"I dare you to take away my son from me"

As the old man opened the door he saw that Si Li was standing behind the door.

Si Li tossed the USB towards the old man and said: "Release it".

Afterward, he left without looking back leaving everyone in hall dumbfounded.

Everyone knew that whatever Si Li had said, he would have done the same thing, nothing more or less. Since it had been three years since Si Li hadn't entered the building until now obviously everyone had forgotten Si Li's style.

No one had heard about Si Li whereabouts during the last three years. So they didn't have any idea why Si Li was there. What was more shocking was why Si Li came here to go into that room. Ever since that incident 3 years ago Si Li has been forbidden to return this place and everyone knew it they just did not know the details apart from that.

Did the old man and Choi Sun know why Si Li was here? Why did the old man allow him entry when he himself banned him?

Si Li left the building and was going towards his car when a voice had stopped him.

"Mr. Si…"

The person who called was Choi Sun.

Si Li turned around and his face was, as usual, was cold and expressionless.

"It would be good if you find the culprit within three months, otherwise…" Choi Sun stopped the sentence in between…

Indeed, Mo Jun had already told Choi Sun about their deal, which was made a few hours before.

Si Li's expression turned dark as he gazed at the young man and he asked in a cold voice "Otherwise?"

"Otherwise don't expect you can keep that child with you after that" Choi Sun warned him.

Si Li's face became to contort into a rage as if a demon possessed him as he glared at him, Choi Sun's back started sweating…

"I dare you to take away my son and expect to survive!" Si Li challenged him.

Choi Sun chuckled "Your Son? Don't forget we are his family, his father was one of us, he will eventually come here".

"No, he will live his life like he wants without anyone else's influence."

Choi Sun started laughing and clapping his hands "Hahaha… like he wants…hahaha…".

After a while, he stopped laughing with his hands on his stomach from the harsh laughter. Si Li was nonchalantly standing there and didn't give any response.

"Mr. Si, we will see if he still wants to live his life when he meets his father" Choi Sun said and turned around and left.

Si Li's heart sank…

Little Champ's real father…

Would Little Champ leave him and Lu Lan when his real father comes back?... How would he handle Lu Lan if Little Champ would choose to leave with his real father?... What about Elder Si?... Si Li thought about it then he helplessly sighed and left in his car…

---------

Si Li's penthouse…

When Lu Lan returned home Little Champ had already eaten his dinner and was now drawing something while his nanny was sitting beside him reading a book.

Little Champ was a sincere child. He was not a spoiled brat who threw tantrums and created unnecessary problems for the people who were below the rank of him in terms of status.

Even though Little Champ liked to play football the most of his interests were changing very easily and right at this moment, his interest was in drawing. So apart from studying and playing with Lu Lan he spent most of his time on drawing. Lu Lan was worried about the sudden change of his interest. Dr. Chen told her that it was normal for children to change their interests. One day they would want to become a car racer and another day they might want to become a pilot. When Little Champ was in Si Mansion, he only showed his interest in football as he hadn't had any friends apart from Elder Si.

Now that he was in their penthouse he started to display love for other things like drawing, reading, playing the piano, etc. Even though he still hadn't had any friends yet. Even without friends and after surviving his traumatic past his bond with Lu Lan was becoming stronger everyday…

Back to the present…

"Hey Baby have you had dinner?" Lu Lan softly asked.

Little Champ nodded with a big smile.

"Madam, Little Master was waiting for you. He wants to hear a bedtime story" Little Champ's nanny said.

"Baby, do you want Mommy to tell you a bedtime story?" Lu Lan asked Little Champ.

Little Champ nodded repeatedly with a big smile. Lu Lan let out a laugh Little Champ looked really cute when he nodded with a smile. His smile was so charming it was hard to believe the little guy had seen such terrifying things before. Little Champ didn't like the stories of Cinderella or similar girly kinds of stories. So Lu Lan had to do some research on other types of stories for Little Champ, like Peter Pan or The Boy who cried Wolf and many more… After telling different kinds of stories to Little Champ he finally fell asleep.

After Lu Lan had a shower she went to the living room with some documents related to work. She made a plan to finish her work tonight because she had to accompany Si Li to the hospital. Actually, this work was only an excuse to distract her mind Si Li hadn't returned yet and she was worried about him. He was recovering still, but still, she couldn't stop him from doing his work.
