1 a new element
Last time on the missing elements
Twilight and the gang when to the tree of harmony to find two new elements appeared and they were ambushed by 20 Timberwolves but ghost was able to turn one of then in to a metal version and the rest ran away and each elements went to each barer of said element
But then all of a sudden Veronica showed up.
"Everything all right here ghost?"
Twilight gasped. "Is that?"
Ghost nodded while Rainbow dash was having a flashback.
Rainbows flashback
"Is that somepony falling?" rainbow asked herself as she was making the next turn in the race for fluttershy's honor
"I got to do something but I don't want to let fluttershy down wait if I can go fast enough on the last dip I can save that pony" rainbow said then the bully hit her out of the way
"See you later rainbow crash" the bully said making the drive for the last ring before the finish line.
"Hay" rainbow said diving after him and gaining speed fast as rainbow passed the bully she started to see her plan come in to action and as she hit the last ring she heard a loud boom and she caught the pony falling and when she crossed the finish line rainbow heard loud cheers all around her as she put down the pony.
"Are you ok?"Rainbow asked the pony.
"Yeah" the pony said and rainbow got a good look at her, she was a red pony with a blue main and she could not have her cutie mark.
"My name is Rainbow Dash, what is yours," Rainbow asked.
"Umm Veronica Hooves."Veronica said as she looked into Rainbow's eyes.
Inside of rainbow's head
"She looks cute." rainbow said to herself
"Wait, I just met this pony and I just told myself she is cute. Why did I say that?" rainbow asked herself.
Outside of Rainbow's head
"Hay sorry to leave you but I got to go find my friend fluttershy " rainbow said taking to the skies
"Oh ok bye rainbow '' Veronica said with a little blush, then there was a flash behind her when she saw that she had gotten her cutie mark.
As Rainbow came back from the flashback she looked at Veronica and blushed a little as she remembered her feelings for veronica.
"Hay Rainbow long time no see."Veronica said with a little blush that she hoped no pony saw.
"Hay Veronica," Rainbow said, looking away a little but keeping Veronica In her peripheral vision.
"So how have you been doing?" Veronica asked her.
"Oh you know just trying to get into the wonderbolts." Rainbow said.
"How about you?" Rainbow asked regaining eye contact with Veronica.
"I'm doing pretty good and..I'm entering into a race."
Veronica responded.
"Which one? I heard there is a couple in Cloudsdale and there are two In ponyville." Rainbow said
"Cloudsdale." Veronica said.
"Is it the one that laps all of cloudsdale" rainbow asked a little nervous
"Uh..no. Why?" Veronica asked her.
"Umm no reason" rainbow said looking away a little
Veronica looked at the clock.
"The race is today in a couple minutes so I gotta go..bye!"
She said and flew off in a flash.
Ghost disappears then appeared as a small version in front of veronica "so you going to ask her out" ghost asked
"(Blushes hard) Uhh..maybe sometime."
She looked away a bit as she said that.
"Ok so here I will give you this just know it is only up to you to ask" ghost said giving veronica a entree ticket to the race rainbow was talking about " it is in three days so think about it" ghost said disappearing.
Veronica blushes a bit more and thinks about it.
"I mean..I guess it wouldn't hurt to go."
She muttered.
"Oh and one more thing" ghost said reappearing shocking veronica " you have to give her this if you decide to go" ghost said handing her a rainbow colored rose.
"Hmm..ok. I'll go and I'll give her the rose."
She nodded, still blushing as she said that.
Three days later in cloudsdale
Rainbow walked into the building that the entree for the race was, Veronica was there too but figured maybe she could ask her out after the race..if she gets the chance.
"So Veronica, do you think you are going to win?" ghost asked, appearing in front of her.
"Probably not...Rainbow's a lot faster then me..I'd have to say, I'm probably the second fastest."
She said a bit embarrassed about that fact.
"Well you may have a chance" ghost said then the intercom came on
'All racers to the starting line, All racers to the starting line'.
"Guess I better get out there. See ya Ghost."
She went over to the starting line.
As rainbow made her way to the starting line she saw Veronica and went over to talk to her, "hay veronica I thought you weren't in this race" Rainbow said, a little confused.
"Well..it's kind of a long story…"
She said blushing hard.
"Well I hope you win." Rainbow said with a little blush.
"Uh..thanks."
She said with a smile.
As rainbow and Veronica lined up at the start ghost Got some popcorn and a telescope.
'On your mark' the intercom said and veronica and rainbow were ready to have a great race
'Get set' ghost started to giggle as fluttershy was jumping a little in her seat.
'Go' the intercom said and all the racers were off.
Rainbow and veronica were neck and neck for almost all of the race
"Wow you improved a lot since the last time we raced," Rainbow said as they made a turn.
"Well..gotta impress somepony."
She said with a wink,trying harder to catch up to her.
"Really?" rainbow said, slowing down a little.
"Yeah.."
She said, starting to catch up.
"Is it somepony I know?" rainbow asked.
"Heh..it's you."
She said looking away a bit.
"What?" Rainbow said as they made the last turn and they can see the finish line.
"I said..it's you Rainbow."
She said louder this time while blushing.
"Really?" rainbow said as her heart was rising in her chest.
Veronica nodded as they crossed the finish line.
'And we have a tie for first' the intercom said as they crossed.
"Good job you two!" ghost yelled from the stands.
"Well looks like we both won" Rainbow said looking at Veronica with a bright blush.
"Yeah..we need to race again..but before that..(she handed her the rainbow rose) will you go out with me Rainbow Dash?"
Veronica asked her.
Rainbow looked at the flower that Veronica gave her. "Veronica, can I tell you something before I say yes." rainbow said, looking Veronica in the eyes.
"Sure..what is it?"
Veronica asked.
"Well it is just I loved you for so long now and I am happy that you have asked me out. I never got the courage to ask you and well i don't know what else to say but i know what to do" rainbow said then kissed veronica.
Veronica looked surprised as ever but kissed her back.
"You know fluttershy I helped with that a little bit" ghost said as they walked up on Veronica and rainbow kissing.
"Oh..wow. That's nice."
Fluttershy responded.
"Oh how long were you two there?" Rainbow said, breaking the kiss and blushing a very bright red.
"We just got here but my camera has been here for the entire time but I can tell that your mare friend is very happy cause you almost knocked her out." Ghost said, looking at Veronica.
Veronica was blushing hard. "Ghost don't embarrass me.."
She said with a little laugh.
"Sorry I was trying to embarrass Rainbow but it looks like I can't help it. you two don't mind if I show this to everypony. " ghost said, holding the camera.
Veronica's eyes went wide.
"Ghost don't you dare!" Rainbow said with a little anger.
"Ok on one condition " ghost said
"What's that?"
Veronica said.
"You must go on a double date with me and fluttershy" ghost said with a smile
"Well ok… Veronica I would love to go on that date with you to answer your question from earlier." Rainbow said smiling.
"Alright cool..me too."
Veronica responded.
"So who wants to pick the restaurant I don't mind which one I will pay." ghost said
"Oh I know a really great restaurant.."
Fluttershy said.
"Ok then fluttershy lead the way" ghost said with a smile
Fluttershy led them there.
10 minutes later
"So fluttershy what is the name of this restaurant" ghost asked
"It's called Lovesky Rockets."
Fluttershy said.
"Oh sounds romantic," Ghost said.
Fluttershy nodded.
"So Veronica how long have you had a crush on me?" Rainbow asked.
"(Blushes)Ever since that day we met.."
Veronica said.
"Really cause I had a crush on you sense then too!" rainbow said putting a wing around Veronica.
"Yeah..I love you."
Veronica responded.
"I think it will take me some time to get used to hearing those words but I like it cause I love you too" rainbow said kissing Veronica's cheek.
Veronica blushes.
"So fluttershy how much longer Until we get there" ghost asked floating a little above the ground
"Just a couple more minutes."
Fluttershy said.
"Good thing you know this place cause I don't know any places here " ghost said
"No problem."
Fluttershy smiled and giggled.
"Hay fluttershy how do you know this place?" rainbow asked
"Oh..well Angel showed me this place awhile back so I checked it out."
Fluttershy said.
"You know I think angel is growing to me but I don't know..he hasn't tried anything on me yet." ghost said
"Just give him some time.."
Fluttershy responded with a smile.
"Rainbow feel free to get whatever ever no matter the price I can afford anything."Ghost said, making a bag of bits appear in his hoof.
"Well ok but you don't have to worry about me." rainbow said, bumping veronica a little with her flank.
"Ghost, I think you should worry about what your girlfriend wants."
Veronica said with a smirk.
"Oh I am But I left him at home," ghost said giggling a little bit.
"What?" Rainbow asked
"Well let's not worry about him" ghost said as he starts to float a little higher "fluttershy you know my rules about what you order as long as you want it I will get it for you" ghost said
Fluttershy nodded looking at the menu.
"So what do you guys want" ghost as looking at the menu.
"I want a salad."
Fluttershy said.
"I want bubble tea and fries."
Veronica said.
"I will have the same as veronica " rainbow said putting a hoof on hers
"Ok I will call the waiter" ghost said raising a hoof and a waiter came over
"What can I get you?"the waiter asked.
"We will take 2 salads, two bubble teas, two fries, and three bottles of wine," ghost said.
"Ok your order will be out In ten minutes" the waiter said taking the menus and walking to the kitchen
"Wait, you said 3 bottles of wine, why did you say that?" rainbow asked
"I just want to make your first date fun." ghost said.
"Oh well I don't drink much and I don't think veronica does either. " rainbow said, looking at veronica.
She nodded.
"Well two bottles are for me you three have to share the Last one." ghost said.
Veronica blushes.
"Wait ghost how much do you drink?" rainbow asked.
"Well due to the fact I can't get drunk a lot,"ghost said as the wine and food arrived .
"I will be back with you after you are done" the waiter said leaving
"Let's eat, " ghost said, grabbing his fork and he started to eat his salad.
Fluttershy and Veronica started to eat too.
Rainbow eats her food with a little frown as she remembers her last time she went drinking with friends.
Veronica noticed.
"Something wrong?"
"No it's nothing." Rainbow said looking at the wine.
Ghost says nothing, only looks at rainbow and sees inside her head "oh" ghost said under his breath.
Veronica continued to eat and muttered "Why won't she tell me..does she not trust me?"
"Here let's have a drink to show our friendship." ghost said, pouring 4 glasses of wine.
"Yeah to friendship and love."Rainbow said, grabbing the glass.
"Yay friendship."
Fluttershy said holding her glass.
"Hooray for friendship."
Veronica said, grabbing hers.
They all hit their glasses together and drink they're wine but Rainbow only took a sip.
"Something wrong rainbow, you aren't acting like yourself?"ghost asked.
Rainbow said nothing, only looked at the table.
Veronica put a wing around her.
"Rainbow you should tell her she is worried about you" ghost said in rainbows head
"Veronica can I talk to you in private?" Rainbow said, looking at veronica.
"Uh..sure.You wanna go outside?"
Veronica asked her.
"Yeah."Rainbow said, standing slowly.
Veronica got up too and the two went outside of the restaurant.
"Veronica, you remember when I first arrived in ponyville 15 years ago." rainbow said not looking at veronica at first.
"Yeah?"
Veronica said.
"Well some of my old friends were throwing a party and I got pretty drunk."Rainbow said looking down.
"Whoa..hey that's nothing to be ashamed of. I still like you a lot Rainbow."
Veronica responded.
"well there is something that happened that night when I was drunk." Rainbow said with some tears in her eyes.
"What happened?"
Veronica asked, putting a wing around her again.
"Well I…..(whispers) got pregnant."Rainbow said with some more tears.
"Hey..it's ok. I'm sure you'll be a great mom."
Veronica said.
"Well I don't know cause I don't have my daughter. I put her up for adoption once I got out of the hospital."rainbow said crying.
"Ok..look what if I took care of her?"
Veronica asked.
"Well I don't know if she has been adopted or not I see her around town but I don't know." rainbow said, turning away.
"I'll ask her..everything's going to be alright. Do you want me to keep this a secret?"
Veronica asked.
"Please keep this a secret. I don't want the others to worry and my daughter doesn't even know I am her mother. She only knows I am her friend."rainbow said hugging veronica.
"Ok..I'll keep it a secret."
Veronica said hugging back.
"Hay do you want to live with me, I only ask because we are dating now." rainbow asked, breaking the hug.
"(Blushes)Sure."
Veronica said and thought "Man things are happening fast."
"You're telling me." ghost said in Veronica's head
"Wait, you can read minds? Wow..that's amazing. How are things going with Fluttershy?"
Veronica asked in her mind.
"Things are going good. She is three glasses deep, but how is rainbow doing? Has she told you about her daughter?"Ghost asked in Veronica's head.
"Uh..yeah. Wait how do you know?"
Veronica said in her head.
"Well why do you think she asked you to talk in private?" ghost said
"Eh..nevermind."
She said and stopped thinking, smiling at Rainbow.
"Ask rainbow for her daughter's name then you will release why she doesn't want to say anything to her friends." ghost said.
"Hey..Rainbow what's your daughter's name?"
Veronica asked, whispering.
"Her name is scootaloo" Rainbow said, not looking at veronica.
Veronica gasps. "Oh..ok."
"I wish I knew her father so I can beat the hell out of him but I was so drunk I don't remember who got me knocked up."Rainbow said.
Veronica giggled a little.
"Hey guys, are you ready to head back to ponyville? " ghost asked walking out of the restaurant with fluttershy on his back..
"Sure."
Veronica said.
"Yeah."Rainbow said, stretching her wings.
"There rest your wings I will just teleport us to Fluttershy's cottage. " ghost said as they appeared in front of Fluttershy's house.
"Thanks ghost" Rainbow said, then she turned to Veronica, " Are you ready to head home?" rainbow asked.
Veronica nodded, stretching her wings.
"Follow me and I will make sure you don't get lost."Rainbow said, taking to the skies.
"Ok."
Veronica flew up with her wings and followed her.
As rainbow and veronica flew to rainbow's cloud mansion rainbow started to hear somepony call for her.
"Rainbow, rainbow!" scootaloo yelled.
"Oh hay squirt what's up?" rainbow said flying to her.
"I was just done reading the article about the race you were in and it says that you end in a tie" scootaloo said.
"Oh yeah I tied with her."Rainbow said, pointing to veronica.
"Hey scootaloo."
Veronica said.
"Hay veronica" scootaloo said waving to her "are we still going to have that sister sleepover at your house rainbow?" scootaloo asked, jumping a little bit.
"Oh Right that is today, hay veronica you don't mind if scootaloo stays The night right?" Rainbow asked veronica.
"Not at all."
Veronica said with a smile.
"Ok then scootaloo hope on" rainbow said crouching down so scootaloo can hop on her back
"Is she staying the night too?" scootaloo asked rainbow.
"Yeah but she will be stay long than one night" rainbow said taking to the skies again making the rest of the distance to her home
"Rainbow what are we going to be doing for this sleepover?" scootaloo asked
"Let's let Veronica choose."Rainbow said.
Veronica looked away a bit trying not to blush.
"Heh..Hmm..how about we tell scary stories?"
"Sure" scootaloo said.
"Yeah that sounds like fun" rainbow said with a smile
"Veronica, how about you start?" scootaloo said.
"Ok umm once upon a particular time there was a pony with only 3 feet and blood red eyes. They say he was born that way but no one knows for sure..ponies would call him Blood feet and make fun of him for that..until one day he decided to get revenge and scared every pony pretending to be dead. After a while ponies found out that it was all an act so he kept trying and then he disappeared never to be heard from again. So ponies believe he's actually dead unless you say his name 5 times."
Veronica said, finishing the story.
"Not bad but i got a better one."rainbow said.
"Long ago in a land not far from here there was a species of ponies but they were not ponies they were called Thrashals and these Thrashals have dark magic."rainbow said and the room went dark.
"Among these Thrashals there was one named Phoenix and he was the only one to face their greatest enemy the changelings."rainbow lit a candle to brighten the room a little bit.
"One day the changelings invaded and killed all of the Thrashals but him and to this day it is said that if you go to the caves you will hear the cries of the Thrashals" rainbow said then there was a wild gust of wind blowing out the candle.
"Phoenix was the only Thrashal leave and he returned only shortly after to find a way to stop his enemies and some say that he found it that day in the caves and if you say his name 3 times and tell his story correctly he will appear " rainbow said then there was a flash.
"Who summoned me?" Phoenix asked.
Veronica,rainbow and scootaloo jumped.
"I did." rainbow said a little worry in her voice.
"Sense you have summoned me I will grant you all one wish and know if you choose to kiss somepony it will end badly."Phoenix said.
"Ok then I wish for.." "your wish has been granted." rainbow was interrupted by Phoenix.
"What but I did not say anything?"rainbow said
"You did in your mind so I granted it." Phoenix said.
"So what ever we wish we have to think of it in our head?" scootaloo asked.
"Yep."Phoenix said then scootaloo and veronica both thought of what they wanted to wish for.
"I wish for scootaloo to be able to fly."
Veronica thought.
"You wish has been granted." Phoenix said
"I wish I had a family." scootaloo thought.
"All wishes have been granted, I am off." Phoenix said disappearing.
"That was weird."scootaloo said.
"Yeah."
Veronica said.
"Well it is getting late wouldn't you say?" rainbow said looking out the window.
"(Yawns) Yes it is."
Veronica said, feeling tired.
"Aww come on a few more hours please? " scootaloo said.
"I don't know..Rainbow what do you think?"
Veronica asked, looking at her.
"'Scootaloo You need your rest for our flying lessons tomorrow." rainbow said.
"Ok then good night rainbow." scootaloo said walking to the guest room.
Veronica fell asleep next to rainbow.
Rainbow smiled as she also fell asleep.
Later that night
Scootaloo woke up in the middle of the night thirsty as she made her way back to the guess bedroom she saw a new room she has never been in and she went in to see what is in there.
The next day
Veronica woke up and noticed Rainbow's wing was on her and blushed.
"Morning veronica " rainbow said opening her eyes a little bit.
"Morning Rainbow."
Veronica said.
"How did you sleep?" Rainbow asked.
"Pretty good."
Veronica responded.
"You ready for the best breakfast ever?" rainbow said standing up.
"Sure!"
Veronica said standing up.
"'Ok meet me in the kitchen I will get scootaloo " rainbow said walking to the guest room.
Veronica nodded and walked into the kitchen.
"Squirt you up?" rainbow said at the door with no response " you know if you don't get up now I will have to get the feather " rainbow said opening the door a little, rainbow still had no response so when rainbow opened the door fully she found the room empty with a not on the bed.
"Dear rainbow
I know what you have been hiding from everypony and I don't want to be around you anymore why would you not tell me
No longer your sister scootaloo "
"Veronica!" Rainbow yelled.
Veronica ran into the guest room.
"What? Is something wrong?"
"She is gone" rainbow said looking at the letter again
Veronica sighed and hugged Rainbow.
"She found out I am her mother and she hates me."rainbow said.
"I know..and I'm not sure what to say..I never thought she would overreact that much."
Veronica said.
"We should try and find her" rainbow said.
"Yeah..ok."
Veronica responded.
Everfree forest
"You know scootaloo you can't stay here" ghost said appearing in front of scootaloo.
"Leave me alone."scootaloo said walking around him.
"No cause I know what is going through your Head and I am going to show you what happens if you stay with this plan" ghost said putting scootaloo in a bubble then he made a red stone appear in his hand then another scootaloo appeared going the same direction she was going.
Ponyville
Rainbow and Veronica were searching for scootaloo.
"Any luck?" Rainbow asked veronica.
Veronica shook her head no.
"Ghost any luck" rainbow asked
"She is head for the tallest mountain past the everfree forest " ghost said.
"How did you know?" rainbow asked
"Good guess." ghost said
"Let's go then" rainbow said flying to the mountain
The tallest Mountain in equestria
"Veronica do you see her?" rainbow asked
Veronica nodded. "Yeah."
"Where?" Rainbow asked.
Veronica pointed to where scootaloo is.
"Scootaloo what are you doing?!" rainbow yelled to scootaloo.
"Getting away from you!" Scootaloo yelled back.
"Why?" rainbow asked.
"Cause you lied to me for 14 years!" Scootaloo yelled
"I am sorry." rainbow said.
"Do you really think a apology will make me forgive you?" scootaloo said.
"You could Live with me and veronica " rainbow said
"Do You know where I have been living for ten years?" scootaloo asked walking to the edge.
"No."rainbow said.
"I have been living on the streets with little to no food." scootaloo said.
"What?" Rainbow said confused
"Now I will end it" scootaloo Said.
"Wait scootaloo don't " rainbow said stopping scootaloo.
"What" Scootaloo said
"Please don't do this I won't forgive myself if you do this. I regret putting you in that orphanage." rainbow said crying
"This is your fault" scootaloo said jumping.
"No rainbow said running to the edge to find nothing "what" rainbow said wiping away a tear.
"Scootaloo is fine " ghost said appearing.
"Where is she? " rainbow asked.
"I will only tell if you can guess my name" ghost said
"Your name?" rainbow asked.
"Yes, my real name." ghost said.
"How am I supposed to know that veronica any idea?" rainbow asked veronica.
Veronica whispered to her.
"Jason."
"Is it jason?" Rainbow asked
"Yes and no in another world yes but in this one no I will give you a hint that you two may remember
"The ability to fly, and family, the daughter I lost" ghost said
"What does that mean?" rainbow asked
"Think back you two have thinked theses words before with the hope a story is true" ghost said with a smile.
"Ok think when did we think of these things?" rainbow said to veronica.
Veronica started to think..
"Hmm..that does sound familiar."
"Wait last night what was the guys name?" rainbow asked.
"I believe his name was Phoenix."
Veronica said remembering.
"Good job scootaloo is Right here" ghost said making the red gem appear then scootaloo appeared the the bubble then ghost released he
"You really regret putting me in that orphanage?" scootaloo asked tears In her eyes.
"Yes squirt." rainbow said.
"How do I know you are telling the truth?" scootaloo asked.
"Cause I would give up everything to get you back" rainbow said the ghost made the element of loyalty appear in front of rainbow
"Would you give up that?" scootaloo asked
"No I would give it to you " rainbow said putting the element around scootaloo's neck and it started to glow and the element of love appeared on veronica and the element of bravery appeared on ghost
"So veronica do you know what this means" ghost asked veronica.
"Uh..no. What?"
Veronica asked.
"It means that scootaloo is taking rainbow's loyalty, bravery, and love and they are becoming a family again with you in it " ghost said then rainbow and scootaloo hugged.
"Oh.."
Veronica said and smiled.
"Go and join them I have to get going and help fluttershy with something" ghost said disappearing.
Veronica went over to them and hugged them.
"Can we go home mom's? " scootaloo said shocking Both rainbow and veronica.
"Sure."Rainbow said and they took to the skies.
Pretty soon they got back home.
