13 Chapter 13: Another Group of Hostile Barbarians

After the Barbarian was out of my Dungeon I just went back to expansion since it was mostly the only thing I could do to pass the time.

My first floor's circumference has reached a little over 35 miles and it only continued to grow with every day I am expanding.

I'm always adding more monsters to the floor and even had over 100 Named monsters now!

So far it didn't seem like there even was a limit for names so I have been naming quite a few of the monsters, around 1 in 10 monsters I would name

Right about now there are a little over 300 Monsters and almost 800 animals roaming the forest living their lives in my dungeon.

With my first floor being an Ecosystem the monsters and animals fight all the time and quite a few die, but lately, since the animals have started breeding I no longer have to worry about them.

Another thing I found out was that my Slimes and Lizards reproduced by themselves meaning I didn't have to keep creating more when one died, but Goblins...their reproduction was more complicated.

They needed a Goblin Female or another creature to breed and reproduce more Goblins.

Which meant if they wanted to produce more Goblins they would need to either procreate with the Dungeon Delvers, wait until I eventually create a Goblin Female, or they would have to procreate with the animals which I won't allow.

I won't allow it because it may have side effects for breeding with an animal or beast that's not human or has human-level intelligence.

For all, I know it could eventually make the descendants of the Goblins even dumber than they already are, and I do š™£š™¤š™© need that right now.

Sigh...with that mental dilemma out of the way I went back to the expansion and within a few hours, a notification appeared.

[Mana Mining has leveled up!]

With Mana Mining reaching level 6 mining became even easier, once again helping increase the speed of my expansion.

By now it only took a swipe of the hand and some mana to mine the dirt that makes the walls of the first floor.

I have yet to come across any kind of stone or metal.

The only way I was able to give the goblins any stone was through the use of Mana and creating the stone myself.

I just hope I don't have to continue manually creating stone or have to create metal in the future.

Although I am a Dungeon I don't really want to Micro-manage everything, hence I created an Ecosystem that could survive on its own without my influence which gave me time to work on other things.

As I continued my expansion, as usual, a pleasant Notification appeared.

[14 Male Humans have entered the Dungeon!]

Oh?

Switching my view over to the visitors I found that they were part of the group of Barbarians that delved into me a short while ago!

And this time they even brought me more people!

And just like last time, they showed up expecting a fight, but this time they came prepared with what appears to be their best warriors.

They were large men with large muscular bodies who wielded swords and shields(which were still crude) and wore dark fur clothing.

Well, I guess this would be a great time to test out the strength and skills of Ragnar and his subordinates.

Delivering my orders to Ragnar and his subordinates they soon left the cave their tribe inhabits.

Ragnar and his 10 Goblin subordinates were the leaders of the Goblin Tribe!

I can't wait to see what will happen!

Within minutes the Goblins soon reached the group of Barbarians!

The two groups looked at each other with clear hostility!

Suddenly the tribe's shaman made the first move!

"[Buff: Strengthen]!" Nag, the tribe's shaman chanted with the target being his fellow Goblins.

A white light flashed from the staff in his hand and washed over his allies.

Seeing this spectacle the Barbarians froze.

"[Goblin's Curse!]" Chanted Nag, with the targets being the Barbarians.

The Barbarians shuddered as a red light washed over them, making them feel weaker and slower...

Seeing that the enemy was weakening them the Barbarians instantly charged forth and attacked the group of Goblins!

Within seconds one of the Goblins already died!

[A Named Goblin has died! 25 Mana points to revive!]

So fast?!

These Barbarians are much stronger than the last group!

After getting attacked Ragnar and the other Goblin Warriors charged and started fighting the Barbarians.

To my disappointment, the Goblins were just...too weak, the Goblins were getting slaughtered by the Barbarians.

The only ones able to fend off a single Barbarian by themselves were Ragnar, Nag, and a Goblin Warrior by the name of Bon...

It seems that I will need to put my Goblins under a serious amount of training if I want them to thrive.
