Here goes nothing

I sat still for the past 30 minutes. Our parents decided for us to sit together so we can be friends, like close friends. I glance at the parents and hear they chatted leisurely. While me, I’ve been stuck sitting in between Kyle and Daniel.

How great is that?

I sipped my champagne. "Rose, how’s your career doing?" I looked at Hailey and smile. "It’s doing great. I’ve been busy with a lot of photo shoot and fashion show lately"

"It sounds fun. Daniel talked a lot about you since the two of you met in Italy"

"Mom"

"What? I’m just telling Rose the truth"

"Good ones I hope"

"You have no idea. He talked about when he dropped off to your place and the two of you spend time together" Daniel cough beside me. "Okay mom, that’s enough" I chuckled seeing Daniel looking embarrassed by her mom bragging things about him.
