1 Chapter 1 Ace's Pov

It was the first day of school for me and the other kids in my neighborhood like Alyssa,

Zero and Tawney. Even though we were the best of friends when we were younger I still see Alyssa and Zero in class but I rarely see Tawney because she's a genius and is in all or most of the advanced classes in the school well thats what I heard, anyway let's get on with my day so I walked into the school and saw that they're pairing up different clubs this year and that the math club and the gaming club that im apart of a initiative of to include everyone in everything and to make sure everyone enjoys it. So im going to go to my homeroom which is art and I think Alyssa's in but who knows honsetly I don't really pay attention to the teacher when she does attendance I only listen for when she calls my

name then I space out until we start class... 1 Hour later so its time for lunch aka its time to meet up with the new gaming/math club now as soon as I walked into the room I saw somebody I thought I would never see again... It was Tawney I should've known she was apart of the math club I mean she's a genius but its still nice to see her though so let's get this over and done with. I see Tawney sitting in the chair next to where the gaming setup that I use so I go and sit down and when I did she must've heard the chair move and then turned around and saw me and said " hey Ace long time no see" then I said " yea I know right but anyways how are you doing" she then said " i'm been doing good getting good grades of course but how have you been doing " then I said " well that's good I've never expected less from you, you are a genius after all" then she said " really wow that's how everyone see's me huh but I mean its true" then I said " I mean yea its true but let's get started on what we need to do" then she said " ok let's get started, I wanna start on some math pages then you can learn to apply them to whatever game your going to play" then I said " ok yea let's do that" then she said " ok let's start" then I said "ok" then we started with the math part then after that we started to play the game and I was able to nail down the pattern I needed to in order to win the game and beat my old highscore after we were done with that we started talking about hanging out more after school so I said " hey thanks for helping me out with this even though that's what supposed to be happening" then she said " yea its no problem at all I miss hanging out with all you especially you Ace" then I said "maybe me and you can hangout after school if you want to" the she said " yeah that would be really cool I'll just have to check with my parents " then I said " yeah I'll just have to check with my parents to but I think they'll be fine with it" then she said " ok yeah then lets" then I said " ok so I'll see you later then" so after that I packed up my gear and the stuff and went to my locker and put my gaming stuff in there and grabbed the books I need for my next class which is biology and I love that class its my favorite I think I have that with Zero so yeah I don't know I guess like I said earlier I only listen for my name on the attendance then just zone out but instead of just zoning out after attendance I listen to my teacher about the biology because I actually like that class... 40 minutes later after biology class I went to my locker and I got the books and other stuff I need for study hall so I went to study hall and put my headphones in my phone just listened to some music and studied my math,art,biology and all my other subjects in school... 30 minutes later it was time to pack up and go to school so I went to my locker and grabbed my backpack and went home. When I got home I went inside and told my parents that I'm going to hangout with some of my friends from school and that I should be back soon. I went outside and saw Tawney standing outside her door probably waiting for me so I went up to her drive way and as soon as she saw me she ran down to me and said " hey all ready to go" then I said "yeah let's get going" then she said "let's go to the park and just walk around the yard" then I said "ok then lets" then she said "race yea there Ace" then I said "ok see yea when I beat yea Tawney" then we both started to run to the park and just started to laugh on our way there just like the good old time when it was me her and Alyssa and Zero. As soon as we got to the park we started to talk about the good old days with me her Alyssa and Zero when we used to run around this field anyway by the time we stopped talking and catching up with each other it was almost 10 pm so we decided to start to walk home and when we got to our neighborhood our parents were standing outside our doors shaking they're heads with disappointment and told us both to get inside the house so we said bye to each other...
