1 INTRO

In the year 999A.D. before the Mikaelsons were turned both Elijah and Niklaus were married.

When Henrik died, Ester gathered all her children and her two new daughter in laws and turned them into the original family.

Elijah had been told by his parents that he was to marry a girl by the name of Ava Marie DeBoer. Even though he was still in love with Tatia, the day of Elijah and Ava's wedding approached. Elijah asked his mother why he had to marry Ava, Ester told her son that Mikeal and Ava's father Alexander had an agreement since Ava came from a wealthy family, and Tatia was taking to long to decide between the boys. After Niklaus had married his wife, it was Elijah and Ava's turn. The day of their wedding Elijah was angry he didn't understand how both him and Niklaus never got an answer out of Tatia, he even had less of a chance now with him soon to be married with some one he barely new he never even noticed her. Sadly it was different for the bride she had grown to like Elijah they way he carried himself how noble he was even thought she would prefer they met in a different situation instead of being married she could help but hope that Elijah in time would grow to love her. She couldn't help but feel envious towards Tatia playing between two brothers. She noticed the closer she got to Elijah the more her smile felt forced knowing Elijah didn't want to marry her. She stood looking at Elijah as he began his vows "I promise to provide for you and your needs to make you happy to be with you, always and forever. Ava had no idea he just repeated what Ester told him to when, Elijah had no idea what to say to her. Ava stood while she said her vows to Elijah " I promise to be the best wife for you to be with you through sickness and health, to be by side, to defend you when you can't do it for yourself, I promise to stick it out with you till the end, always and forever. Their were teary faced as Ava had looked at the guests and saw a devastated face, Tatia's face she looked as if she wanted to stop the wedding but it was to late Mikeal had already pronounced them husband and wife. With a moment of hesitation the couple brought their lips together, she felt as if Elijah wanted the kiss to end quickly but still convincing.

Niklaus and Isabel had been best friends since they were younger. Constantly being there when Mikeal would torment Niklaus. She would sit and talk with him , about his father. Never understanding how Mikeal could be so cruel to his son. When Niklaus would talk to Isabel about a widow named Tatia with a son, she never understood why she would become jealous. Hearing Niklaus talk about another women boiled her blood, Tatia was trying to choose between Elijah and Niklaus, Isabel grew angry and started to avoid Niklaus, him not understanding why waited until she went to field where Isabel would enjoy nature the songs the birds played beautifully the beautiful purple daffodils that covered the field. Niklaus sat next to her demanding an answer, Isabel looked down ashamed and trying gather the courage, when she finally told Niklaus she loved him and that she didn't understand how he could compete against his brother. Niklaus looked down Isabel thinking she had ruined their friendship she stood to leave, when suddenly she felt a hand on hers making her stop in her tracks. Niklaus stood and cupped her cheeks with his hands lifting her head up pulling their lips together. Isabel felt happy relief flooded her body wrapping her arms around Niklaus, and him wrapping his arms around her waist. They soon pulled apart looking eachother in the eyes they both smiled to eachother trying to catch their breaths. They kept meeting in the field for a month Niklaus letting go of trying to be with Tatia. Niklaus and Isabel decided to tell their parents they wanted to be together, when they told Ester she looked happy gave her their blessing while Mikael looked at them almost unimpressed that his son had found happiness. That same night Mikeal had taken Elijah and Ester to meet with his partner to discuss a marriage Mikeal had arranged for his son. Soon after Niklaus married Isabel their wedding was simple they both stood face to face with smiles on their faces the whole time. Niklaus taking how beautiful Isabel looked in her dress flowers decorated her hair making it look like a crown, when Isabel looked at Niklaus all she could see was the little boy she use to run and play with she remembered back to when they would sit in the field of daffodils watching Klaus mix berries to make colors to paint with. It was as if their entire life together had flashed before the couples eyes smiling brightly to one another as they finished professing their love Niklaus and Isabel finished their vows with one simple promise to love eachother, to lift each other up, to always support each other no matter what happens, to be eachothers rocks to be their safe haven, to be everything they need, always and forever.
