The Menagerie Anthology

This series is a collection of unrelated and different stories I have written. Although the series will include a wide range of genres and settings, here is a list of some stories included in this anthology: (Please note I am uploading these stories steadily, so if one is listed, but hasn’t been released yet please be patient. Also, I apologize for the over the top descriptions. I couldn’t help myself!) - Akeldama: On a distant planet with the heat of the suns hitting their backs, two men shall determine who will be victorious. Who do you place your bet on? The long ranged and experienced warrior or the strength empowered and feisty fighter? - He Who Stands Still: Becoming thirteen isn’t easy and explaining how terrible it is to a twelve year old isn’t a simple task either. She just doesn’t understand how this little boy cannot grasp the tragedy of aging. However, this girl is in for a surprise, as he may know more than she thinks, way more, actually. - He’s The Goal: Lorelei and Brum have been best friends since both of them could talk. Their relationship has been through thick and thin. At the beginning of the school year, Brum decided to branch out of his comfort zone and join the soccer team. Before he even realizes what is happening, his heart falls for the team captain, Reiner. Brum couldn’t be happier, however to Lorelei there’s just something not quite right about the charismatic captain. - I Didn’t Know Her: He was milling through his daily routine. So was she. The bus stop was the same, with it’s tarnished lettering and weathered bench. The sidewalk was the same, lined with crepe myrtle trees and littered with weeds cracking through the concrete. Even the honking horns of traffic jams and the nearby ring of a telephone was no different. However, he would die today, and so would she. The abnormality is not their deaths, but the interaction between two strangers who realized together their time was coming to an end.
