In the mysterious realm of Kalvon, where shadows whispered tales of Kings and Queens, none were as infamous as King Jetaime. Whispers echoed through the cobblestone corridors and darkened chambers of the palace, painting a macabre portrait of a heartless sovereign scarred by the cruelty of fate. His legs, so the tales spun, were lifeless appendages, and his face, a grotesque canvas of boils. His was a visage that struck terror into the hearts of those who dared imagine it. Yet, destiny took an unforeseen turn on the eve of a grand wedding night. Princess Jaelyn, cursed and hidden away within the confines of Malavon Castle, was the unwilling pawn in a malevolent game of power. Her name, synonymous with evil, and her every step marked by the devil's touch. However, as she stepped into the grand hall to meet her monstrous groom, a man emerged before her, shattering the grotesque image painted by gossip. King Jetaime stood not as the rumored monster, but as a vision of unexpected sweetness, love, and undeniable handsomeness. As King Jetaime and Princess Jaelyn embarked on their tumultuous journey, the chessboard of power and revenge unfolded. Locked in a dance of secrets and hidden motives, the two found themselves entangled in a love that defied the expectations set by the world. Together, they navigated the treacherous waters of courtly politics, facing a power struggle fueled by conspiracies that threatened to tear them apart. In the battle between love and destiny, the question lingered like an ethereal mist — was their connection a mere human maneuver or a divinely fated love? As the story unfolded, the narrative wove a tapestry of twists and turns, challenging the very essence of their existence. Could love truly conquer all things, or were some cases destined to be eternally hopeless? Two empty hearts, two lives devoid of love, collided in a dance of darkness and light. A monster king and an evil queen united to become one, their journey unfurling like a forbidden scroll. The world watched with bated breath as the saga unfolded — a tale of love, betrayal, and the relentless pursuit of a destiny that defied the predetermined life. Cover by Java graphics.
Lyn is left alone in her chamber. "How do you want to be tortured?" "come on, don't get scared. I'm just getting started," she smirks stabbing the bed with all her strength. "Wait, does it hurt? Poor thing, believe me, it's going to hurt even more because I am not done yet." She moves to the other side, moving close to the pillow.
"How dare you try to touch me, some nerve you have. Jerks like you I hate the most. I'm going to tear you up limp by limp and fed you to the pigs! Because you are worse than them!" she yells stabbing the pillow several times with all her strength. Remembering what they did to her.
"Royal princess! Are you there? I brought you cookies, you don't have to hide I'm not going to hurt you," Lyn had whispered while approaching the old private quarters belonging to the former king. Suddenly someone covers her mouth and drags her forcefully. She struggles to free herself but suddenly went unconscious. She wakes up in a strange chamber
"Hello sweetheart, you are already up, let's have some fun shall we? It's just you and me," he said trying to touch her.
"Don't you dare, you moron!" Lyn yells biting his finger that was running across her face. "Wow aggressive and fancy, I like that," he smirks pulling his hand away. "I can see you are entering our dear queen, Dewey," a female voice said walking close to them.
"Yes, Mother but I need more time to crack this one," he jokes. "Step back Dewey," she commended facing her Lyn. She was sure she was going to die but she didn't care to show her face. "you are going to die and no one is going to save you. Not the king or even your maids," she said proudly as Lyn looks at her angrily.
"I'm sure you regret going up against me, I am the queen of this land and my reign is not over but instead it now starting," she laughs clapping her hands. Lyn try to free herself but was tied up and couldn't grab her hair as she badly wanted to.
"What is your last request? Because you are going to die alone. Here in this place," she said to her confidently as her two sons smiles. Lyn stares at her, she wasn't scared even in the face of death. With her life and kind of fate she was starting to change, there was no way she could go down that easily.
"What happen now are you scared? Did you lose your tongue?" She mocks her, "I will love to stay here and chit-chat with you during your last days but that's a privilege you don't have my dear. But I have some friends of mine that will love to accompany you to the afterlife," she stated laughing. So did her two sons and maid. Lyn wishes she could wipe the stupid smile off their faces
They release a couple of rats that were crawling toward her, she was so scared that she forces to untie herself, "Goodbye my queen, when you meet the old queen send my regards to her," she laughs as the four them walks out of the chamber and locks the door.
Lyn hurriedly untied herself but it was too late, smoke started crawling out and suddenly it forms a huge flame, the room was on fire and the mice had cornered her into a small corner that she didn't dare to move.
"Die! Die!! Die!!!" Lyn yells stabbing the pillow continuously, she was out of control. The crown on her head fell and scattered on the floor yet she didn't bother to look at it. She continues to let out all her anger and frustration on everything she laid her hands on. She had turned the room upside down in a heat of rage.
Jetaime walks in and froze at what he saw, Lyn was stabbing the pillow continuously and didn't even realize she had cut herself. All she wanted was revenge. He rushed to her side to stop her, and that was when Lyn swings her hand subconsciously and cut Jetaime's mask.
"Oh no! I'm dead," Lyn quickly let go of the dagger in her hand and admire the mess she had created in shock as if she just landed from space.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Please don't kill me. I'm sorry. Sorry. Sorry," Lyn apologized shutting her eyes close tight and with her hands chip together in front of her.
"It's fine, I'm okay. See for yourself. You just ruin my mask," Jetaime said taking off his mask that was already coming off. Lyn opens one eye slowly and opens the other one when she realized there was no cut mark on his face. He was fast. He moves back speedily so it only touches the mask.
"Are you sure you are, okay?" Lyn asked in a soft sweet voice staring at his handsome face, his blue eyes that keeps luring her in.
"Yes I'm fine, but I can't say the same for you," he said blowing the mess on the table away so he can set his mask on it then run his hand through his hair looking like a handsome idol.
"Uh,"
Lyn felt embarrassed and tried to clean up the mess she created. "Leave it. Come here," Jetaime led her to sit beside the bed, he takes a strand of hair off her face and tugs it behind her eyes while they exchange loving eye contact.
"Stay here," Jetaime said and walks to the side drawer and brought out a first aid box. He sits beside her and takes her hand in his.
"It's seen I need to put first aid boxes in every corner of the palace since hurting yourself has become a habit," Jetaime said attending to her cut. He disinfects it making Lyn clinch her teeth. He stares at her with the corner of his eye and blows air on it. Lyn was completely lost in his eyes.
"Who made you so mad? You didn't have to let it out on the pillows," Jetaime hissed once he was done dressing the cut on her hand. Lyn was brought back to reality and quickly pulls her hands away wiping the smile off her face.
"No one," Lyn replied sharply shifting away from him. "Are you sure? I'm right here you can let out your anger on me," he teases her. Lyn chuckles and stood up on her feet.
"Today is your nuptial night with Princess Asa why are you here?" Lyn questioned even though she tried she couldn't hide her jealousy. Jetaime saw right through her and played along with it.
"Yes, but I want to be here. By the way, you sounded jealous," He teased her as a soft smile appeared at the corner of his lip.
"Me jealous. Shss. Why should I? You can be with Princess Asa, Princess Aya, or Princess Mica. Or even all three of them I don't care," Lyn stated looking right into his eyes.
"But your eyes say otherwise and like you said I can be with anyone of them so I choose to be here," He teases her again, he couldn't hold back his smiles anymore watching Lyn's cute reaction.
"Why here? Besides the room is a mess. You should go. I will have them fix the room," Lyn said now in a soft tone. "It's fine. We can all stay in it and don't worry I ordered them not to come in under no circumstance. And also you broke my mask remember? I can't go out looking this handsome," Jetaime said with a smile holding Lyn's hand.
