1 Prologue

The human race was always at the top of the evolution chain, due to their ability to adapt. By far they were the most adaptable kind; from just some cells, they became fishes, lizard, simians and their last form, the homo sapiens.

A few weren't good enough to spread their genes, and those lineage died in the evolution process, others could do it, and now they are in the last form, human being.

10 trillion, that's the number of human beings across the worlds we are able to colonize, we are not even counting the extraterrestrial species. Although some of those planets were in peace with us, they taught us things we could never imagine being real.

One of them is that Gods are real, they were alive in the past, some still are, living in the end of the world, a place where no human has ever touched or dreamed about it.

After the first extinction, that happened because of a fight between two Gods, the others and minors one had to repopulate Earth, due to their fighting, every life on earth was killed.

The first extinction day

A monkey rode his cloud through the sky, it was a puff and white one. His fur was black, and his eyes were a light tone of blue. His chest was naked, no armor to protect him, only fur. In the lower party, he was wearing some cloth that looked like a lot of shorts, although it wasn't shorts itself. As many of the same species, he was barefoot.

But something was off, his face was darkened and in his furless hands, he was holding a staff, over his crossed legs. His eyes were sharp.

After a long travel, he arrived at the end of the world, a huge palace hidden in the dark side of the moon. The walls were white, while the pilasters were made of pure gold. Some statues were there as well, they were made of a lot of kinds of precious stones, like crystals, rubies, and there was the statue of a man, made of jade.

The palace was full of people, some aliens were there as well, blue, red, purple, they were in all colors and shapes.

They were Gods.

At the end of the hall, there was a man sitting on his throne, a green dragon was by his side, laying on the corner.

"BOOOOM!"

The door exploded and guards flew from the outside, while flying around, made some white walls, red. They were beautiful now.

On the floor the guards were dead, only one was alive, the one that landed near the man on the throne, he then quickly spoke.

"Your royal majesty…we have an intruder…"

After that the man sat on the throne just looked at him and with a single move of his index finger, the guard was dead. The blood smell woke up the dragon, quickly he went near to the guard and using its tongue he raised the man and ate him, in a single bite.

Walking through where the door should be, a monkey with some human traces walked in, holding his staff with his right hand.

"Oh, you are going to perform for us?" A skinny and tall man talked from afar while drinking. He was with a smile on his face, but not for long.

After a single movement from the monkey, a wind slash went towards the man.

"How dare you?!" the man spoke. He rose his hand in front of him to block the attack, although it failed, the wind slash went through him, cutting him in half. Each half fell on the floor.

After the attack, the monkey wasn't even looking at the man, he knew his attack was strong enough so he watched the man on the throne.

"Jade Emperor, I'm here for revenge."

"Sun Wukong, right? The one that pledged for godhood…I gave you, why are you here?"

The others gods chuckled.

"Taking care of stables…that doesn't need a god for. But I'm not here because of it, I'm here because you killed my friends." His face was rigid while holding the staff and shaking, he was angry.

"I didn't kill them, they aren't even worth it, although the order was mine." Said the Jade Emperor with a smile on his face.

"They aren't worthy?!" Sun Wukong screamed.

Quickly he rose his staff over his head and spun it, wind slashes flew towards every god in the room. Some were killed right away, others dodged it pretty easily, and other just blocked the attack with their powers.

The Jade Emperor yawned, and the attack was blocked.

With a smile on his face, Sun Wukong jumped towards the Jade Emperor, it was easy jumping a hundred meters since he could jump kilometers.

"He will die." A blind woman spoke.

When the others gods heard her, they all smiled. They knew it would happen, but the affirmation made by this woman was enough to make them really happy. They knew she could see the future.

After 2 seconds, he was facing the Jade Emperor and swung down his staff. The Jade Emperor looked at him, with fierce eyes.

"He noticed…"

The jade emperor grabbed the staff and out of the sudden, a smile was on Sun Wukong's face.

"Weight limit, off!"

The staff suddenly became heavier, to be precise, now it was weighing 8 tons. The staff due to its weight went to the floor. Carrying down the Jade Emperor. Sun Wukong screamed once again.

"Expand!"

The staff now in length it was 1 kilometer, quickly he swung the staff to his side, and destroyed some parts of the palace.

From the hole where the Jade Emperor's body should be, he rose flying, with his hair all messed up and his skin full of dirty. His clothes were dirty as well.

He spat blood and only one thinking was in everybody's' mind.

"He made him bleed!" they thought.

It was a little bit, but it was enough to make the others look at him in a different way because they never could do that. Everyone who tried died in the process and couldn't achieve this goal.

100% dead. They knew this would be the result of his attack.

"Little monkey, I'm not on top just because of looks…" The Jade Emperor spoke.

The gravity around Sun Wukong increased and a lot of cracks appeared under his feet. Wukong's teeth were strongly pressed against each other, the amount of gravity was insane, the floor where he was became a crater of ten meters in length.

"Kneel." The Jade Emperor spoke.

"I…refuse."

"Kneel!" The pressure from before doubled, and Sun Wukong went low in the floor, although he was still up.

"I…"

A bust came from the Jade Emperor, the gravity tripled. Sun Wukong spat blood, and after losing his coolness he was grounded to the floor. In a sudden attempt to kill the Jade Emperor, he let go of all his fur, making them his clones and those clones transformed into other animals.

They charged towards the Jade Emperor but unfortunately were stopped by the Jade Emperor. He closed his hand and all the clones disappeared, in thin air. From his finger, a fire beam appeared and went through Sun Wukong's chest.

"Someday…somehow…I'll have my revenge." Sun Wukong spat blood, for the last time.

The Jade Emperor just look at the dead monkey. He grabbed Sun Wukong's body, went outside the castle and threw the body towards earth. The strength used by the Jade Emperor, plus the gravity, the place where the body landed and the staff's actual weight, was enough to wipe out the living.

"All of you there." The Jade Emperor pointed out.

"Yes, your royal majesty."

"Spread life down there again, and give them cultivation as well, I want to see how far those servants can go, maybe with this, in a few centuries we will have more fun." He smiled and went back to his throne.

"Yes, your royal majesty," they said together.

"Masters, heroes, sects, cultivation…that's enough." The blind woman spoke.

"Don't forget monsters." Said someone from afar.

"but…they won't be able to endure…" she said with a low voice, trying to reply.

"Do it." The Jade Emperor spoke with a smile on his face.

A smile appeared on the blind woman's face, but nobody could see, because she was covering her mouth.

"Yes, your royal majesty."

After that, the evolution circle began once again, and once again mankind was the most evolved, but now, they had a bonus. It's wasn't just because of the thumb finger we succeed, or the intelligence, it was also because we had cultivation.
