1 Intro: The Thought Of A New Life In Seoul

Today was the day that dear Yin Yona would be moving out of her hometown to Seoul. Her parents answered her questions since now these days Seoul was very popular so it was very expensive to live there.

They explained that their old home was going to be destroyed for more space and a potential freeway.

Yona asked again why Seoul and her father explained that when they went there for their honeymoon they seemed to enjoy it more than they thought they would. Her father continued and said it could be better for his job, as well as for her mother's benefit so they could be closer to family. Yona didn't complain as their reason has been thought out well enough for her to comprehend.

Packing wasn't hard for Yona since she's used to moving a lot as a kid, the smell of new cardboard was nostalgic for her and she stared to grow a hobby of making things with cardboard.

Her creativity was impressive to her mother but then that amusement would leave when Yona would forget to clean up the scraps of paper and residue from the hot glue gun.

Yona was still young, she never worried about financial as she was distracted from making her crafts but even though her parents would be upset, she would brighten the room up with her finished products and huge smile that showed her dimples.

Now, Yona was a teenager. She was different but still kept her positivity with her and she understood what her parents had to do and not do. Yona was actually excited to move to Seoul.

In a couple more years she would graduate and go to college so she needed more ideas on what she wanted to do in life. Seoul was advertised on T.V as a great place for students that want to have better portfolio and image so when she heard they were going to Seoul, she couldn't hold in her internal excitement.

Yona was finished packing and informed her parents and started putting some of the light boxes in the back of their truck. She didn't like picking up heavy things since a few years ago her mother got a hernia from grabbing too many boxes at a time and has to go under surgery.

Her father shoved the last box into the truck and shut the door to seal the boxes tight for the long drive. Yona and her mother smile and Yona sits down on the porch stairs wiping off the small drops of sweat off of her face.

"Giving up so soon?"

"I don't know how you could not be scared of getting those round balls in your guts father," Yona said.

Her father chuckled, "Well the reason why your mother had one was because she forced herself to carry them even though her body was giving up on her. I'm a man and have to take the heavy boxes because who else would take these suckers out?"

Yona scratches her head thinking of an answer and then looks back at her father.

"Shouldn't we hire those guys to take out stuff?"

"Those men cost a fortune, we can do it for free honey. I got money, but not that much for some men to take our stuff. I ain't scared of a few boxes."

Her father ran up the porch and grabbed his keys.

They were off and left their old home, new home, new memories to be made, new friends, new places to go, all of this to Yona was exciting and she couldn't wait to explore Seoul. Yona rolled down her window and shouted with joy,

"Seoul, here we come baby!"
