The misadventures of Koda Evans

Why did it have be today? Why in front of all of these people at MY birthday party? Two ten foot tall men stood towering over me with a blank expressions and, to be honest ... I almost peed myself. Millions of questions run through my mind such as, "why are there two men towering over me"? "Are they servants of the shadow king"? "There are exactly three-hundred and sixty-five days in one normal year so ,why couldn't you just pick another day"? More and more questions emerge but all those questions were useless because, I wasn't going to ask them anyway. The men stand there silent until a guy just about their height emerges from the crowd. It's the shadow king.

The shadow king is a tall muscular man who wears a long blue and white cape to go along with his long brown hair and naturally blue eyes. In my personal opinion he looks like if you said one wrong word he would rip your face off. My friends cower in fear as he begins to approach me. He takes only three steps and he's so close I can feel his breath on my face. The room goes silent. No one dared speak in the presence of the infamous shadow king..... except me.

I began the conversation with "Hello Sir welcome to my humble abode" But, no response came from the king. He ignored me and began studying every inch of my body from my head to my toes finger tip to finger tip. Imagine, how you would feel if a stranger comes in your house and begins to look you up and down then, Magnify that feeling by about ten million and you'll know how I feel. All eyes on me.
