6 [Chapter:5][Group mission?]

"An, you made dinner, Onii-chan?"

Hearing the door open, I look back to see my cute little sister Rino sniff the fragrance permeating the house cutely.

How cute.

"Yup. You worked hard today. So I made your favourites."

I only needed to see how she limped slowly to know she overdid her practice again.

"You got hurt?"

"No, just a couple bruises here and there. They'll be gone by tomorrow."

I nodded as she went to freshen up. I honestly had no idea why she practiced so much. It was obvious it wasn't merely passion or interest in learning kendo. Rather, it felt like she was desperately trying to become stronger physically.

I just hope she wouldn't become macho though. I like her cute and adorable self more.

Oh well, it's her choice in the end. I just have to be there to support her.

Hm? The Group?

Taking out the Smartphone which vibrated along with the notification ringing in my mind, I open the Chat to find the screen practically covered with messages, pictures, calls…

[Admin] Sloth : Oh, you girls all changed your names? And I see a lot of familiar names too.

[Admin] Tanaka : My name is Tanaka, an average first year high schooler. As I said before, my world doesn't have any supernatural aspect like magic, chakra, etc… . Even science isn't that well developed compared to some other worlds.

[Admin] Tanaka : Nice to meet you all, I suppose.

Kuroneko : Nice to meet you too Tanaka-san! You just said you're familiar with out names? So that means our worlds are in forms of fiction in your world too?

Kuroneko : Also! I found you in my world.

Kuroneko : This is you isn't it?

Kaguya Houraisan : Oho? Is this Admin-san's world? Admin-san looks unexpectedly cute.

[Admin] Tanaka : If you're trying to make me blush, it won't work.

[Admin] Tanaka : Also, don't you all have more important stuff to do? Like a new app that appeared on the home screen?

I swiped the Chat window to the corner after typing that, minimising it, and went back to the home screen before selecting the new icon that appeared next to the Char icon.

"Missions? That's the new app?"

Opening it, a window with only a single entry present appeared on it.

Participants : 0/6 (Mandatory)

Preparation Time : 0:59:53

Objectives : 1) Kill 3 stray Devils

2) Kill 3 rogue Fallen

3) Kill 3 excommunicated Exorcists

4) Learn any supernatural technique

Note : Time in all worlds except for the mission world will be stopped for the duration of the mission.

Note : The Admin must participate in every mission, hence isn't counted in the number of participants.

Note : Mandatory missions require the participants slot to be full.

Note : For non-mandatory missions, any member, while keeping the total number within the maximum slot number, can choose to participate or choose not to, with the Admin being the only exception.

Note : The mission can be started at anytime within the preparation time given.

Note : If not started in advance, the mission would automatically begin when the preparation time ends.

Note : If participants are not selected before the preparation time ends, random members would be selected to participate, in which case even if the mission is not mandatory, the participant slot would be filled.

Note : As a [Tutorial] mission, all rewards will be doubled.

Note : The above 'notes' will only be present for the [Tutorial] mission, and will no longer be present from the next mission.

Reading the large number of 'notes' made me sleepy…but I can't sleep yet.

So I'll be going to another world in an hour, huh?

DxD…it's a dangerous world, but well, at least Rias isn't any mob character there. It should be safe there.

Not to mention, Tsunade, Irene, and especially Kaguya, are all extremely strong people. Kaguya should be able to deal with anyone in that world, except maybe Great Red and Ophis.

Thinking about it again, it leant sound so dangerous huh?

Oh, looks like the Chat's blowing up.

Kuroneko : So we're going to DxD huh?

Kaguya Houraisan : We'll be in your care then, Rias-san.

Irene Belserion : Take care of us, Rias-san.

Rias Gremory : Don't worry everyone! I'll take care of everything, you just have to focus on the mission.

Mikoto Misaka : Wait wait wait! Is everyone just gonna ignore how the note said time in our worlds would stop!?

Tsunade Senju : As far fetched as it sounds, this 'Group' already connected people across entire worlds and realities and all that stuff.

Irene Belserion : Stopping the time for an entire world, let along multiple ones, sounds absurd, but then again, a world without magic and magicians was quite absurd in my opinion not too long ago too.

Kaguya Houraisan : Indeed. I'm sure there are ESPers in your world who can stop time, even if with many restrictions, Mikoto-san.

Kuroneko : Now that you mention it, Admin-san and I are the only 'normal' people in this group huh.

[Admin] Tanaka : I actually have a special ability too.

Kuroneko : Eh? Really?

Kaguya Houraisan : My, do share it with us.

I could practically 'see' the members' curiosity.

[Admin] Tanaka : I can sleep anywhere, anytime, regardless of the situation I'm in.

Kaguya Houraisan : …

Rias Gremory : …

Irene Belserion : …

Tsunade Senju : …

Mikoto Misaka : …

[Admin] Tanaka : Although I never experienced sleeping underwater or in the middle of a volcano, I'm confident I can do it! I'm confident in my power to sleep!

Mikoto Misaka : That's not something to be proud about!

I chuckle at Mikoto's retort as I close the Chat.

Although Rias said she would prepare everything for us, I still have to make some preparations after all.

Actually, now that I think about it, my only preparations needed are taking my pillow and blanket…

"Onii-chan, what are you doing?"

Rino's curious voice brought me out of my reverie as I looked at her with a smile.

"Rino, it's been a while since we spent some time together. Come here."

I patted the spot next to me, and Rino's face visibly brightened as she quickly sat there.

It might take several days to complete this mission, and I'm sure I'll miss my cute little bro-con, so I guess I'll spend this hour playing with her.

As for other preparations…eh, I'm feeling too lazy.
