5 When the Clock struck Twelve

Sakura and Jasmine took Rachel aside and told her about their Midnight Feast that they did on good occasions.

"We already have a Secret Stash filled with sweets!" Whispered Sakura, patting her purse gently. She opened it. Inside were lots of sweets such as;

Chupa Chups Lollipops

Gummy bears

Sugar Mice

Millions Candy

Mini Chocolate Eggs

And many, many more! She also had a torch the size of an average lipstick tube, just in case. Jasmine had one too.

Sakura firmly zipped the purse and they started to unpack their bags and tidy up the contents.

After that, Scarlett came in and kissed them goodnight. Rachel slept in the room next door and they had chosen a secret signal that meant the coast was clear. Rachel loved her room. It was a lush green colour and Scarlett had decorated it for her specially.

The signal was an owl's hoot and Jasmine had a special whistle for such a sound!

Two minutes before midnight [11: 58], Jasmine whistled the sound of agreement and Rachel heard immediately. She crept into their room.

"Hiya!" She whispered.

"Hewwo!" Greeted Sakura in a hushed tone.

Just then, the clock struck 12.

*Ding Dong ,Ding Dong*

Maplewood Manor was located near Big Ben.

"Can I have some sweeties, please?" Asked Dawn politely.

Sakura opened the bag and turned on the beside lamp. She tipped out the sweets and Dawn immediately grabbed a sugar mouse!

"Squeak, squeak!" Squeaked Dawn playfully. They ate until Sakura and Jasmine stopped them.

"Guys, we can't eat so that we're full because in the morning we won't want breakfast and Mum will have suspicions. So now we play our favourite family game of Hide and Seek!"

"YAY!!! I love Hide and Seek!" Squealed Rachel happily. "Can I count?"

"Yes but WAIT!" Sakura whispered, "Umm, guys, PROBLEM ALERT! We don't know where Mum's bedroom is!"

"Oh no." The girls groaned

"I've got an idea, whilst we play we look for the bedroom! What d'ya think?" Enquired Sakura.

"YES!" Agreed the girls in unison.

Sakura added , "We'll split up into pairs, Dawn, you'll come with me! Jazzy, want to take Autumn?

"Okay!" She replied.

"Lets go then!" Autumn chimed in.
