7 THE HEART TALK

The three teenage girls sat in a comfortable silence , talking about everything and anything they wish . It has been a LONG Night for them and the idea of sleeping right now is appealing to all , however , a little thought is disturbing their peaceful wonderland . They do want to have a conversation about it , but don't know how to begin it .

" Alright Girls, I want to have a chat with you ". Emily states .

" About ?" Aastha asks .

" About something I saw , and The Mystery Of Autumn Valleys , about which Uncle was talking about earlier ".

" I am interested , please continue " Mia breaks into the conversation .

" You knew a word like 'please' existed on our Earth ?" Aastha asks actually amused while using her hands to emphasize the word please in quotation marks .

" Oh hush , A !" Mia said irritated.

" As I was saying , before this idiot cut me mid-sentence ," Emily gains their attention , glaring at Mia who smiles innocently .

She continues with a deep breath ," That the moment I stepped on this Island , there was a glow in the sky that disappeared before I had the chance to check if it was my imagination or reality + I also felt a bit ........ I don't know , dizzy - I guess . "

It was pin-drop silence for a minute , everyone digesting this new information or it confirming their doubt that , in fact , it was true . Cause as far as they know , a same thing can't happen to three girls at the same time , can it ?

" Umm , Emi - It was same for me too , the same things - the feeling of uneasiness and the glow ". Aastha says barely above a whisper .

Now , both of their attention was towards Mia . Their minds knew at this moment that she experienced it too , although their eyes begging her to differentiate . They aren't scared of what the future has in store for them , they are just not the type for haunted - adventure . But one thing is clear in their mind - WHATEVER THE FUTURE TACKLES THEM WITH , THEY ARE NOT STANDING IDLE . And , who doesn't like mysteries ? They crave for them .

A simple and small nod from Mia had their answers . The cheerful aura they carries everywhere with themselves is no longer visible on their faces .

" Okay , okay we need not to worry about it , it could have been ....... been ...... an illusion of the sun ! Yes , that's it ." Aastha shakingly says trying to reassure them or herself , no one knows .

" Hey , look at the bright side , we get to have an adventure of ours , just like other Disney princesses and movies have ". Mia says with confidence .

Their eyes light up with excitement cause it does sound engrossing and thought-provoking .

" So back to the topic , what are your thoughts about The story or , may I say , stereotypes ?" Emily asks .

" It seems to me that they are Fake . I mean , it's not scientific, is it ? And Aunt Wren assured us that this Island is as safe as it can be on Earth ." Aastha speaks her opinion .

" No offense , A ! But , I beg to differ . First of all - Science don't have all the answers , it's just a way to clarify one's point . There's no way , we know , if they are right or wrong or it can be just a perspective . I mean from our birth , we are taught some things or words whose definition is still unknown to us or we just think they are correct cause it is universal , everyone is following them , so should we .Just like there can be different solutions for a problem , there can be different answers for science . We don't have any other answers to compare it , so we assume they are right and also , there are a lot of mysteries still unsolved by science . Does that mean , they don't exist ? No , they do exist , alright !" Mia argues .

They stare at her in adoration and shock . She has never been the one to talk about things in a serious tone .

Aastha decides to light up the mood -

" HALLELUJAH "

" IT'S FINALLY HAPPENED "

" EMI ! EMI ! YOU'LL NEVER BELIEVE IT "

" OUR LITTLE PITTLE MIA , HAS FINALLY DISCOVERED THOUGHT " Aastha yells wiping away her fake tears .

Mia shows her her bad finger while controlling her laughter

Emily laughs at her idiot friends .
