CHAPTER - 2 { New Pokemon }

Afternoon___

Kota stood in front of a very huge boulder, beside him was Charmander.

"I want you to melt this boulder, doesn't matter how long it takes, " Said Kota as he pointed towards the boulder while looking at the little Charmander.

"Charr!".

Moving, Charmander came forward and stood in front of the boulder.

Opening his mouth, Charmander released red hot embers on the bolder.

"Don't stop until it's melted, " Said Kota, who then walked towards the lake where his Magikarp was swimming.

'I need Gyarados, ' Thought Kota while reaching the camp and seeing Magikarp.

"Come here, " Waving his hand, Kota called Magikap towards him.

"Bite it, " Putting a rope on Magikarp's mouth, Kota told him to bite it.

Then he tied the other side of the rope to a thin tree but it was definitely rooted tightly.

"Until you pull the entire tree off the ground, no rest, " Said Kota while he stared at the big eyes of Magikarp.

"Magikkarp".

Magikarp flexed his body and tail in the water. With full strength, Magikarp started pulling the tree.

Seeing this, Kota nodded his head and went into the forest to find his next pokemon.

On the way, he saw varieties of pokemons. From small bugs to big birds.

That was it when Kota saw a bird sitting on a tree branch not far from him.

It was about 30 centimeters in height, with red coloured wings and light brown body.

Its head feathers were spikey and it looked quite intimidating in nature.

Spearow, normal/flying-type pokemon. Also known for being very furious and hard to train.

'First one, there should be more of them here, ' Thought Kota as he turned his head and searched around the tree branches.

Not long after he roamed, Kota saw many Spearows and Pidgeys.

But as is their nature, both bird pokemons were divided by their own areas.

None of them want to fight against each other, or it was because of the fights that they separated.

"I will come back after Charmander finishes his task, " Muttered Kota, he returned back to the camp and saw Magikarp still pulling the tree.

Hours later___

The sun was about to set, the mountains blocked the sunlight which made the forest in shadows.

"Charr! Charrmanderr!".

Charmander came walking towards the camp from the bushes.

He looked really tired and weak, Kota was really happy from the inside.

"You completed? Very good, " Said Kota while he went inside the tent and brought back pokemon food.

"Charr!".

While Charmander ate his food, he also called Kota to look at him in an excited voice.

"What?, " Asked Kota as he looked at Charmander with confusion clearly visible.

"Charmander!".

Flames erupted from Charmander's mouth, it was like a fire gun.

Flamethrower!

"You actually learned it that fast?, " Said Kota as he looked at the happy Charmander who ate his pokemon food.

'Using the ember move so much led him to learn flamethrower, ' That was the conclusion which Kota came to after thinking for so long.

As Charmander finished his food, he sat on the ground lazily and his eyelids were closing continuously.

"Get a good rest, " Pulling the pokeball, Kota called Charmander back inside it.

*Splash!*

In the lake, Magikarp was still doing his best to pull the tree but he became slow and tired.

"That's enough, it will be useless to outdo your own body, " Said Kota, he looked at Magikarp and called him back in as well.

The fire that Kota lit was about to go out, he pushed some more dry sticks in the fire.

"There really is meat in this world, " Said Kota while taking out a piece of meat and roasting it on the fire.

There's a special tree called the tree of meat, it produces some very big fruits which look like a ball of raw meat.

They also taste like meat, there are many varieties of such trees but they need special care to grow.

So, they can only be farmed and not found in forests.

After everything was over, Kota went into the tent to spend his first night in a forest as a Pokemon Trainer.

Behind a tree, two figures crouched down and hid to not catch the attention of any pokemon.

One was about 65 centimeters in height while the other was 164 centimeters in height.

"Charmander, I want you to fry it using your flamethrower, " Said Kota while he gazed at the bird just next to the tree they hid.

A Spearow, but not normal. Because it's size was really big, it should be about 50 centimeters in height.

This Spearow was spotted by Kota in the morning while he searched for their nest.

After following it for the whole morning, it finally decided to step on the ground.

"Charr!, " Replied Charmander in a very low voice trying to not expose their location to the Spearow.

With a fast and long leap, Charmander came about 3 meters away from the big Spearow.

"Chaaaa!".

A burst of flames was released by Charmander towards Spearow.

Surprised by the sudden pokemon and its attack, Spearow was not ready to dodge it.

"Speaaa!!".

A cry sounded in the hot flames, the big Spearow was burned by Charmander's flamethrower.

"Chaa! Charmander".

Stopping the flamethrower, Charmander walked towards the injured and unconscious Spearow.

"Good, " Praised Kota, he pulled a pokeball from his waist belt and touched it on the Spearow.

*Ting!*

"I caught it!, " Kota then immediately ran towards the camp and called Spearow out of its pokeball.

Treating his injuries, Kota waited for the Spearow to wake up and take further action.

*Splash!*

In the lake, Magikarp was still pulling the tree with all his strength like yesterday.

Today he seemed to become more energetic and confident.

"Magikarpp!".

Turning towards the shout, Kota looked at his Magikarp to see it shining in bright light.

"It's evolving!, " Said Kota, he stepped near the lake and watched Magikarp evolve together with Charmander.
