Chapter :-113 Awaken My Brothers! (Part-3)

"I know it is hard to believe that a person who had been dead for some many years had suddenly come to life but brother I never truly died….." Henrik turned towards his elder brother Nik who had recovered from Freya's outburst and was looking towards him.

"My situation had been a little peculiar as it was impossible for anyone to check that I was still alive….."

"After I was killed by the wolves, my soul was trapped inside a magical dimension thus even if someone wanted to use communicate with my soul, he wouldn't get a response and would assume that I was at peace."

"Given the circumstances of my death and the fact that I was a normal human till death created the perception of me achieving peace…so no one tried to deep any deeper."

"The spirits had something planned for you all! They weren't going to let you go even after you died. Something big was about to happen which would have surely affected the life of Hope, both you and Elijah were fading away….leaving me with no choice but to hide your souls and put you to sleep…"

"Finn had already died whereas Kol was leaving his life with Davina…..Rebekah and Freya died from old age, to protect their souls from the spirits I did the same I did to you, put them to sleep…."

"My moves alarmed 'them' and they actively started looking for the person who was messing with their plans….fortunately, I had a spell which covered my soul from the spirit's detection….."

"My time was running short, I couldn't hide forever thus I created a spell….[Destiny Travel Spell], which could send a person to another dimension, thus successfully escaping the spirits as they were dimension bound…."

"But to perform the spell, I needed a body which could handle my power….."

"Thus I controlled few individuals to do my bidding and created a body for myself using mother, father, aunt and my own ashes along with Qetsiyah's blood acting as a binding agent…."

"I created a body magically strong enough to endure the power dimension travel without breaking…..unfortunately, as soon as I came to life the [Cloaking spell] stopped working and I was noticed by the spirits..."

"Left with no choice, I had to escape along with you four using the spell that I created, even so, the spirits were still able to put powerful seals over your coffins…..it took me a couple of decades to unseal Freya and it exhausted my magic….all that happened afterwards is already known to you…." Henrik concluded his part of the story while the others digested the newly gained information.

After the new information was digested, Henrik leaned forward and spoke in a serious tone.

"I truly am Henrik Mikaelson, your little brother!…."

Elijah nodded at Henrik's words as he couldn't find any holes within his reasoning and points. Up until this point, Elijah was 100% sure that the person sitting in front of Niklaus was indeed his little brother, Henrik.

But Niklaus still wasn't ready to accept the reality.

"Yes yes, and I am Jason Derulo.…." There was intense uncertainty and severe lack of confidence within Niklaus's voice when he spoke these words.

"Nikl—" Seeing that even after Henrik thoroughly explained everything, Niklaus still refused to believe him, Rebekah was about to burst into anger but Henrik stopped her.

"I see that you still don't believe me, very well..."

*Snap*

Henrik snapped his fingers as the invisible [Force] restraining Niklaus was broken by Henrik's [Force], his sudden move shocked not only Rebekah but also Niklaus who couldn't understand the reason behind freeing him.

"Let me tell you something that only you and I know…..something that no one else other than we both know." Hearing Henrik's confident tone, Niklaus felt unusually nervous as he wondered what he was going to say.

Elijah, Rebekah and Freya were also curious to know about what was it that only Henrik and Niklaus knew.

"Remember the night of the full moon when we snuck into the forest to watch the neighbour transform into wolves….."

(Flashback begins)

"Henrik…"

A young man of height 5'11, with curled dirty blond hair and dark blue-green eyes that contrasts with his pearl-white skin, was standing near a fireplace. He was well-built and possessed a delicate and yet masculine face.

"Yes, brother?…"

A little boy of medium height with long dark brown hair and with dark brown eyes was sitting near the fireplace, he appeared to be between 11-13 years old. He turned towards the older man who shared a resemblance with him.

"Do you want to see something incredible!…" Niklaus answered his younger sibling if he wanted to witness something truly strange and magical.

"Yes, yes…tell me what is it!" The little one excitedly answered his older brother while jumping here and there.

"Today is a full moon, let us go and see men transform into werewolves!….." Said the older sibling with excitement.

"But mother and father warned us about leaving the house on a full moon night…." Said the little one with uncertainty and worry.

"Don't worry, we will be back before anyone realizes that he snuck out…."

"….Ok"

Klaus and Henrik, fascinated by the werewolves, sneaked out of the caves to see them turn on the full moon, which was forbidden by their village's laws.

Both if the brothers walked into the cave and hide behind a boulder as they watched men turning into werewolves.

*Graaa!*

One of the werewolves lost control and went berserk, with his heightened senses he found the Mikaelson siblings hiding behind the stone and jumped towards Henrik.

Due to Klaus being an untriggered Alpha werewolf, the berserk werewolf recognized him as Ansil's son and didn't attack him. Rather the little Henrik was caught in the attack. The wolf mauled him badly.

"Henrik!!!!…."

The Alpha of the Pack was too late and couldn't stop the berserk werewolf from attacking Henrik.

Niklaus had utilized the moment when the Alpha of the Pack tackled the berserk werewolf to the ground and picked up half-dead Henrik before running towards his home at full speed.

"No no no!….brother please hold on! You must not give up! I will take you to mother, she will heal you, yeah just hold on brother!…." Blood flowed out of Henrik's body which now lay tattered in Niklaus's arms.

"I shouldn't have brought you to the caves! It is all my fault! Why did I hav—"

"Brother…." Hearing the weak and feeble voice of his little brother tore Niklaus's heart as he felt like destroying the world.

"Its—"

(Flashback ends)

Before Henrik could finish his words, Niklaus burst into speed and grabbed Henrik by the collar before raising him in the air.

The others tried to stop Niklaus but Henrik's [Force] froze them in their place.

"S-Shut up bastard! Y-You aren't h-him!…" Niklaus had tears in his eyes streaming down his face. The most ruthless of all his siblings, "The Unredeemable One" was trembling from all the emotions running through his body.

His eyes held great pain and guilt, the suffering he was going through was worse than anything he had ever felt in his truly long life.

He desperately denied the reality so to not to drown into his guilt and pain.

Henrik looked at his brother and smiled before competing the words he said to Niklaus before his death.

"Its ok brother…..it wasn't your fault so don't blame yourself for my death. I hope we meet again, I will be waiting on the other side...."

Niklaus let go of Henrik's collar and hugged his little brother….. as if he was afraid that Henrik would disappear the next second. Tears didn't stop as Niklaus closed his eyes and let go of all his emotions, pouring it all out.

"I am so sorry brother!…."

"I am so sorry!…."

Henrik return hugged Niklaus as he patted the back of his older sibling, saying…..

"Its ok brother….. it's okay! We have a second chance at life now, our family is finally complete….."

The other siblings relaxed and watched their brothers making peace and accepting each other as reality.

Elijah thought to himself with a rare smile over his face.

ᒥ....Henrik had always been the one sibling who received love from everyone in the family….ᒧ

ᒥ….Niklaus was Henrik's favourite brother. They both loved each other and Henrik admired Klaus, as his older brother....ᒧ

ᒥ....They went to see the werewolves transform during a full moon, which was fatal - resulted in Henrik's death. Klaus for years blamed himself for this event and was very devastated by the loss of our beloved brother....ᒧ

ᒥ....Henrik and Rebekah were also very close. Together they watched the "fight" between me and Klaus, with a laugh, wondering which one of us would win....ᒧ

ᒥ....Like Niklaus, she was devastated by Henrik's death, but she didn't blame her older brother - on the contrary, she comforted him....ᒧ

ᒥ....Esther loved her youngest son very much probably the most after Niklaus. After his death, she was devastated and to save her other children, she turned us into vampires. The departure of Henrik was, therefore, the direct cause of the event....ᒧ

ᒥ....Klaus even confirmed that Henrik's death actually drove our mother insane....ᒧ

ᒥ....Henrik was afraid of our father but also loved him very much. He probably also felt angry with him because of how he treated his older brother, Niklaus. However, Mikael loved his youngest son very much though he did not show it....ᒧ

ᒥ....For hundreds of years, he blamed Klaus for Henrik's death, which was one of the reasons why the oldest of the Originals hunted his step-son throughout the centuries....ᒧ

Elijah looked around and noticed the smiling faces of his siblings.

ᒥ....But ultimately it looks like things worked out just fine….ᒧ
