25 I Only Like You
The two of them arrived at the cinema and got out of the car.
There were a lot of movies to pick from on the site. The cinema was also packed, there were couples mixed with non-couples
The movie Chen Guozhi picked was a romance called, "Can I Trust You?"
[Because the protagonist died from heartbreak by the person he loved and trusted the most, after his rebirth, he found it hard to love again.]
"I'll go buy the tickets." Chen Guozhi said to Hezekiah and left
"Oh, okay." Hezekiah answer and also left to buy snacks
He brought popcorn and drinks with other snacks.
"WAAAAH, she's so pretty."
"She is the woman of my dreams, still young and fresh."
"I'm gonna ask for her number."
"I don't think that's a good idea …I think it's a man."
"Are you blind? Look at how pretty she is, her long beautiful hair, … even I can tell that she has long eyelid at this distance. I am gonna go now, wish me luck!!!"
Hezekiah, who was waiting for his target, didn't know that he was mistaken as a girl and even caught others' attention.
The boy walked to Hezekiah and put his hand around his shoulder, "Hey beautiful, I can see that you are alone so I came to accompany you."
Hezekiah looked at the unfamiliar face and took two steps back, "I appreciate the thought, but can you not touch me?"
The boy put his hand down and smiled, "Okay… beauty, there's no need to be so worked up. Can I have your number?"
"Why me?" Hezekiah ask, he wanted to get this over with, quickly
"Why?" The guy was confused at first then laughed, "because you're the only girl that caught my attention."
Hezekiah: "Sorry to disappoint you, I am a guy, and I'm also here with my date, so your company won't be necessary." He was already lucky that the male lead asked him out, he can't afford to mess it up.
"What? A guy? … Impossible!!!" The boy was so shocked that his mouth left open
He reaches out his hand to hold Hezekiah, but the hand was grabbed halfway
"What's going on here?" Chen Guozhi deep voice sounded
Hezekiah looked up and was suddenly guilty, "No, … nothing, he was asking for my number." He quickly explains his innocent like a young wife who was caught cheating
Chen Guozhi was pleased with Hezekiah's expression, his eyes softened as he held Hezekiah's hand, "If you're done, let's go."
"O-okay" Hezekiah hurriedly nodded
The boy was dumbfounded, his friends walked to him.
"How was it?" one of them asked
"He's a guy. With such beauty, what a pity."
"Yeah, what a pity." His friends comfort him.
Chen Guozhi led Hezekiah to the cinema without saying a word.
Their seats were at the back of the room which was more comfortable because they would have the best view there and won't have to be thronged by annoying people.
Five minutes later, the movie begins but Chen Guozhi still hasn't said anything which makes Hezekiah somewhat uncomfortable.
He lowered his head and pulled on Chen Guozhi's shirt, "Zhi? Guozhi, are you listening? I didn't do anything with that guy, he thought I was a girl so he asked for my number, but I really didn't give it to him, believe me."
"That's how a good boy should behave." Chen Guozhi robs his (Hezekiah) hair and asks "Why did you call me Zhi?"
"I figure I can't keep calling you captain when we are out, so I'll call you Zhi, but I can stop if you don't like it."
"I don't mind."
As time went by Hezekiah felt chills and weakness. He struck close to Chen Guozhi for warmth. [System, why am I so cold and my head hurts, do I have a fever?]
[It shouldn't be, nothing is wrong with this body.]
[then why am I uncomfortable? I feel kind of strange.]
[Let me go check it out, I'll be back soon.] The system left
"Jiang? Are you okay?" Chen Guozhi notice his abnormalness and asked
Hezekiah nodded, "Zhi, I have something to tell you. I have feelings for you." Hezekiah confess without himself knowing
"Uhh? What did you say?" Chen Guozhi didn't understand what he said
"I said, I, I, … I" Hezekiah felt something wasn't right. Now that he wanted to change the topic, his words wouldn't come out.
Why isn't this going according to the script?
Accordingly, Chen Guozhi was the one who asked him out on a date and it should be Chen Guozhi confessing, so why did the table turn suddenly?
"I like you " Hezekiah was even shocked by his own words but he couldn't control it
