Chapter 1: New Life

"What... ahh ... where am I, what is this place?"

A sudden jolt of pain rushed into my head, as if I was slammed by a baseball bat however it was bearable. My vision was somehow blurry, adjusting to the scene in front of me, I saw people dressed in black robes, murmuring something I don't understand. The place was as if it was a gigantic cave, four columns supported the place and each column held torches that lit up the surrounding.

As I fully gained myself from the pain, I found myself lying in the middle of the people in black. Suddenly a warm hand suddenly touches my left hand, such warm that even in this strange place and these strange people I am in, I can find comfort but I could feel a liquid substance dripping from the hand that touched me, it was blood. I feel my inwards churned, my heart beating so loud as if any moment it will burst out, breathing became stagnant as I fully recognized the hands that touched mine, it was my WIFE!!! wrapped in her arm was our child both of them lying in a pool of their own blood.

No!!! no... no... Dianna, baby, no..."

Flood of tears flows in my eyes as I saw my wife and my child lying there. I got up with gritted teeth, I feel pain in my whole body as I suddenly rose up but nothing can't stop me from approaching my family. I wrapped my hands around them, begging...

"Please baby don't... help us, please help us... my daughter, my wife, my unborn child, please help them!!! oh, God please..."

I wailed, I pleaded, that these people will help us but no one even approaches us, as if they do not see our situation. They murmured still... no one even dare to look at us.

"Baby..." a soft but pained voice I hear, it was Dianna.

"Bell... she is already sleeping, you might wake her up." Dianna displayed a pained smile.

"I'm so sorry... I don't know what's happening... our daughter, she is..."I said

"Danny, look at me..." as she touched my face "our daughter is asleep, but don't worry... I'll be with her... don't come so soon... live." Dianna said.

"No, Baby, please don't leave me here..." as my tears flow unstoppably, her hand dropped from my face, and was asleep.

Hahaha ... no..." a pained laughter came out from my mouth. Dianna, Bell and our unborn child died. My world crumbled, I lost everything, my everything. As if the whole world was crushing my entire being, I was loosing my self. I wailed

Then a figure moved into the scene, a strong vibration was felt on the whole gigantic cave as if the very air was trembling as the figure gracefully walked towards where the people in black robes were. The people in the cave suddenly kneeled down. There were about twenty persons in the place excluding the figure that just got in.

Failure or Success?" the Figure spoke.

"My Lord, a failure... we thought that the woman had it. It might be during the teleportation, it slip away."

One of the Man in black robes answered

"Oh, that ruby is difficult to find, once the vessel is weak during the teleportation it can slip away, but how about those two?" The Figure ask

"Yes my lord, they were somehow near the woman when we began the teleportation ritual, somehow they came along during the process." One of the Man in black robes answered.

"I see, I'll report this to his Eminence, but beware Hovemn, I cannot assure you that your head will remain intact if another failure will be your answer." the figure warned.

"Yes... mercy my lord, I'll do my utmost best to ensure success, I'll find the Ruby" Hovemn answered

As the figure walks away, he glances once again to the place where the man embracing a dead body of a woman and a child were.

"Hovemn, clean the evidence" the figure spoke

"Yes, lord Mavin" Hovemn answered.

Five individuals carried the man and the bodies away. The man struggled but in vain. They were brought to the outside of the gigantic cave. The cave was located upon the peak of a mountain called Mors. thousands of feet below was known as a habitat of hundreds if not thousands of deadly beasts.

"Hahaa, such a waste this woman is a beauty."

"Hoho, do you want to play with this dead body ?"

"Stop it, just follow what the elder commanded."

"Don't be stingy, haha"

One of the men lusciously holds his wife's body. As they forcefully separated him from them.

"No... you fuck*ng dog! do not touch my wife!!! "

"Haha... shut up! you don't even have the strength to pull a punch. Do you think your crying will do anything! hahah"

The four individuals have their way into his wife's dead body. Danny was wailing, crying and begging them to stop as if his suffering earlier when his family died in his arms was not enough. He was pinned down by one of the men.

Please stop it... Dianna!!!.. ahhh, no!!!"

One by one, they have their way into my wife. At that very moment all my emotions became numb. Only one thing was on my mind. I'll kill them all! all of them! even the one who brought us here. I'll exact my revenge upon them. NO ONE WILL BE LEFT ALIVE!

I lose every reasoning I had on that very moment, my heart can't bear it anymore.

As all the acts were finished, they throw the body of my daughter, my wife and lastly mine.

"Hahaha, such a good time. Pity for them, they were caught with this ruby thing. Why do they want it anyway?"

"I heard from one of the elders , that ruby holds the power to revive something or someone.."

" Hahaha, I see so they are already moving the plan."

"We'll see what the world will become."

Danny's POV:

"Hon, you should wake up now..." -

"Hehe, Dianna five more minutes...please"

" Daddy, you'll be late on your work..."

"Haha, yes.. yes... I'll wake up now my princess"

As I opened my eyes and saw my two angels, suddenly tears flowd in my eyes and such joy and comfort soothed my heart.

"Daddy why are you crying? are you hurt somewhere?" Bell ask

" It's nothing Bell, Daddy is just happy we are all here and of course your baby brother or sister in your mom's tummy hehe."

Suddenly they both hug me tightly, such warm and comfort that no one can give except my family.

"I love you so much my three angels."

"I love you too Daddy."

"I love you so much too Hon."

Dianna, suddenly kissed me and looked at me with teary eyes and said

"Hon, wherever you are, whatever situation you'll be in, always remember that we are here, always be here. live and move forward okey? and do not be blinded with revenge. Live a life that we will be proud of. I love you so much."

The both of them smiled warmly as they look at me. I can't ask for more.

"Daddy, you should wake up now."

"Mother, brother is awake."

"Yes, yes my child your brother is awake, Thank you Sir Port for healing my son..."

Merlin sat beside the boy whose visage is like eight years old. The boy was full of bondages in his body. Unable to move a lying down on the bed.

"Tristan, my child are you alright now? Mother is here you're not alone anymore." as she holds the boy, Tristan's hand and sobbing.

"Dianna? ... Bell?... where are you? ... where, where am I? It hurts..."
