What did you do?

"Lyre?" Rain called, but got no reply.

There was no sign of the merman who was chuckling a few minutes ago.

"Brother Lyre!" Clar shouted, hoping to get a reply from Lyre, but she got none.

The place was quiet, and devoid of signs of the merman.

All around them, tall trees loomed, making the place darker than usual.

"Lyre?" Rain ran towards the spring, only to stop short when he perceived another scent in the air.

The scent was almost like that of Lyre, except for how sharp it was to the nose.

"Lyre!" Rain growled.

"Brother!" Clar ran towards Rain, shouting at the top of her lungs for a brother who wasn't anywhere near them.

Lyre blinked.

His eyes felt so heavy that it took him close to a minute to fully open his eyes. And when he did, he discovered he was in some sort of cage, in the water.

"Where am I?" He tried to rise from the floor of the cage, only to notice he was tied to the floor with his brother's black powers.

"Who's there?" Lyre called out.
