10 WHY ??

Wait , this can't be real . Can it ?

I am definitely dreaming .

I can't believe my Dad never told me about his brother or for the fact , about my Grandpa .

Getting to know about the stereotypes of this Island is one thing but this bomb was way bigger , for the past 16 years no one thought it was important for me to know about my family's discreet past .

The information Aunt just provided has put me in a state of shock . It's a lot to digest . But strangely enough , things started making quite some sense - like how Dad would never talk about Grandpa , how I wasn't allowed to see the photo album of his childhood and why he is overprotective about me and Mom - he is afraid he might lose us . The one thing that seems out of picture is why he didn't mentioned his brother ? Doesn't he trust me enough ?

Both , Aastha and Mia know about my Grandpa as they have been there while Aunt was telling me . No idea how or when they popped their heads inside the living room although , I am glad they did . It would have been hard to tell them about it and to be honest , I wanted them to know as they always know what to say to make the other person feel good .

After processing and repeating everything in my mind , I believe it's time I get further answers of my questions myself . And the first step of this mission is to gather all the information I can . And for that , I would have to spend some of my precious time in the Library. How wonderful !😑

As of the moment , I am sitting idle in our room doing precisely nothing . Just as I finish thinking of my Master plan the two idiot's came running into the room . And the sight is hilarious , take my word upon that . Aastha is drenched in water from head to toe and some dry leaves are dumped on her head making them glue to the water whereas she herself is holding a grumpy look as if to say my-life-is-shit . Behind her Mia is laughing hysterically till the point tears start steaming down her face .

" What the hell are you two up to ?"

" This asshole here decided I wouldn't mind getting drenched in ice cold water and then some dry leaves , so that I look like a freaking chicken " Aastha remarks bluntly .

" Payback is satisfying , young ladies " Mia says , her smirk widening .

" Ahhhh , I am so fed up of you and Carlos " Aastha states .

" Wait , where did he came from ?"

" We are friends and he helped in getting our plan into action " Mia answers for Aastha .

" But I hate him " Aastha argues back .

Let me tell you , it's been two days since we have been here and he is driving Aastha insane . It started during morning when I found both of them arguing who is smarter ? And then who can come up with better sarcastic comments ? And this is how you see ladies and gentlemen Aastha is losing her sanity . They both like to piss each other off and have the upper hand in argument . We know they just do it for fun and don't actually mean any real harm .

" The enemy of my enemy is my friend , sweetheart " Mia says .

" Emi , I want to ask you a very serious question that may bring us peace " Aastha asks looking at me expectantly . I gave her a nod telling to continue .

" Do you know how to murder someone in their sleep and not be caught ?" I shake my head at her .

" I can hear you , you know ." Mia asks , bored out of her mind .

" We know " We both reply simultaneous and burst out laughing where's she merely rolls her eyes .

" No offence , A . But please take a bath , you smells like poop " I told her trying to sound serious but failing miserably by the look of shock on her face .

" She is the one to be blamed " Aastha points accusingly at Mia one last time before she runs off in the direction of bathroom .

" Like I care " Mia scoffs under her breath .

I will tell them about my Master plan after Aastha comes out of shower . I bet Aastha would be thrilled by the idea of spending time in Library .
