2 2: The Mistake

"Sebby!" The high pitched voice suddenly stopped, as the person looked at Kai. "Who's this?" He looked at the person, noticing it's a short girl, seeming to be a little younger than both males, with blonde hair and sapphire eyes. "Don't tell me you're cheating on me!" Kai's eyes widened in shock. "Cheating? May, we're not even dating..." Sebastian then rolled his eyes at the childish woman in front of him. "This is just one of the newer staff members at the castle." The blonde girl sighed. "Phew! I was worried you were cheating on me Sebby!" Sebastian growled. "For the last time, we are not dating. Now leave, you're already getting on my nerves." The blonde woman then walked out, mumbling things under her breath.

Kai then cleared his throat. "So...was that your girlfriend?" The red haired male scoffed, chuckling slightly. "Get out." He then laid down on the bed. "Nope! You can't get rid of me now." Kai then proceeded to get comfortable on the male's bed, resting his head on the palm of his hand. "I can't imagine growing up in this place. Must've been great, am I right?" The black haired male looked around the room, looking how neatly decorated the room was. "Something like that..." Sebastian answered back, quieter than his usual aggressive, raspy voice.

"What's wrong? Where's that guy that yelled at me for being in his room?" Kai noticed the different attitude the red haired male had when he had responded. "I guess it just isn't the perfect life you're imagining, it's so controlling, I could barely do anything by myself without my mother jumping to conclusions." The male had went on a rant about how he disliked his life. He stated so many reasons that Kai had never thought about, especially since in fairy tales, they make it sound so pleasant. The red haired male slumped onto the bed next to the smaller man. Kai then scooted his body closer to the male, deciding to comfort Sebastian.

"Hm...how about you show me around the place?" Kai tried changing the subject to lighten the mood."I guess I should, shouldn't I?" Sebastian got up, grabbing Kai's hand, and leading him out of the bedroom. "I'm guessing you've seen your room already, right?" Kai nodded, gripping his hand tightly because of how fast the red haired male was walking. It felt like his arm was going to be ripped out from his body. Kai stopped walking, causing Sebastian to hurl back. "You're being so rough! It's supposed to be a tour not a damn punishment!" He huffed, rubbing his arm that felt like it was on fire. "Huh? What the hell are you talking about? I was being gentle you sensitive baby!" Sebastian replied with confusion in his tone.

"You were definitely not being gentle! That was really rough that it almost felt like my limb was ripping off!" Kai exclaimed, continuing to rub his shoulder that was in pain. "You must have a really low pain tolerance." Sebastian patted the smaller male's head, then crouching down to his level, making them face to face. "If it really hurt that much then I'll try to work on my strength." They both then noticed how close they both were to each other and immediately looked away from each other, blushing in embarrassment. "Let's just keep walking around! S-shall we?" Sebastian nodded quickly, not saying a single word and started to walk again. Kai had noticed that Sebastian was at least a foot taller than him, and that they both had different body types. There was so many contrasting features between the two of them, Sebastian had a very muscular build while Kai was a very slender man.

"This is the dining hall, we'll be eating here." Kai snapped back into reality, noticing the entirely new room that he had brought him to. The room had a very long table with a royal blue table runner on top of it. It was decorated with beautiful spring flowers from purple to yellow. "Woah...this is really where you eat?!" Kai opened in mouth, feeling jealous, since he was a broke college student, his apartment was quite small, and he would usually just eat on his couch. "Yeah? You must not be used to this type of stuff, huh?" Sebastian looked back at Kai, wondering if he's never seen a castle before.

"In reality, I've never seen anything like this! It's amazing!" Sebastian laughed at his response. "You must be joking, I mean everyone has seen a castle before." He suddenly remembered he doesn't know where he was, nor if it was the same world as he lived in. "Uh...I'm from somewhere else! A far away town!" It went quiet for a few minutes. "Are you perhaps from Castrick or maybe Elastora? Those two towns are the only ones that are quite far from here in Abingora." Kai quickly responded with a lie, he knew he shouldn't tell how he might have been stuck in this game, Sebastian wouldn't understand. "Uh y-yeah! I'm from Elastora!" The male noticed the stutter, but knew it wasn't his place to ask just yet, and knew it wasn't the time either. "Hm...alright, I'm guessing you're not royalty either, since you act like you've never been inside a castle?"

"Well...it's complicated I guess. Maybe if you get to know me better you'll find out." Kai chuckled, lightly jabbing his elbow to Sebastian's shoulder, trying to get a laugh out of him. "Hm, that's probably a good idea actually. Especially since we've been having this problem with complete rats in our staff, so it'd be better to get to know you, since you're working so close to me." The tour continued, from the dinning room, to the kitchen, and to the multiple other extra rooms they had in the castle, each room was accessorized with very fancy or expensive decorations that Kai, would've had to pay an arm and a leg for. "Thank you for showing me around, I really appreciate, Sebastian!" Kai then kissed his cheek, it was a habit he had with his friends and family, and after a few minutes, he had noticed what he could have caused.
