Becoming human

" I'm certain it's in the human world". An elder spoke as others agreed.

" The human world is huge. Where exactly?". Zelda asked them with anger. They were all smiling, thinking a solution has been found but this, this wasn't a damn solution at all. They were in a much bigger situation now. The elders paused smiling and watched each other , checking to see if any of them had an answer to the princess but as expected, they were all clueless. 

" Uhhhh ! I will just get it myself !" Zelda face palmed herself before inhaling deeply. She closed her eyes in a meditation form , seeking for the guidance of her heart to lead her to the  path of finding it's other half. Light began to draw alphabets as her vision kept a record of it.

" N". Zelda said with a whisper.

" E W". She said again .

"Y" She once again said and continued till it summed up to New York. Her eyes instantly flipped open as she now stared at her elders, expecting them to know the location of this so called New York. 

" New York. I have heard of it before. It's a place in the human town" One elder raised Zelda's hope high but as soon as she heard his complete sentence, she quickly lost hope. He had said nothing meaningful. 

" Any other suggestions ?" The princess asked them as they all shook their head . So this had to be on her again. She had to do it herself again. What was the use of these people if they knew nothing? All they did was enjoy and grow old. 

" You may leave" Zelda ordered them and entered a thinking mode. She really hoped she could find this new York kingdom. 

Time passed quickly as she held a potion inside her hands. It was a mixture to change her from mermaid to human and she had to take it outside the ocean else it wouldn't work. This only meant she had to be out by late midnight else someone might see her. 

" My lady. Your gold have been packed for your trip ". A maid said to her with a bow as she nodded and swam outside her chamber to the surrounded people to her kingdom.

" My dear family. Unfortunately a precious jewel has been taken by nature from our kingdom and I have to retrieve it back. The council of elders will be in control in my absence . I would be back soon, I promise. Take care of yourselves" Zelda spoke from her heart as the people erupted into cheers. 

She swam to the shore as the maids followed behind her .

" Let me have it. You may go" Zelda took the golds and placed it on the sand before climbing out from the water . Her crystal blue tail was uncomfortable by it but she had no choice. Using one hand to raise the potion, she opened her mouth and closed her eyes deeply as she gently poured the potion. It was bitter than she expected . It wasn't just bitter, it was disgustingly bitter. Zelda squeezed her face while standing up. She opened her eyes to clearly show her annoyed face , not realizing that something was different about herself.
