4 Chapter Three

I just woke up suddenly. Why does it still seem dark? I looked at the clock on my side table. Four in the morning, I breathe deeply. At the condo, I only have fifteen minutes or ten minutes, in advance to my alarm. But now, one hour. I can’t sleep anymore so I just went down.

When I got down, I went straight to the kitchen. Someone is there? Nanny woke up too early this morning.

“You’re too early, Nanny,” I said as I sat down at the kitchen counter.

“Oh, you’re awake. Good morning.”

“Oh, Alexis.” It turned out to be Alexis. I thought she’s Nanny. I rubbed my eyes when I sat down, so I did not see who is in here.

“You wake up too early?” I asked.

“I’m used to it, and then I know you will wake up early.” She replied.

Alexis Lissandra Santos. My mother and her mother are best friends, but her mother chose to serve us. I’m a year older than her but we treat each other like a real sibling. Even though I was in Japan, she was also there. She knows everything about me, all of it. She’s my shoulder to cry on, my living diary.

“How’s your first day, big sister?” Alexis asked.

“First day? It’s okay. Boring.” I said coldly.

“It’s obvious, sister. How about new classmates?”

“They are all high society people. They all pass the school requirements.” I answer.

I recounted everything that happened at school yesterday. From the woman I blocked until the argument? I’m not sure, Jenthrix and I. until Jenthrix threatened me.

“Really? You shut the woman up, I mean, you talked back at her?”

“Yup, and beside it is a school property,” I answered while eating Alexis’ cooked food.

“They don’t know who they are colliding with. So what’s your plan for today?”

“My plan for today? For what?” I asked her.

“Didn’t you say that Jenthrix threatened you that you will be a dead meat today?” oh, of course. She has a point.

“Maybe, nothing for now. I’ll let him go first.”

“Okay.”

Then we talked more. When it was five am, I took a shower and got ready for going to school. I quickly finished fixing myself. Quarter to six, I called Tito Luis to fetch me. I arrived at school in just thirty minutes. There are not too many people yet. It’s still early, seven am is the start of the classes. I was walking to my room, and no one is there yet. Maybe there is, just go out, but maybe not coming. I immediately went straight to my seat.

I immediately took my cell phone because someone called. It’s good that my cell phone is always in my pocket. It’s good that it didn’t fall out of my pocket, our skirt pocket is still a bit shallow.

I need to do something about this uniform. I feel uncomfortable when I wear it. I do not know if the shape of the skirt of the women here at university is that short?

I immediately answered the call when I got the phone. I didn’t know that someone is calling.

“Hello?” I lazily answer.

(Hello, Miss Harakazumi.)

“What’s up?” I asked.

(What you told me to do a few days ago is already finished. They will use the new room. So, you will use the old room.)

“Is that so? All right, thank you.”

(Do you have anything else to order?)

“Yes, bring all the documents and all the paper works that I need. That’s all. All right.”

(Okay.)

It’s good that it’s fixed. Michelle always saves me. She always deals with the businessmen who want to join my company. I own a well-known company in the whole wide world and no one knows that I’m the owner of that company.

I close my eyes and bow my head to my arms, I also felt drowsy because I woke up early. This is probably what they call the body clock. I also used this time to think.

I was about to close my eyes when I felt someone standing around my seat. I felt it first, before I stand up.

I was about to raise my head when suddenly, someone poured cold water on me. I woke up in no time. Shocked! What is their problem?

“Rise and shine.” The girl who poured it on me is the one who talks first. How did I find out? She is still holding the bucket. I looked at them badly and stood up.

“Why did you do that?!” I asked angrily, I do not care if my voice is loud. She still could not answer so I ask her again.

“And who ordered you?!” I can see in my peripheral view the three men especially that Jenthrix with a smile on his face. I did not wait for her response and I averted my gaze to those three bastards especially on Jenthrix.

“You?! You ordered them?!” I asked angrily.

“Yes, do you have a problem with that?” he answered boldly. I just shook my head while smiling devilishly. I know it’s weird, but I have this kind of attitude. I looked at him again without any aura on me. I mean no expression.

This is the first time that someone bullied me and it makes me feel something. I can feel the trembling of my body because of the freezing water that they poured on me plus the air con of the whole room is turned on.

How nice! I will get sick in no time because of the bullshit of this man.

“Oww, I was touched when you woke me. Let me pay you back.” I said to him with a foolish smile on my lips.

I grabbed my bag and left. Before I left, I stopped in front of them and looked at Jenthrix.

“You want a game? I give you a game. Not because that you are a man I will not fight you back. But before we start, I will give you an example.” I said then smirked.

You don’t know the person you bumped into Tyson. You mess with me? I'll mess you too.

I walked closer to him and punch him but he quickly dodged it.

“What the?” he says.

He is too slow. I thought men have fast reflexes? Why is the man in front of me is so slow? My God! He’s not a good fighter then. I can beat him in one combat only.

“Oops, what a wrong move.” When he dodged it, I quickly punched him again but this time, on his stomach so that he would not dodge it again.

“Ouch!” he growled. “Bye, Jenthrix.” I smiled sweetly.

I left him writhing in pain. I also have no combat for two weeks. Is my hand still that heavy?

Before I could finally get out, I turned to him again.

“I didn’t have my practice yet you acting like a new infighting. That’s just an example, Tyson. Never mess with me.”
