1609, Japan, Kanto province...
In the middle of a vast and beautiful city stood tall a giant castle made of enchanted bricks which increased it durability beyond traditional buildings, anti-mage wards covered the castle, anti-army canons mounted on the castle walls, a few hundreds of trained soldiers patrolling the area with Flintlock guarded the humongous inanimate structure.
On the top floor of this grand castle stood a middle-aged man, in the balcony, watching the sparrows flying far outside his reach, up high in the clear, bright sky. Untold, unseen, unfelt worry was evident on his face, something dangerous was near, but he couldn't put his finger on it.
"What are you thinking, Ieyasu-sama?"
A samurai clad in white-silver armour, a head guard with antler's horns on it, and a long-sword hanging from his waist, stood by the door of the inside in which was Ieyasu staying.
"Ohh…its nothing, just feel like something dangerous is about to happen."
"....."
"Why do you say so…?"
"I don't know…! But I got a terrible feeling that something is coming….! I don't want to take any chances…!"
"What should we do then…?"
"…..Ok, I will have a squad of rangers sweep through the boundary, just to be sure that nothing bad happens…"
"Very well, I will get it done."
"Thank you, Honda…"
"Thank you for your loyalty all these years…."
"...…"
"It has been my pleasure, my lord…."
(Near the city gate)
Two soldiers were patrolling the area with their flintlocks on their shoulders. They seemed to be arguing about something.
"Mojo Jojo, I am telling you….your wife's falafels are the best falafels in the whole city…."
"Of course they are but your wife's Hummus, hmmm…..I can eat your wife's Hummus all day, every day."
(A/N:-Falafel is a rounded dish, whereas Hummus is a savoury dish. Hope you got the reference.)
"No doubt about but you're wif "
Out of nowhere, a red armour clad woman, with white hair, crimson eyes, a Katana and flintlock hanging from her waist appeared behind the two soldiers and swings her hand forcible, smashes it into the helmet of one of the soldiers, causing him to fly out and crash into a tree, unconscious.
His partner turned around but was kicked on his breastplate, causing it to cave inside; he too was sent flying through the fly and crashed heavily on the ground.
The red armour clad woman turned around and spoke in a low tone.
"Tie them up and cast a sleeping spell on them."
Another woman appeared out of thin air, wearing a red-coloured western T-shirt while holding a massive and strange flintlock. Her red eyes were even more so than Kiyohime's.
"We could have just killed them…!"
"Master ordered us to avoid bloodshed as much as we can…."
"Oh...come on."
"Focus on the mission Nubi…"
"*Sigh*...ok"
"And what the hell are you even wearing."
"Uhahahah! I am the one, the only Seaside Demon King of the Sixth Heaven, Oda Nobunaga! I'm amazing even if I strip down, you hear me!"
"..."
"Sarutobi-san, how do we get in..?"
"Hey..! Don't ignore me ok…!" (Ignored)
A voice resounded within their minds, Freya bonded the participates of this mission with a mind link so that they could communicate telepathically.
"Well, the whole place is covered with anti-magic wards so we can't enter quietly using a cloaking spell combined with an invisible. We must infiltrate using the prison cell." (Sarutobi)
"You all are in?…" (Nobunaga)
"I am.." (Sarutobi)
"Me too" (Tachibana)
"Let's meet at the prison cell; number 330" (Kiyohime)
"Ok…" (Everyone)
(Somewhere else on an unnamed island)
"You ready…?"
"Be assured Henrik-sama; she can't defeat me in swordplay…..no one can, not anymore…."
Sasaki Kojiro, the nightmare of all sword masters was going to face the sword-immortal, Miyamoto Musashi. Musashi wasn't just the best woman to wield a sword; instead, she was considered unbeatable and invisible by many swordmasters.
People considered her to be the most brilliant swordsman ever to be born. Many thought her strong enough to best the [Reaper], many were beating on her to win the incoming battle between her and Kojiro. But Henrik had if money on Kojiro, not because he had blind-faith in his subordinate, no, instead because he knew just how strong Sasaki was with a sword. Out of every direct subordinate Henrik had, Kiyohime was the strongest, fastest, oldest and the most devoted.
She had been alive for many centuries, the more a vampire lives, the stronger he/she becomes…..her strength had long surpassed the realm of humanity, if she didn't contain her power then a single punch from her could create a hole in someone's body.
Her skills with Katana and Flintlock mixed with her fire-magic and barrier- magic was already at their limits, but she couldn't breakthrough. She had mastered her abilities; she had achieved full control over her bloodthirst. When compared to her, other than Sasaki, no one else came close to her power.
When compared to her, Sasaki was just a human with humanity and a little boosted physique, all he has is only his sword and his unwavering loyalty towards Henrik. He spent his entire life mastering the [Dao of Sword] and was able to reach a level where even with over a hundred techniques, Henrik would only be able to tie a match against him.
Kiyohime was a vampire with a healthy body. Still, she wasn't an [Original], her body wasn't indestructible, Sasaki's sword could cut through everything, Magic, Barrier, even space though only I bit.
Even so, Kiyohime and Sasaki always tied whenever they sparred against each other.
Henrik was confident, and he knew that no matter what, Sasaki couldn't be beaten in swordplay, but he sure was going to enjoy the incoming battle.
ᒥ....All the best Musashi, I hope you make it out alive from the battle, and if you could, then it would be even better....ᒧ
(Elsewhere)
"There is nothing here, no a living soul…."
"Well, Honda-sama ordered us to patrol the area once though we didn't find anything or anyone, it is assuring news."
"Yeah you are right, let's return…"
"Back to the city guys…!"
As soon as the ranger-squad left the area, the air twisted inwards as a massive army of thousands of soldiers appeared out of thin air.
A silver-white haired woman wearing a black cloak with a big ᒥ M ᒧ printed on her back could be seen standing in front of the soldiers. Her green eyes looked towards the giant castle as a smile appeared on her face.
