20 Examinator

With his clothes ripped to shreds and wounds on his body, Jiyu finally stepped through the door of the 25th floor. The journey to get to this point wasn't easy at all. After the tenth level, it went smooth until level 15 were he met an opponent once more.

This time it was an old woman who seemed to be a mage. The pointy hat the long robe she wore truly a fitting attire for a mage. She excelled at the use of lighting magic. This magic was truly harsh to fight against. Barely winning the fight Jiyu continued on his way through the tower. This tower was slowly tempering him mentally and physically also his battle experience was slowly rising.

This place was a great opportunity for his growth. When he finally got to the 20th level however was the truly hard part. Starting this moment he no longer had to hurt or kill his opponent but just survive for 2 minutes. When he entered into that room he saw a man with red hair that was spiked upwards.

A red long beard and a sharp gaze he gave of the feeling of war. It was clear that he was honed by the various wars he had been in and without even trying he released the immense pressure. That man turned out to be a magic swordsman a warlord even. With immense luck, Jiyu managed to survive his strikes for 2 minutes. But if the man had the intent to kill it would have been another story.

Like that he finally made his way to the final level. Here would be a top hunter that would test him the question was what type of hunter would test him. One with a bad temper and personality may not let him pass when he deserved it.

But with a determination to pass this last test he stepped through the door. When the blinding light was no longer there he saw a simple room. Nothing was in it expect a man that stood tall bulging muscles and black hair. A figure that wasn't unknown to Jiyu. The chairmaster of the hunter association and the in name uncle of him sat there.

Peacefully with his eyes closed into deep meditation. When Jiyu set a single step his voice resounded through the space, "to think the one that I would test is you Jiyu" Gon said while he slowly stood up looking towards the boy before him.

"You choose the hardest route in this whole tower yet you survived. I could let you pass without a fight but seeing your face I presume that isn't what you want?"

He was not wrong even if Jiyu had long since realized that he couldn't even scratch the one before him he was excited. He wanted to experience the power of the so-called 'strongest.' He wanted to see where he stood in this world.

And like that the battle began but as soon as it started it ended. When Jiyu was excited to fight Gon made up his mind. He knew the kid good enough to realize he just wanted to test himself. So like that he fully released his powers if before it looked like he was a hidden beast it was now more like an unleashed beast. The immense pressure he just gave off from standing was enough to make Jiyu sweat.

But when he stepped closer and closer his knees grew weak. Just an instant later he hit the ground while Gon stood in front of him. "I'll be honest you have talent but don't think you can fight a powerhouse in this world. There are so many strong existences out there that if you acted high and mighty and excited to fight everyone. You would die without even realizing how your life ended."

With sweat drops, Jiyu kept looking up determined to reach this power no determined to surpass it. As soon as Gon saw this he smiled lightly he knew that the kid had immense determination. To keep looking into his eyes without any shred of fear was something that not a normal person could do.

Just from this, he had passed the 25th test. The pride and arrogance that Jiyu once had slowly disappeared. The second test was a learning experience for him. The room of death and all the previous life or death battles tempered his mental toughness and his physical toughness. Also, his battle experience rose a lot.

But most important of all was this experience to experience what real power was. Previously he had been proud and arrogant about himself but right now he knew that all of that was something useless.

Something that would make him die an early death.
