1 My Life Is A Living Hell

(Alexis' P.O.V.)

...I made no noise, as I cower into the corner. Away from the man I used to call father...

My name is Alexis Mary. I am 17 years old. My birthday is in 2 months. My 'fathers' name is Jackson Mary. I have blonde hair with blue tips. I also have blue eyes. I always wear the same hoodie, it is a straight black hoodie that I got from the supermarket. I think that's all you need to know about me... well except the fact that I am mute, by choice of course. I just don't trust myself to blurt out everything that has happened to me. Okay, back to the present...

...he began to advance towards me. I moved as far away as I could. I backed up until my back hit the wall. He wasn't drunk. He wasn't high. He wasn't doing anything... but blaming me for my mommas death. My mom meant the world to me. She passed away in a car accident. She was in her way to the store to get more dinner ingredients. There was a red pickup truck that pulled out infront of my moms black Subaru. Her seat belt broke during the collision so she went through the window. When the police officer cane to the door I was cowering behind my father when he told us two words that would forever change my life...she's gone... my father screaming at me brought me back into the present time.

" YOU ARE A DISGRACE FOR A CHILD!" I didn't even flinch when he punched me in the stomach. The beatings continued for hours. All the while he was screaming profanities at me. When he finally went away to go to the bathroom I ran out of the room. In more pain than ever. I ran to my room and locked the door, then proceeded to check myself for broken bones. I had three cracked ribs, one broken foot, and bruises everywhere. I began to slowly undress and attempted to take a shower.

When I was satisfied that I was clean enough I went to get dressed in my pajamas. When I came back out I was in so much pain. I couldn't cry anymore, I was incapable of crying. My father was the only person who is capable of doing this to me. Making me weak that is.

As soon as I got into bed my phone buzzed. Me being me, I decided I was to lazy to get it so I just went to bed. As I was slowly drifting into blackness I could've sworn I could hear something tapping on my window...
