81 CHAPTER - 31 { Alice, The Wonder Girl Part-1 }

Boom!

The ground was split open, Mega Charizard laid there with it facing towards Mega Garchomp.

Puff!

The dark blue extinguished and Mega Charizard returned to his normal form with many injuries and open wounds.

"Mega Garchomp won the battle! Cynthia will proceed to the next round!"

Professor Riccky held a whistle as he announced the end of the battle between Alain and Cynthia.

"Next, we have Kota and Alder! Get to your sides!"

He shouted while waving his hands. Alder walked to one side of the battlefield then looked towards the direction of Kota.

Step.

Step.

His eyes covered by his long black hair, his tightened jaw and with calm breathing, Kota arrived opposite Alder.

"Come on, call out your pokemon!"

Asked Riccky with an excited smile. So far Kota showed the best performance when it came to battling.

And Alder was also pretty good. There was the type advantage for Kota, still he was expecting some good exchange of moves.

"Kota, good luck! And I don't need it. Cause I am about to beat you!"

Grinned Alder as he threw a pokeball in the air which shot a beam of white flash.

Then, a huge red colored bug pokemon showed itself to everyone. Volcarona, hovered above the ground and radiated intense heat.

"Mega Evolve, Volcarona!"

With his shout, Volcarona emitted even more heat and its body started glowing red.

After the transformation, Volcarona's size doubled and its wings expanded further.

"Gege…"

Sudden laughter echoed in the battlefield. A shadow slid on the ground and came on Kota's side.

"Mega Evolve."

Said Kota in a low voice. The shadow beside him shook violently then with ripples on the ground, Mega Gengar rose up.

His bloody third eye was open and staring at Volcarona with an unjustified hunger.

As the two pokemon got on their positions, Riccky raised his hand then brought it down: "Fight!"

"Gege Gengar!"

Volcarona stared at the disappearing figure of Gengar, just as if he was never there to begin with.

'Careful! He can be anywhere, Volcarona!'

Alder shouted in his mind and warned Volcarona about the shadows. It wasn't news that Gengar had the ability to travel through shadows and dimensions after Mega Evolution.

Boom!

Boom!

Even before anyone could comprehend what happened. Volcarona was stuck in a string of explosions and got knocked out.

"Gengar!"

As he showed himself, Gengar grinned and eyed Volcarona. He had conjured more than fifty Shadow Balls in total and blasted them at Volcarona in one moment.

It's only possible because of his third eye which now had closed due to exhaustion of stored energy.

"Mega Gengar has won! Kota will proceed to the next round!"

After coming back to his senses from shock, Riccky quickly announced then called the medic.

"Such swiftness! Won't it mean that ghost type pokemon are invincible after Mega Evolution?"

Professor Sycamore exclaimed. His face red from over thinking of many possibilities.

'What about dark type pokemon? There's also dragon type and fairy type.'

Thought Sycamore. He wrote some information on his notepad then went to Kota to ask a few questions.

Steven barely won against Alice then entered the next round. Now, with another draw.

It was decided that Cynthia and Steven will fight while the winner goes against Kota at last.

"Hi."

While Kota was silently seated on the bench, Alice approached him with an awkward smile.

"We never talked. Nice to meet you. Kota, not to be rude, what's your secret?"

She asked as he sat down beside him on the bench swiftly. Kota was stuck at her question, turning to look at her, he saw a boundless blue sea, her eyes.

It was almost impossible to guess what she was holding on to behind her gorgeous face.

"Secret?"

"Yes, your secret. I mean your secret training method to make your pokemon become so strong?"

She said straightforwardly. The red light in Kota's dark eyes dimmed when he heard her.

"I don't have one."

He replied, shifting his head back on the battlefield he watched the battle between Cynthia and Steven.

"Fine… I know your mother. She was the one who recommended me here."

Alice swinging her legs, said in a low voice heard only by Kota. She didn't particularly look excited like the rest of the trainers.

It was as if she was here on a mission just like Kota, a mission important for the future.

Kota raised his head, then with the corner of his eye, he once again scanned her from head to toe.

Remarkable beauty, no less than Cynthia. Even more was that Alice had a fuller body almost being perfect to be called voluptuous.

She had matured and appeared intellectual but with the hints of playfulness and childishness. Of course all these were from all Kota saw and observed.

She could also have a different hidden character.

"Why have you come here to talk to me?"

Unable to stand it, Kota asked. His face is completely visible and inches away from her face. His abyss-like eyes stared deep in her.

Alice was stunned, dumbfounded, surprised, shocked and many more. She could feel his and her own slow breathing.

"I-I, I don't get what you're saying?"

"Who sent you?"

Asked Kota again. Alice was left with a gaping mouth and no words to describe, her mind was jumbled.

"Your mom!"

The words came out of her mouth, it was like the bullet of a gun, once out, always out.

Surprised by herself and her lose mouth, she moved her hands and covered her mouth with a nervous look on her face.

"So that's it. Why did she send you to me? Just to talk?"

Kota turned away from her and focused back on the battle. Mega Garchomp had taken the upper hand and Mega Metagross was almost fully exhausted.

"You foolish, stupid girl!"

"What?"

"No no not you! I was talking to myself!"

Alice gave an awkward smile then cleared her throat before talking to Kota.

"You always stay alone so your mother thought that maybe you were lonely and nobody wants to be with so she sent me to give you company."

Her face expressed that she wasn't lying and really wanted to help him. Unfortunately, Kota wasn't in need of anyone.

"I am not lonely. It's better if you stay away from me and don't relate."

"Why so?"

"... You will die."

Finishing what he had to say, Kota got up from the bench and walked away from Alice.

Staring at his leaving figure, Alice sighed and brought her right hand on her chest.

Her face turned sad. Alice then headed towards her room with her shoulders down.

Outside the practical field stadium building, three black armored heavy duty cars parked.

Clank!

The doors opened and fifteen individuals in green-army suits came out with military vests and devices.

Seven women and eight men. The ones leading this group of individuals were the tall and sexy woman, and the feminine looking man with long purple hair.

"Jenny, is this the location? Why are we in W.P.R. Institution?"

Qeen asked as he applied some lotion on his dry cheeks. Jenny massaged her forehead in frustration.

"Don't ask me, ask the boss! He gave us the coordinates, and we came."

Answered Jenny. She signaled the other members to quickly get to their work.

These men and women immediately took out multiple large pieces of equipment from the cars and assembled them.

"And you all remember this in your mind! Nobody kills anyone!"

Jenny cleared beforehand. Everyone nodded their heads then got back to their work.

"Jenny, why does the boss want us to get some stones from this place?"

"How would I know about it? We aren't Executives yet. Once I become an Executive, I will bathe in money!"

Jenny's eyes shined brightly at the thought. Qeen shook his head, slapping Jenny out of her fantasies, he told her to prepare.

The final equipment was screwed in, then the machine formed, was fixed at the wall of the practical field wall.

All the members gripped their new modified stun rifles, and surrounded the machine.

Jenny took a deep breath, then looked at everyone before pressing a button on the machine.

Tu…Tu…

With a mechanical ringing, the sharp head of the machine dug in the wall and planted some small bombs.
