(A/N:-This chapter is basically a summary of what had happened in all these years since Henrik recruited Amakusa Shirou. Altered History lesson alert.)
(A/N:-I will be writing a few Interludes, from the servants point of view.)

1868, Japan, Tokyo….
It's been 200 years since Japan became a democracy, thanks to the allied forces of Mikaelson clan, Minamoto clan and Koga clan for bringing peace to the land. Peace and prosperity….., wealth flourished, so did people.
The times of chaos was the past whereas a bright future awaited those who survived the darkest times in the history of Japan. The Gerard family-controlled [Kyoto] as they did in the past but the Mikaelson clan decided to relocate.
Edo renamed Tokyo, meaning Eastern capital seemed a nice place to live, the Imperial family lead by Emperor Meiji had also relocated to the beautiful city.
The Gerard family has become the strongest family in the whole country, be it wealth, be it power, be it respect.
The seeming branch clan has grown into something that no other clan could resist, their loyalty towards the mysterious Mikaelson clan was well known, over the course of years….not a single Gerard rebelled against the main branch.
Throughout history, every branch family has had some issues with the main branch but not the Gerards.
The current leader of the Gerard family, Kiyohime Gerard was the same as her predecessor, [Messenger of the Mikaelson family], loyal to the Mikaelsons.
Every generation of the Gerard family produced geniuses, Sasaki Kojiro, the only disciple of the [Reaper of Gerard family], Nubi, the only disciple of the [Monster of the Gerard family], Honda Tadakatsu, the only disciple of the [Sword of the Gerard family], Tachibana Muneshige, the only disciple of the [Shield of the Gerard family], Sarutobi Sasuke, the only disciple of the [Shadow of the Gerard family], Miyamoto Musashi, the only disciple of the [Legendary Vagabond], Amakusa Shirou, the current [Hellfire of the Holy church].
Quite a lineup isn't it, Henrik spent years, centuries planning for this day, the day when he could just sit and enjoy eternity with his family. His heaven, his family's heaven was finally safe.
Toyotomi Ieyasu died a few years after being assaulted by the Gerard family Elders after Honda agreed to join the Gerard family in exchange for sparring Ieyasu's life.
Henrik hexed Ieyasu with the [Rosary of Madness], he had a 'No loose ends' policy thus Ieyasu's existence was unneeded and insignificant.
The [Rosary of Madness] was a dark object which was cursed by two witches, Henrik Mikaelson and Freya Mikaelson. By appearance, it resembles an intricately carved wooden bead rosary.
The Rosary was magically imbued to drive people into violent, psychopathic insanity and was one of the many ideas of Kol Mikaelson, who researched upon all kinds of magic, back in his old world.
Henrik had killed all those ambitious conservatives who tried to interfere with his plans. The new peace-loving Japan was progressing at high speed, developing technology, architecture, designs, weapons, etc.
Japan had established good relations with the U.S, India, England, Russia and Isreal. Unlike in the history of his previous world, England wasn't focused on superiority, thanks to the Pine family who became the new ruler of England after the revolt that took place in 1670.
The Mikaelson family and the Royal Family of England were great friends, Henrik never forgot about Albus Pine and his mother, Caroline Pine who helped him at the very beginning of his new journey. With Henrik's help in 1670, the revolt was successful technology exchange between the two countries was made possible.
India was untouchable due to the presence of Exalted Mages but there was a lot of in-fighting within the country. Henrik made a friend, an immortal Mage who could fight toe-to-toe with him, if [Ea] was not included. He suggested Khan about unifying the country since a lot of good stuff was being destroyed in the civil wars going on in the country.
He gave him the idea of [The Union of States], he should gather 28-open minded rulers and create 28-states rules by those individuals, he suggested him to form a democracy and follow the federal form of government. Though it was hard, Khan was able to gather 28 strong leaders and form a government with them.
They conquered the different territories of India and formed 28-states and 8-Union territories, a system was put in place and India became a democratic country with a board of 28-directors and a chairman who together controlled the country.
Federalism meant allocation of powers between the Center and States. India came to be considered as a Union of States because their Constitution allocated powers to both center and states with more powers to the centre.
In simpler terms, India after unification was not formed by different states coming together and establishing the Republic of India. Rather, India was granted independence and then the states were given a choice to join India. Therefore, the structure was formed in a top to bottom manner.
Due to Henrik being a close friend, Khan allowed Japanese forces and shipments to pass through the India ocean which literally connected the western and eastern part of the world.
He even invited Henrik to visit the newly reformed country and experience their hospitality and friendship.
The words 'serious' or 'stoic' couldn't be applied to anything that was truly Indian. Whether it is their weddings and family functions, everything that Indians were involved in inevitably gained a rumbustious flavour to it. Heck, for that matter, in certain parts of the country, even funerals are celebrated with song and dance since they believe death is only a passing on from one form to another!
Henrik was allowed to see the ancient relics and the oldest magic in the world, even learn all of them. He spends a good amount of time absorbing all the knowledge he gained, he liked India for many reasons but few things, in particular, attracted him the most.
They had a strong sense of family.
Indians have a sense of family that was unmatched anywhere in the world. Only in this country could you see families that include dozens of members and run up more than four generations living under a single roof!
And while their fiercest forms of love are always kept reserved for their kin, if they like you enough they will make you a part of it no matter where you're from. And once you are part of an Indian family, they will stick with you for life! Khan made Henrik into his sworn-brother, he vowed to help him wherever his needed, whatever he needed.
Unbelievably generous!…
Generosity was a basic tenet of India's over-arching culture and ancient tradition. Indians champion the cause of service to the fellow man at every possible turn.
Visit any Gurudwara in India and you'll leave with a belly full of sumptuous food, or knock on any door with a call for help and you'll find that it is answered!
This is perhaps most evident when you eat at an Indian home, where the hosts will make sure you eat twice what you normally do and still force you to make space for dessert!
Henrik gained a few pounds even though his physique made it impossible for him to gain or lose weight.
Khan told Henrik about their Motto for guests.
The culture that coined the motto 'Athithi Devo Bhava' or 'guest is equivalent to God' more than 2,000 years ago.
India's hospitality was the stuff of legends and it didn't just apply to fancy hotels and resorts. In fact, India was one of the few countries where, as long as you are a guest with true intentions, people will welcome you into their homes no matter which part of the country you were in and provide you with all the comforts, even at the cost of great hardship.
Henrik was surprised by the fact that many religions peacefully coexisted in India. After all, he himself knew what the situation in Japan used to be concerning religion.
When it came to religion, it was often Hinduism that stood out among the rest in India in terms of popularity. However, not many know that India also constitutes the second-largest Muslim population in the world and also a diverse following of Christianity that dates back to the 1st Century CE.
Apart from this, India was also the birthplace of Sikhism, Buddhism, Jainism, and several other major religions. It was a testament to India's and Indians' legendary levels of tolerance that this vastly diverse mixture of religions and cultures has peacefully co-existed in this country for thousands of years!
So no matter which religion or culture you are an adherent of, you will surely feel at home in India.
Indian merchants were one of the first in the world to spread out all across the globe and this tradition still runs strong in its population today.
Whether you go to a non-descript Pacific isle or a remote African nation, you will always find an Indian there.
Henrik even found about the true reason for the strength, Indian Mages possessed.
Deep spirituality…
People have been coming from far and wide to India for centuries seeking spiritual wisdom, and they never go back disappointed.
However, this deeply spiritual culture is not a geographical feature but is rather born from the propensity to be spiritual in every Indian, not just its ascetics and gurus. The strength formed by sure intense spirituality surpassed nearly everything that Henrik had witnessed.
England, Japan and India entered an Alliance. If any country dared to attack any one of these countries, the other two behemoths would also join in the battle.
Japan's problem of underpopulation was solved by India's problem of overpopulation whereas England helped in creating strong fleets and ships. The research regarding the proper material for sustaining the power of [Kyber Crystal] was solved after Khan gifted Henrik with a large part of an ancient meteoroid.
After that Henrik returned home to unseal his sister, the Spirits were nastier than Henrik had known, the ritual required to unseal Rebekah was much much different from Freya's. This became the reason why Henrik spent years mastering ancient Indian magic even though he had his Witchcraft.
A lot of strange occurrences were taking place, the spiritual density of the world had suddenly dropped, other than a few places like [Kyoto], [Tokyo] and all of [India], all forms of magic other than 'truly' ancient forms were destroyed.
The whole world lost magic whereas India stopped teaching their ancient magic to others, not because they didn't want to but rather the foreign people couldn't learn it anymore. The Mikaelson family remained unaffected but others lost their magic.
Witchcraft, Indian magic, Force, Ninjutsu and a few ancient forms of magic became the only source to channel the spirituality into their bodies.
Due to such bizarre occurrences, the different country started advancing in technology, weapons, etc. The competition for power began while Japan, India and England reinforced their protection and power.
This change also affected the Yokai and spirits who started disappearing and greatly lessened in number. The world was going through a change, a big one and Henrik's instinct told him that chaos was about to begin.
He hastily collected the materials required for the unsealing and started with the ritual.
