2 Chapter 1

Elijah's POV

As I awoke i got up went behind my brothers hybrid to find him and his wife. Looking at me shocked.

"Elijah"

"So Niklaus what did I miss" I said as I held the dead hybrids heart in my hands.

"You two look surprise to surprised to me. Guess it wasn't you who removed the dagger from my chest." As I wiped the blood off my hands with a cloth that Isabel had handed me.

"You look like you could do with a drink. And we have much to discuss so shall we." All I felt was anger at my brother while he tried being so civil. When I hit him causing him to go through the door.

"Easy! I just finished renovating!"

He ran towards me throwing me in a table.

"You know you have every right to be mad at me,but I kept my word. I reunited you with our family. I got up standing to hit him when Isabel came through the door throwing me back.

"We were keeping you all safe don't act like the victim you stood against us! You almost let them take Niklaus from me forever Elijah! And then what I live without him! You may be able to live without ur wife but I'm not." She was inches from my face as she said those words. I looked down at myself ashamed she was right I only looked for my wife when it was convenient for me.

When I saw her Ava was standing behind Isabel just as angry. She looked beautiful I have seen her in almost a decade.

"I see your awake so how about we talk like family instead, before one of u boys ends up with a broken neck." Ava said ever so calmly with a smirk on her face "Mikeal is dead as well" looking at Niklaus and I. Isabel matched her smirk. I looked at them all with a questioning face.

"What did you say?" while Ava helped me up.

With a sigh she looked to Niklaus and Isabel who gave her a slight nod, she looks at me and says. "I killed him with his own weapon. He's gone Elijah forever."

"Why do our family remain in in these coffins? Finn for over 900 years. Kol for over a century. " As I turn to face Niklaus.

"Because of Stefan Salvatore. He hold the one thing keeping Nik from freeing them." Isabel said as she leaned up on the wall wrapped in Niklaus's arms.

"There are things that you do not know about our past Elijah. Our mothers death things I never wanted you to know. But im ready to tell you now." Niklaus said to me as he put the dagger back in Kol.

Niklaus led his wife to sit. And I held my hand out for Ava with a small smile one she returned, as she grabbed my hand I could help but motive every detail about her. How I never saw them before now. Her curvy figure her black hair rested on her back in waves. Her makeup made her look dangerous. She was beautiful I couldn't wait to be alone so we could talk about our marriage. How I have been thinking of her none stop.

My thoughts were interrupted as my brother looked to me and said "Always and Forever. I need you to stand by my side, be my brother. Help me destroy Stefan, and I promise you our family will be whole again."

After it was time to turn in Isabel showed me to my room she and Niklaus went to their room. While I made my way to my wife's room I knocked lightly.

Ava's POV

I was standing on the balcony in my room. I've always loved to stare at the sky its so peaceful. But all I could think about was Elijah he was being nice. When our hands touched it felt like sparks were coming through. I lost my train of thought when I heard a nock at my door.

"Come in." I said as I looked over my shoulder. Elijah came and stood next to me.

"What brings you by my room Elijah." As I turned to face him.

"I wanted to talk." He turned to me as well placing my hand in his. He continued. "I want to apologize for all these years all my mistakes. I'm sorry will u take me back. I love you and it took so long to realize it. I want us together, I promise to never leave you again, or lie to you." He placed a kiss on my hands. He slowly pulled out a box from his pocket.

"I planned this earlier, but seeing as I had a dagger in my chest I could not give this to you, my love. I bought you a new wedding ring. If you'd take me back. I will live by our vows, please." Elijah opened the box to reveal a beautiful ring.

I had tears in my eyes for over a thousand years this is all I wanted from Elijah. I smiled with happiness.

"Yes Elijah we can try again." He looked relieved to hear me say yes he quickly put the ring on my finger standing up. He cupped my face with his hand bringing his lips to me. I wrapped my arms around his neck, while he placed his around my waist pulling eachother closer.

We separated catching our breaths happy. We stayed in eachothers embrace for a while. Later going to bed.
