Braiding his hair

"Mother?" Rain gulped.

"What happened?" The mother rushed towards them before she stopped at the sight of not only the black blood on the floor but the pearls which seemed to overrun the room.

"What's all this? What happened?" She stood, frozen on the spot.

"I— We—" Lyre glanced at Rain, for help.

He knew he can't keep his identity from the family, forever. However, this wasn't how he wanted them to find out.

"You will return to your room, and forget everything you have seen," Rain said in a low voice. "Sleep and forget it all. Rest your mind."

His eyes shone white for a moment before they changed back.

"Yeah! To my room! I need to sleep," The mother turned, and left.

She sauntered back to her room like a zombie and plopped down on the bed. The moment her back touched the bed, she slept off, still affected by Rain's commands.

"What did you just do?" Lyre gasped in shock.

He has never seen someone control another as Rain did.
