are you all getting into?" asked Jason.
"How did you know we're planning on leaving for a little bit?" asked Victoria.
"I was just like you all, but be careful, those hunters know we are alive, they will try anything to capture us, that is why we only go out in the daytime, they know we are likely to roam at night and that is when they catch us," said Jason.
"We know dad," said Lone Wolf.
"I will let you all go this one time, but the second time you will stay here where it is safe," said Jason.
"That is okay with us all," said Lone Wolf.
So Jason let them go, they took off running and transformed into wolves. They came to the edge of the and stayed in the woods until they turned human, they stepped out and started walking down the highway towards Kats house. When they saw her home, they saw that she was sitting down on the porch swing with her friends. They heard some noises beside them in the woods, White Wolf started to sniff the air.
"Rouges.
So they quickly walked towards Kat's house.
"Hey Kat," said Lone Wolf.
"Hey guys, what brings you all here?" asked Kat.
"We just came by to see how you are," said Nakuma.
"I am fine thank you," said Kat.
"You do not mind if we have out here for a bit?" asked Jesse.
"No we do not mind, we're just talking about school stuff and the dance," said Aiyana.
"Sweet," said Lone Wolf.
They all go on the porch, they sat down in some chairs and on the steps, White Wolf sat down on the corner rail looking out towards the woods.
"So are you all going to the dance?" asked Awinita.
"Yeah we will be there," said Lone Wolf.
"Cool," said Awinita.
"Why does he sit alone, does he not want to talk with us?" asked Kat.
"White Wolf attends to stay to himself, he prefers it that way, we are still trying to figure him out ourselves," said Lone Wolf.
"So he is a mystery?" asked Kat.
He kept looking into the forest at the glowing red eyes.
"You guys don't mind if my friends here were to take you all home?" asked Lone Wolf.
"Not at all, thank you," said Anakin.
"Great, you two take them home," said Lone Wolf.
So Victoria and Jesse started to walk Kat's friend's home.
"Well it is getting late, you best be going inside now," said Lone Wolf.
"Okay," Kat getting up from the chair and going inside.
She had lots of questions to ask Lone Wolf. White Wolf was still starring at the glowing red eyes. His eyes started glowing red as well.
"How many?" asked Lone Wolf.
There was silence.
"White Wolf," as Lone Wolf's eye started to glow.
"Don't even try it, Lone Wolf," said White Wolf.
"I'm not going to," said Lone Wolf who knew that White Wolf already turned.
"What are you going to do?" asked Lone Wolf.
He jumped off the rail and starred at Lone Wolf with glowing red eyes.
"You can not fight them alone," said Lone Wolf.
"I don't want them to get Kat, she is mine," said White Wolf.
"Do not let her see you transform, go beside the house, there is no window on the side of the house, go there and turn and run into the woods, that way she does not see you," said Lone Wolf.
White Wolf took off to the side of the house and transformed he took off running into the woods. Lone Wolf took off walking on the highway, as did Jesse and Victoria. She quickly ran upstairs and looked out the window, by the time she looked they were already gone.
