Chapter 39: Redirect, Artificial Brains

Reaching the pigs' den, Raizel circulated his aura around his feet to disrupt the vibrations that his weights produce while walking. War-boars' first detection skill is sensing the vibrations from the earth, so even if they go blind, taking down a war-boar with your feet on the ground will never be easy.

'Resources like them are rare at my current level, maybe I could use them in other ways. Being food at my table is just wasting their talent.' Raizel thought.

'I cannot help but feel that I am getting dumb as each day passes. System, scan my brain and electro-thermal activity as well as mind and body resonance.' Raizel orders.

'So, that's why I feel so stupid,' thought Raizel. 'That also means my true mind is currently in ruins with my Daos maintaining all my thoughts, memorirs and emotionals.'

Mental functions like thoughts, motor skills, auto-motor skills, memories, feelings, even abilities take a certain amount of space in the totality of the brain capacity. The mind is like the software which is installed into the core processor of the body which is the brain. In Raizel's case, his goblin brain is simply incapable of housing his mind and soul abilities.  

The {Hive-Mind Server} is an ancient and cruel technique of necromancy which uses human brains and connects them to their mind, thereby, increasing their own brain capacity. Otherwise, necromancers would never be a true threat to any society as limited brain capacity would also bar the amount of undead they control.

In fact, many mages in the past have created artificial brains to increase their brain capacity. Once there is enough space, the mind would naturally expand as well. Raizel still remembers the state of the necromancers, because they were the first mind power users he had encountered as a ghost.

'That universe's inhabitants viewed the necromancers as worshipers of the death god. However, in truth they were beings with the talent to violate the very concept of death. They were the true creators of nether force, energy made of all dark emotions, thoughts and desires.'

Raizel left the war-orcs' cave heading east aiming for the slime river not far from the location.

Slimes were the most basic type of monsters with an endless amount of variations. They liquid blobs in possession of energy nucleuses.

Yet, their nucleus were something in between mana and aura, much closer to life cores than any other monster.

"Slimes are the perfect material for organic transmutation. It's wired that none of the worlds I visited ever saw them as anything more," mutters Raizel.

For the exceed rank, Raizel needed four genes to construct a true mutant body and four psycs  to build a true mutant mind.

Raizel's old mutant mind was created from three basic spirit creatures like banshee, dajin, and Gumei.

Banshee carried intense emotions, Dajin had boundless intention, while Gumei were thoughtful trees of knowledge.

Raizel plans to use the slime's unique traits; <Hive Clone>, <Hive Unity> and <Simbiote Core> to build his artificial brains. These three were truly powerful abilities and the reason why slimes have no evolution route.

They turn into a superior slime fusing with 1000-100,000 clone slimes and take on animanoid (any form of animals they want to be) forms.

'They will be a one of the core component of my true body,' thought Raizel.

Raizel plans to cultivate the <Dual Symbiote Self Art>, a unique necrotic art he made from the two magical spells; <Lichification Immortality Ritual> and <Fimiliar Symbiosis Contract>, alongside two martial skills <Tyrant Vitality Method> and <Telemind Tycoon Method>

'The martial and magical universes' really had cringe naming sense, that was not a myth.'

'The <Dual Symbiote Self Art> in theory can allow a soul and body to split into two independent souls and bodies.'

'Then bind them into an enternal fimiliar contract like a tamer would to his/her beast before the second soul and body have a chance to develop their own mind and spirit.'

Soon a calm river appeared in Raizel's vision field-- the slime river to be precise.
