1 Chapter 1, Wyvern

For those that did not read the title, I will make this simple. My name is Wyvern, and I am the first of the millions of personas within my bodies head. I am their leader, but not everyone wants it that way...

"Wyvern! Wyver- Ahh!!! *thump*" ahh, the sound of my assistant smacking his face into the door after tripping on his foot always makes me laugh a bit. His name is klutz, he was the second one here, but there were a lot of people after him, so I decided to name everyone after we hit ten thousand individuals to end the confusion of not having names. It was hell before then, so at least we can differentiate from one another.

"What is it? Did pyro come back from the wild continent again?" My assistant reluctantly shook his head and shakily pointed outside. "P- protesters-!" And I immediately stood up. "Another riot? If they hate it so much, they could have left!" I began to fume as I thought of why they might have stayed. "Wyvern, they want you to rotate control of our body to other people..." My assistant said rather calmly, which was rather out of character for him. I grabbed my cloak from a nearby coat rack and muttered, "Let's go, we cannot wait until this turns into another riot."

As we walked outside my office, a crowd of different people all holding signs of protest against me hogging control of our body, to which I scoff at them for even making such a bold proposal. "Citizens of metropolis, calm down a tad and listen!" They all shut up then, my leadership skills only shine around these guys, after all. "You know full well that only one persona can control our body, so why are you complaining? Do you even know how hard it is to move this inefficient biped around without falling flat on its face? Are you confident that you can learn how to control it all day without rest?!" The crowd began to murmur, by the sound of it, my argument was beginning to sway some of them away from wanting to pilot our body, and a few even walked away when they realized that I had a point or that the crowd was not going to riot. So that was nice.

"How about this, there are too many of us as it is, so how about we form a council? Then we can decide unanimously on who can drive the body each night, deal?" The people got exited about this prospect. They never really had a choice about this so this may be for the better.

But... the peaceful banter did not last long.

A freakin bastard of a dragon decided it was a nice idea to swoop in and try to destroy the metropolis for the third time this week, I am not joking, this thing is as stubborn as it is deadly. "Klutz, evacuate everyone to the mana dome, I will kill it." He meekly nodded his head as he signaled everyone to enter the giant bubble around the park that was just across the street from my office.

And so, I began to transform. Everyone could do this, though my abilities are more useful in fights than most others so they always let me fight of the things that attacked our little floating metropolis. I grew bat like wings, became larger but thinner, and my nails turned into massive claws that are at least as long as my hand before my transformation.

I spread my wings wide and took off, leaving the pavement cracked as I jumped into the air. I then outstretched my arm towards the dragon and made a loose fist due to my claws hindering me from curling my fingers into my palm and I smacked the creature square in the jaw. It yelped and lost balance, losing altitude as it tried to catch its balance but I dove after it instead and dug my claws into its long, frail neck. I could hear its scales crack as I squeezed, choking it to death before I slashed at its neck with my free hand, ensuring it was dead by making it chock on its own violet blood.

I carried the body by the neck until I reached a grassy field just outside the metropolis as people began to gather. "Can you guys dismantle this? I need a nap..." I mumbled as I slowly transformed back into my original form and passed out in the soft grass.
