The deaf ear

At his work place, Sam receives a case of robbery which involves some political characters. He is warned by his boss to be careful with such a case as power outdoes everything and politicians are marauding lions. Sam doesn't care about what his boss tells him. He believes nobody should be above the law.

On one Sunday morning he wakes up at 4am and goes for jogging. When he returns he finds the door of his house open. He is curious to learn who may be in his house. Can it be his girlfriend? But could she come without phoning him?

He crawls to the window to learn who is in but nobody is found inside. 'I may have left the door open,' he thinks. He goes in take shower and leave for church.
