Alucard's POV

Oh gord, what am I? An idiot!? Why the hell did I just ask her... Oh no, she must be thinking that I'm just doing this to date her. I should clear things up as soon as this is done.

...

The rest of the day went on and we were fixing our stuff so we could head back. I stopped Ruby before going by saying "Ms. Braveheart" and she turned to me and I was out of breath.

Isn't she beautiful? I gulped and just stared at her until reality hit me. "Thank you" I managed to say and she smiled at me and replied "No problem" and leaves.

When I walked home, I had this feeling in my chest. I didn't know what it was, nor was I hating it.

The next day comes and I was awoken by the familiar noise I actually have loved. I groaned, standing up and walking to the living room. "Granger, when did you come here?" And he turned to me.

"Johnson came home late and I just let myself in" he said. "You had a call from the Human Resources Management"

I walked to the mini bar and grabbed a cup of cold coffee and asked "What did they say?"

He rolled his eyes. "How am I supposed to know? Ask your assistant" I rose and eyebrow at him.

I sighed and drank my coffee and then get myself ready for the 1v1 of the century. "Good luck out there old man" He chuckled.

"Oh I will be young lad, little sonny" I mimicked an old man's voice. And heard a "You sound like a pirate!!" Coming out of Johnson's big mouth while I went off.

Third Person's POV

"You really think his lawyer is the one?" Granger chuckles as soon as Alucard left.

Johnson gave a nod as a response and said "He doesn't look like Alucard, he looks like Mr. Hunter" and roared his engines a bit.

Granger clicks his tongue. "I'm not so sure about that. He was so into playing with his assistant a month ago" he said.

"Well that was a month ago. This.. this is now. And I'm telling you, he likes his lawyer" Johnson snapped, he knows his friend like the back of his hand. And he thinks Granger is just a man Alucard would just be acquaintances with.

Certainly not friends.

Granger packed his violin as soon as he got a message. "I'll check on this lawyer and Alucard later. Right now, I have a group of thieves to kill" he said and put back his phone, grabbing his gun and left.

Meanwhile, at the Court, Hilda, the Elvin News Reporter came and was giving a report about the 'Court Of Custom's Ultimate 1v1 Battle'

"Lunox, the Judge is—" she stops and looks at Lunox. "Wow girl, you are pretty! Did you do your hair? Wow it's gorgeous! Do you think I could color mine too? Maybe Gray?"

And of course, Lunox was really pissed at her. She snapped and said "Why don't you grab your muscles and turn back into a girl?" And continued to mind her own business.

"Why don't you grow up and stop doing that Cruella De Vil thing going on, alright?" She says and mutters inappropriate words while leaving.

Yup, normal day in the Land Of Dawn.

As soon as the battle was finished. Everyone was still high spirited. Yet an area in the Court was so dull no one was in it. No one except Granger.

"Well would you look at that! You do like her don't you?" And pauses. "I am playing another sonata for their blossoming love!!" Turns out he was about to be hit by a ball by Kimmy.

She had come since her father has been in contact with both Alucard and Ruby at all times. "Good, won't want to ruin your beautiful sonata now" She muttered and left.

Granger chuckled when she left. "She is a beautiful sonata" he said while staring at Kimmy as she left.

Before Ruby and Alucard left the Court, they were picking up more evidence that they have on Fanny. Alucard's personal encounters and the usual.

Ruby licked her lips "Can we grab a snack at the Shop? Or at least the Equipment?" She asked and Alucard nodded. "I will not destroy people in an empty stomach" and chuckled.

Alucard had taken out a Disposable Car from his pocket and drove Ruby to the Equipment restau. "Ruby, do you think you wanna eat in there or just order take out?" Alucard asked.

She took her time when finding a good answer. Usually, on these situations, she's finished by now. Yet somehow nothing made her make a choice. So she kept thinking.
