'Nobody deserves to die...'

"I'm off , mom."

Picking up the orange suitcase filled with his clothes Haki opened the wooden door infront of him. His mom came running to the entrance and said ,

"Take care out there. Don't roam around during night and don't drink too much. Also be sure to lock the doors when you sleep."

'... and yet they do.'

Haki let a huge sigh out and said ,

"Hah , mom locking the door isn't gonna stop sinners. Anyways , I'm leaving now. Bye."

"Just lock the door."

'In this unfair world... people are killed'

She looked at her son's back and couldn't help but feel proud , Haki was attending at the third best university in the whole country. Some people said that his father helped him but his mother knew that her husband wouldn't do something unfair like that.

'He should've left after dinner.'

The cab Haki booked came right on time , with his pumped up arms he was easily able to put the heavy suitcase in the trunk of the car.

'In my opinion the right ways to die are because of an accident or disease or dying old. Dying because of someone killed you is just... unfair.'

"Sir, the pin?"

"Ah yes , wait a min."

Opening the cab's app Haki repeated the pin to the cab driver.

'When even the government that we pay to can't protect us...'

"It's the Silveria University , right sir?"

"Yes. The one in Sector-30."

'... someone needs to make the change... someone needs to serve justice.'

After 20 minutes ride from his home Haki stood before the big steel door , this wasn't the door to the university. Instead it was to the dorm he lived at.

"Thank you for using Drivix."

Saying that the cab driver left.

'Hah , it's gonna be a long night.'

After taking a quick shower Haki wore the plain black T-shirt he had to cover his well built muscles. Opening the group chat named 'Uni Friends' Haki sent a message.

Sara was the first one to reply.

Below her message was Jeff's reply.

<I'm in too. The break was soo boring –_– Count me in>

Like that Jeri , Conor and Heli replied with a 'Count me In'.

The one to say this was Rin , to his message Haki replied with ,

Everyone in the group chat replied with a thumbs up emoji and with that the discussion came to an end. Placing his phone on the table near his bed Haki looked out the window.

'Thud'

"Hmm , I'll need my raincoat today."

"Aah f*ck , why is it raining now?"

"Chill Heli , it's July of course it's going to rain."

Standing in the middle of rain Heli cursed the rain for ruining her mood , while this happened Jeff tried to calm her anger down.

"Shut the f*ck up. A pervert like you should just-"

Heli stopped talking any further as she saw Jeff's reddened face.

"Y-You pervert!"

Tired of Jeff's and Heli fights Jeri said ,

"Man those two are loud as ever. Anyways how was your break Haki? Anything interesting happened at your house?"

While Heli shouted at Jeff in the background Haki , Sara , Conor and Jeri were having a pleasant and quite conversation. Standing under the shop's shade four of them had a quick catch-up.

"I was just lazing around , nothing special. How about you , Jeri?"

"I just did a bit of experiments with my gift , learning more about my abilities is always great experience. Also did you see the 'scheme' Mutant Corp introduced? Last time when they did something like this many of the mutants marked by their chips went missing."

"It was obviously Corporation's doing , how the hell were they able to even survive after the scam. Sorry if I offend you Haki , but I don't trust that Corp. anymore."

Haki's father worked at Mutant Corp. which is why Jeri tried to be as polite as she could be while talking about Mutant Corp.

"I don't care much about that corporation , even if my father works their it doesn't change the fact that what they do is bad. One day , they'll pay for what they've done."

"..."

Annoyed by Haki blabbering about 'paying for there crimes' Jeri thought ,

'It's been 7 months since we started doing this. Yet I still couldn't find out why Haki is so obsessed with serving justice.'

Unfair world , serve justice and nobody deserves to die these phrases came out of Haki's mouth quite often. Nobody knew why he was obsessed with being the hero of justice , they've been friends since high school and after entering University all of them were randomly enlightened.

"Yo! how are y'all doin? Did I keep anyone waiting?"

The whole group was standing under the rain for just one person and that was Rin.

"You a**hole where were you? We've been waiting for 10 minutes in this f*cking rain."

With her voice filled with anger Heli shouted at Rin for being late , meanwhile Haki was playing with his mobile. Few seconds passed and Haki finally shut his mobile off.

'Tweak'

'Pon Pon'

'Grr Grr'

Suddenly all of there phone got a message.

"Atleast put your phone on silent."

"..."

"Anyways , I've sent the locations for today. The teams for today will be- Team-1 : me and Sara. Team-2 : Heli , Jeff and Conor. Team-3 : Rin and Jeri. As always we are cleaning the Divine End's bases."

"Aw man , How long are we going to continue hitting their bases? Why don't we have some fun with the big dogs like Sector-21 base of Grave Saints? I've noticed that most of there members are frontliners so that base isn't filled with as many member as other's are."

Heli was bored.

"Kill those low tier's is no fun , atleast those Grave Saints members are trained enough to amuse me."

Sara who was quite until now opened her mouth and said ,

"Heli , we shouldn't get full of ourselves. Didn't you see the disaster only one of their member created in the yesterday's news?"

"I've heard about it , but those bases were nowhere near Sector-21. So that member might be was-"

Haki finally decided interrupt Heli and said in his deep voice ,

"Heli , Grave Saints aren't our enemies... atleast for now. If anything they're protecting our country. I know that they aren't the best group of people out there , but they're still better than those b*stards calling themselves divine. So let's put an end to this discussion , we can pay attention to them once all the Divine bases are cleaned."

"..."

Saying nothing further the whole group took there masks out and left the location to clean the bases assigned to them. For Team 1 it was Sector-27 bases.

"Hey Haki , don't you think we should pay more attention to Grave Saints now? That killer I saw on the news killed many innocent people too , if he keeps going on rampage like that then..."

"Do you think Tier 6's like us can take on Grave Saints? I know I'm answering you question with a question but we've to think carefully before making these kind of decisions. They could hurt our family if they needed , these mere masks we wear can't hide our identity before them."

Sara realised why Haki was decided as a leader , his plans never put their group in danger. The locations of bases he chose to hit and the teams he formed were done after thinking it over and over.

With a smile on her Sara said ,

"I see , then let's start with our base for today."

"Ah yes , let's get started."

Hero.

Hero of Justice.

The one who saves good people and punishes the bad ones.

If the world is on the wrong path which leads to destruction then I , who serves justice shall lead them to the right path.

Why?

Cause heroes are cool. When a villain kills someone they're branded as evil person , but when a heroes kills anyone even if the person was innocent they're the saviour , the good person. Both of them kill someone but only one of them is seen as a good person.

So the question is , wouldn't you want to be the good person after killing a person?

Hahahaha.

Did you get it?

I realised this when I was saved by a kid from Mutant Corp. when he saved me I thought to myself ,

'Didn't he just killed a person? Why are they praising him? And why is that boy smiling?'

When the flashes of the camera fell on his face he turned his back on the numerous camera and walked upto me with his brightest smile.

"Hey , are you alright? The bad guy is gone so you can relax."

That was it.

That was the moment I realised. With the most genuine smile on my face I thought to myself ,

'So this is the right way to serve justice.'

Nobody deserves to die- my bad. Nobody deserves to get killed and yet they get killed. A mere mutant like me can't change it.

But what I can do is to replace the good people who are getting killed with bad people.

Hello.

I'm the hero.

I use Justice as a reason to kill people.
