Ch 1 Windings Elementary

It was the first day of 5th grade. My parents and I moved all the way across the country from Washington DC to California Which also meant A new school.

The school wasn't honestly that bad there were normal teachers normal classes and normal students but what bothered me the most was that there was Missing Children Signs all over the school for the same kid.

I asked a teacher going to her next class what was the missing signs all about? She said last week this boy named Josh got on a bus and never made it home. That's horrible! I said she agreed with me and went on to her next class.

At lunch this guy named Tyler bumps into me causing me to spill my food all over myself and the floor. He just laughed and ran away the teachers came over and before I could even say anything they sent me to detention!

After school I had to wait 3 more hours but finally I got out of detention! But then I realize I had no way to get home. But just then a bus shows up I ran outside as fast as I could to catch the bus. I made it just in time I asked the bus driver why it was here so late he said this was a detention bus. To pick up the students in detention.

I was so relieved when he said that! So I texted my mom I was in detention and heading home now my mom asked how I was heading home I said the detention bus. My mom said there is NO DETENTION BUS.
