1 The Story of the Moth Stuck in our Balcony:

The story starts with a very unusual event that have happened – that same day I came up with this story you are reading right now. It's about me waking up early in the morning. For some reason I had a feeling it adds value to the experience, because I have sleeping problems a.k.a nocturnal.

You may be thinking "Uhm buddy, you mean insomnia?", I'd say, "No, and I know the difference between those words, I just refuse to sleep for many reasons."

Anyway.

I woke up early in the morning which led me to make an unusual routine which is pouring a hot water on a mug with a tea bag of green tea. I then went to the balcony with the drink and sat on a director's chair and lit a cigarette (the only unusual activity I did in the routine).

Feeling the ambience of a fresh morning, while checking on people who are passing by outside, and the beautiful view of the blues sky with birds and planes flying freely.

As I try to reach the ashtray to clear the ashes from my cigarette, I noticed a bug on the ground of our balcony who seemed to be wandering around. The bug totally caught my attention. As per curiosity and fear (who's not afraid of bugs?) I observed.

It took me two puffs to realize that the bug is indeed struggling. It is safe to say that the bug is dealing with its biggest/worst obstacle, the glass railings.

As a spectator I arrogantly thought, "Why can't he just raise his altitude? He's not making any progress. He's literally going to die if I decided to hit him with my slippers anytime."

But then I thought of not killing the moth for a really interesting courage and consistency he's doing. The moth is trying its very best efforts to pass through the glass railings, he is hitting the glass railing so hard continuously that I can somehow hear the impact from the glass railings, and getting stunned by the impact doesn't stop him. Unfortunately, succeeding seemed nearly impossible from happening.

Getting back on my senses I thought, "Well, that's because the moth's brain is too small to understand the concept of glass and windows, or maybe its body structure isn't built to reach that kind of altitude to escape."

After hitting my last puff, I decided to lift the moth with a dirty cloth I found from the corner to escape because of the eagerness it showed.

As a witness of the event, it drowned me from overflowing thoughts. In a way, I realized that we as human beings are dealing with the exact same thing, as if we're no better than the poor moth who's stuck in our balcony!

We all deal with problems, and sometimes no matter how hard we try, its just not enough. Like the moth, our brain has its own capacity, we're too small to understand the whole universe or life itself. This is why we usually see ourselves or the people around us wandering around, lost, trying to fit in, trying to find purpose, dull, or stuck in our own head.

I know for some people it is more thrilling to deal with the obstacles on their own, but sometimes we don't have to get hit by a truck to learn how to cross the road.

This is why I would suggest whoever reading this content to seek help when you find yourself in a sticky situation, and do not be discouraged if help didn't arrive as sooner as you needed it, because eventually the "Universe" or "God" will make a way a.k.a "Miracles".

Thanks.
