29 Opening up to their parents

Hezekiah came from the shower, sat on the chair, and was wapping his hair.

Chen Guozhi walked over and stopped a few inches behind him. 

"Let me help you with that."

He felt Chen Guozhi's breath on his neck as he rubbed his back. A shiver runs down his spine, his ears turn red.

Chen Guozhi pulls his hair back and kisses his neck with the faintest bit of teeth, pinching his skin… 

Hezekiah turns his head so Chen Guozhi can kiss him on the lips. 

But surprisingly, that didn't happen. Chen Guo Zhi stood there looking down at him with no emotions in his dark eyes.

Hezekiah's heart trembles as he looks at the pair of eyes that are dark and bright, when looking at people, it seems to be able to absorb people's souls.

He blinks his eyes cutely but it didn't work. Chen Guo Zhi still looks at him indifferently.

He bowed his head in shame wondering what he did wrong. This is the first time he felt this awful. 

"Did you know you were bad tonight?" Chen Guo Zhi finally breaks the silence.

"B-bad?" 

"Yes, very bad! Flirting with Guo Xiang in front of me. What punishment do you think you deserve?"

"Pun … punishment? I … I didn't know I was flirting with him. It won't happen again. Can … can I not get punished?" Hezekiah looked at Chen Guozhi with tears in his eyes

But Chen Guozhi didn't sympathize with him at all, "So you're saying you did nothing wrong?" He asked coldly

"N-no, that … that's not what I meant." Hezekiah quickly waves his hands

"Zhou Jiang, listen, I'll only say this once. I am a very possessive person. I don't like things that I value to be touched by others. Here you are, you don't even know what you did wrong, how sure are you that you wouldn't repeat it in the future?" 

Hearing this, Hezekiah slowly got up from the chair, and walked to the bed, burying his face in the pillow, "Is this alright?" He asked

There are only two punishments he can possibly think of in this situation. If they were outside, maybe Chen Guozhi would tell him to run laps but now that they are inside, the next punishment should be smacking or even worse. 

"Take the towel off." Chen Guozhi order

If you want the child to be obedient, he/she needs to be punished to know how serious you are. If he did not teach his baby a lesson now, the baby wouldn't know how serious he is and will only take it as a joke. 

Hezekiah did as he was told with trembling hands.

Since they started dating, he always thought Chen Guo Zhi was gentle and easygoing. This is the first time he saw the beast side of him. Even though he begged him, Chen Guozhi didn't stop until he was satisfied.

A month later, training in spring city was over and everybody went home to prepare for the national league final that was in a week. Hezekiah's and Chen Guozhi's relationship also improved a lot in this period of time. The affability level increased to 98. They were planning to open up to their parents before the finals. Hezekiah rejected the female lead confession, thinking she'll be angry. Surprisingly, she wasn't upset, saying since Zhou Jiang likes men, there's nothing she can do about it. It would only embarrass her if it was another girl.

There Hezekiah was, standing in front of his parents, "Mom, Dad, I want to be open with you. Please hear me out, Ok? I don't want to be disappointed." He pauses for a moment then continues, "There's someone I like and we've been dating for a while now. I would like for you to approve of our relationship."

Madam didn't take it to heart and smile, "There's no problem. Where didn't you bring her? Or, Is she shy? That's normal for children these days."

"You're mistaken, mother. It's a man." Hezekiah let out a bomb

Zhou Junjie shakes his head, thinking he heard wrong, "Honey, Jiang is a girl, right?" He asked

Madam Zhou frowned, "What are you talking about? Jiang is a boy, your son!"

"A boy? … Honey, come with me." Zhou Junjie held his wife's hand and dragged her to their room.

"Your son likes men, what are you gonna do?" He asked walking around the room

"No, our son likes men, what are we gonna do?" Madam Zhou corrected him, "Besides, since he likes men, let him go …"

"No, our poor baby can't leave. He's still too young to leave home." Before she can finish, Zhou Junjie has already grabbed her shoulders

`I'm not done yet. That's not what I was going to say." Madam Zhou thought desperately

"It's just like. A man liking another man is not bad, right? This society can tolerate it, don't panic, wifey." Zhou Junjie said still shaking his wife

"STOP!" Madam Zhou couldn't take it anymore and yelled,  "Calm down, so we can think this through slowly."

"Oh, okay. Can I get a glass of water,  please?" 

"Sure." Madam Zhou smiled and called a servant

Hezekiah was tired of waiting so he called Chen Guozhi, "Hello? Where are you?"

It didn't take long for Chen Guozhi to pick up, "I'm on my way from the hospital."

"Did something happen?"

"You can say, … I told my mom about our relationship and she passed out."

"..." 

"?"

"HUH?" It took a while for Hezekiah to recover.

"Don't worry about it. This is also a good thing, it gives her time to think it through." Chen Guozhi said without a care. "How about your parents?"

"They are discussing it, it's been an hour now, yet no sound. I'm sure they won't reject me." Hezekiah spoke with confidence, "By the way, you said your mom fainted, what about your Dad?"

"He said he wants to meet you tomorrow."
