"What's going on?"

"Attack! There are enemies!!"

In the chaotic mansion, the recently emerged members of the Jeide family's gang rushed around frantically. Many of them were only wearing shorts, but they all had weapons in their hands: daggers, cutlasses, flintlock pistols, and more.

"Enemies are over there—"

Boom!

Every time the thugs attempted to gather and figure out the situation, a fist-sized 'explosive' flew towards them, causing a bloody and chaotic scene.

In just half a minute, Doflamiongo alone had killed more than a dozen thugs.

More were injured and frightened, fleeing in all directions.

The cost was the depletion of millions of Berries worth of 'explosive rocks,' fully demonstrating the power of money!

Plunging his two bound knives into flesh, Virgo killed off the remaining thugs with a focused and desperate look.

"Where is Doflamiongo? Where is Rosinante?"

The once formidable Jeide family's mansion had turned into a ruin with billowing black smoke, illuminating the thugs' bewilderment and screams.

Doflamiongo's maniacal laughter echoed through the mansion, which had ruled "Spaidamailuz Town" for over a decade, causing Polkin, who was following him, to feel his head buzzing.

Polkin was just an ordinary son from a working-class family. Even though he had a fiery spirit, suddenly being thrust into this brutal battlefield where life vanished in seconds left him dazed and instinctively seeking a sense of security.

The only one who could give him that feeling was Rosinante Nandi, who had a good temper.

"Rosinante—"

Transformed into a bomb maniac, Doflamiongo scanned the disoriented thugs fleeing in all directions and focused his gaze on the wide-open main door of the mansion.

"Let's go, we're going in!"

Drawing his flintlock pistol, Doflamiongo took the lead.

Covered in blood, Virgo also abandoned other opponents and rushed into the main entrance.

With the explosive barrel on his back, Polkin glanced around at the injured thugs and followed them inside.

Staying outside, waiting for the thugs to regain their senses, would only lead to a violent death.

At this moment, Rosinante:

"Die!!"

In the corridor, Rosinante, who was retreating, swung his jet-black dagger, emitting a dim, low sound—swift and precise!

Evading the dual claws thrust at him by a hunting dog, he then slipped under the rows of open jaws, accurately hitting the throat of the hunting dog.

A throat strike would be fatal!

This beast weighed an astonishing fifty kilograms, and its muscles were so pronounced that even its fur couldn't hide them. However, before the sharp claws and teeth of this unknown creature could be fully utilized, it died in Rosinante's hands.

But immediately after, three hunting dogs chased after him, acting in sync. One aimed for Rosinante's ankles, another lunged for his chest, and the last leaped onto the wall, using it as a platform to pounce from above!

The three hunting dogs attacked Rosinante from different angles simultaneously. In this way, no matter how fast, precise, fierce, or ruthless Rosinante's dagger strikes were, he could kill at most one of them. He would inevitably be knocked down by the remaining hunting dogs.

Once on the ground, the following feRosinanteous mauling would end this battle.

Damn it!

Even beasts know how to cooperate in surrounding attacks?

Internally, Rosinante crazily complained. In response, he lunged towards a nearby room door and crashed into it, narrowly avoiding the pack of hunting dogs that madly rushed through the entrance!

Following that, the figures of the three hunting dogs dashed out from the doorway.

Quickly rolling back up, Rosinante held his arms in front of him and headed directly for the nearby window.

Crash—

Amidst the sound of shattering glass, Rosinante's figure flew out, enveloped in glimmering shards of glass.

Rolling and climbing up from the grassy ground, Rosinante paid no attention to the countless glass shards embedded in his body. He didn't have time to worry, as the relentless footsteps of the hunting dogs were rapidly approaching from behind.

In the next second, a group of agile figures pounced out, surrounding Rosinante from left and right, closing in on him while whistling.

"Did you deliberately lead them to the backyard? Are you here to save someone?"

A burly man wearing a leather jacket and a head covering jumped out from the window right after them.

"Poor you, you finally made it this far."

The whip in his hand casually hung on the ground, and the blood-soaked words came from under the blood-drenched head covering.

"My 'children' love the flesh and blood of the strong, followed by that of children..."

His implication was that Rosinante fit both categories.

Rosinante was strong?

Compared to ordinary people, he was undoubtedly much stronger!

Ignoring the abilities of the "Fruit of Silence," just his developed body alone displayed impressive strength, agility, and recovery abilities.

Coupled with the "Leaving No Regrets" nature of the transmigrator, he could easily defeat even professional thugs, not to mention ordinary people.

But to be called a "strong one"...

The beast tamer in front of him, controlling more than a dozen hunting dogs, could still chase Rosinante down in a miserable state.

And the hunting dogs of this beast tamer were not even comparable to the two-meter-tall lion Ritchie ridden by Buggy's future subordinate, Mochi.

In other words, the current Rosinante was not even as strong as the executive that Luffy casually defeated upon setting sail.

In terms of bounty, he probably wouldn't be worth more than 6 or 7 million Berries...

"Relying on hunting dogs is nothing more than taking advantage of numbers."

Facing Rosinante's taunts, the burly man with the head covering shook his head disdainfully.

"Naive,"

"Let me give up my 'children' and fight you one on one—"

"Right,"

Covered in blood, Rosinante ran his hand through his hair, blood "combing" it into a gold-red quiff.

"I've already seen through your tricks. Now it's time for a one-on-one battle."

?

After making this declaration, Rosinante crouched down and assumed a stance to build momentum, then pushed off with his feet!

Whoosh,

His entire body transformed into an arrow, charging straight towards the burly man with the head covering!

"Take him down,"

Facing Rosinante's charge, the man with the head covering calmly issued the command.

···

However, the hunting dogs, which were supposed to attack simultaneously from all sides, remained still, maintaining a posture of surrounding Rosinante without attacking. It was as if they were genuinely waiting for their "master" to have a one-on-one with him.

?

What—

While the beast tamer was dazed, Rosinante had already closed in on him at high speed! Without time to think about why the hunting dogs weren't moving, he immediately swung the whip in his hand.

The whip in the tamer's hand was specially made, filled with numerous sharp barbs.

With a single lash, it could "dig" a string of flesh and blood from the enemy. Countless "tough guys" had fallen to their knees, begging for mercy under his whip. This boy could only hide—

He must hide!

Crack!

Faced with this fierce attack, Rosinante simply tilted his head, allowing the whip to land on his shoulder. The barbs on the whip immediately pierced through his clothes, cutting his skin and revealing the tender red flesh underneath.

With this lash, half of Rosinante's shoulder was instantly bloodied!

Yet, Rosinante seized this opportunity, taking swift steps forward once again, rushing directly in front of the tall man with the leather face mask.

In trouble—

After all, the whip was a beast tamer's weapon, used for torture, not a dedicated weapon.

The tamer hadn't expected the boy in front of him to withstand the attack with his body. He couldn't retract his weapon in time, and as he saw the dark dagger in the boy's hand viciously thrusting towards his abdomen, he could only extend his hand downwards.

Splut,

"Ah! You little brat!"

Although he blocked the stab, the excruciating pain from the pierced palm caused the tamer to fly into a rage. Clenching the dagger tightly with his five fingers, countless torturous ideas flashed through his mind.

"I'll make my 'children' tear you apart—?"

However, Rosinante, who was in the midst of the battle, didn't have the habit of listening to others' trash talk. At the same time as he stumbled, he reached out and grabbed the collar and waistband of the leather-faced man's jacket.

"Get up!"

With a forceful pull, Rosinante lifted the leather-faced man off the ground and then fiercely threw him towards the pack of hunting dogs.

Bang,

"Woof?"

"Roar—"

Faced with their "master" crashing towards them, the pack of hunting dogs agilely leaped aside, emitting low growls from their throats, a unique intimidation display of canines before launching an attack.

"You bastard—"

"Attack, tear him to pieces!!"

The beast tamer, who had just sat up from the ground, was furious and filled with madness. He had never experienced such humiliation before! He was determined to tear this guy to shreds and turn him into dog food...

"Save it; your 'children' can't hear what you're saying."

No matter how skilled a beast tamer was, he needed sound and a whip to create a "conditioned reflex" in animals. Once he lost his voice and tool, not to mention animals, even humans wouldn't understand what their kind wanted to convey.

In the eyes of the pack of hunting dogs, after receiving the command to surround their prey, their master had not issued any new instructions. As a result, both he and the prey started "dancing" around.

Moreover...

The beast tamer, who had crashed into the pack of hunting dogs, had a continuously bleeding palm from the pierced hand, which caused the bloodthirsty dogs, accustomed to human flesh, to sniff and their eyes turn blood-red.

"What do you think will happen if the beast tamer loses his whip?"

Facing Rosinante's question, the leather-faced man, who had just gotten up from the ground, paused. The expression under his head covering instantly froze.

He lowered his head,

A group of snarling hunting dogs was staring at him, their blood-red pupils revealing their feRosinantety!

To maintain the fighting ability of these hunting dogs, the beast tamer had kept them in a state of hunger. However, now:

Bleeding, no whip, no commands... that didn't make him their "master" anymore.

"You... you all... get away!"

The beast tamer waved his hand furiously, trying to drive away these man-eating hunting dogs.

However, his "silent" anger couldn't hide his terror. The blood spraying from his wounds allowed these hunting dogs to easily see his weak nature: he was their food!

In an instant, the hunting dogs pounced on him from all sides, knocking the beast tamer down to the ground.

"Ah—"

Amidst the tearing, chewing, and swallowing sounds, a strange hissing sound followed. That was the sound of a human's throat being severed.

One of the leaders under the 'big shot' Thompson,

One of the heads: 'Man-eating Hound' Toru, dead!
