15 British Empire 5

Goren turned around and looked through the window, a lot ravaged in his mind concerning what nature had revealed to him, souls will be lost, kingdoms shall be turned against eachother.

Evil shall encroach four kingdoms, and a game full of tricks shall be played on the rulers of this kingdoms, so as to make them have proclivity for power and authority, for it is said that power is a trap to those fantasized by it, the proprietor, intends to achieve this through the power of necromancy, she has the knowledge that whoever fantasizes power would fall into her snares.

Goren explained all of these in detail to Grendel and Jill, all that he told the both of them, had something to do with the journey to the golden city and the mysterious map that shows the way to the golden city, which appeared mysteriously after the king had a strange dream, in the kings dream, he was told by a beldame, who claimed to be his mother, that power and wealth lays in the golden city, Goren told them the beldame in the kings dream wasn't the kings mother but a horrific witch under the confratanity of Aariyeh the necromancer.

"Just as a witch has visited your king in his dream, there are other witches visiting other kings in different empires, stirring up chaos on Earth." Said Goren.

It all made sense to Jill and grendel what was about to unfold, it brought in a spark of inspiration in them, the journey to the golden city is a trap, and the king's strange dream was caused by dark sorcerey, which could have come from a witch under a coven propertriated by a necromancer,

This was proved given the ability of the witches to come as a deceased relation to kings, only a necromancer possesses such a power in the world of sorcery.

"We must tell the king about this." Grendel said, his feet had began fidgeting, he had gone into a hurry to expound what he learnt to the king.

Grendel's loyalty to Britian was inspired by the love for his country, he is so steadfast in his duties and devotion to Britain for he is an original possessing a partrial right in England, all those with this rights are know to have strong devotions to Britian.

Goren caught that impression, that Grendel had a crude mindset, he believed strongly in british cultural beliefs, and ancestral beliefs.

"No, you shall not do so." Goren calmed his urgent feet.

"But why, I need to let it be known to the king." Grendel complained.

"It wouldn't yeild anything positive if you do that. Said Goren

Your king has already lost his mind, he will have you killed the moment you make that know to him." Goren added.

"That's defamation, king Charles swore on his ordination to serve England in humility." Grendel strained, he showed home much he believed in English rites, unlike those in power, the mediocre put much signifance in cultural rites, those in power never put much interest in it in Britian, they view it as a mere rite enacted by the council and legislates, but they wouldn't mind engaging in the rites for it could proved to mass, they place importance in british rites.

"No politician is sincere, they always have a flaw that is shrouded in secrecy and artifice."

Goren said.

"So what do you want us to do, let Britian pour away their lives for nothing."

"Let them go, for I shall go with them. Goren said.

It shocked grendel to hear that, what does thou will for Britian, Grendel said in his mind,

It's high time I end this necromantical chaos." Goren said.

"What are you even talking about?." Grendel squeaked, desperation aroused by despair flushed in him, he seek to prevent the loss of lives but Goren kept going contrary with reasons he didn't understand.

"I am Aariyeh's doom." Goren said.

"Aariyeh the necromancer?, Grendel made a confused face.

I have read about her in the legends, she was once a beautiful soul that emerged from mulignar Ireland,

Until vengeance made darkness gloom in her heart, she turned evil.'' Grendel explained, with full knowledge about who Goren talked about, Aariyeh the necromancer.

"I need to be conveyed to the Amazon's, there I shall face my destiny." Goren said.

"What is your destiny.?" Grendel asked.

"I shall destroy Aariyeh.

And if that is not done, the necromantical rite will continue and chaos will reign in every part of earth." Goren explained. They have to embark on the journey.

Goren's destiny is to destroy Aariyeh the great necromancer, proprietor of all chaos and malevolence on Earth,

For years Goren couldn't find a way he could locate himself to the amazons, for he had nothing like a ship to convey him over the oceans to the Amazons where Aariyeh resides, when he heard Britian has decided to find the golden city, he knew it would be a chance for him to be finally conveyed over the oceans to the amazons to find Aariyeh.

Grendel made overt gestures that showed he hasn't fully agreed to goren's plans to not tell the king the journey is a trap, Goren found a glimpse of that in his gestures and he scoffed, for grendel was proving to be a stumbling block towards his plans, Goren felt a little annoyed associated with telling Grendel his plans and revealing the truth about the journey to him, he felt he wouldn't object in any way.

Goren approached grendel, he caught his face in his hand and held it tight almost squishing his mouth.

"Son what if I tell you,

keeping this a secret would save nations from crumbling, including your beloved Britain."

Goren looked in his eyes.

"I do not care about any other kingdom but Britain.

They can all go to hell for all I care."

He said, putting on a mean face as prove he meant what he said, a real character of a Briton.

"Then do it for Britian only." Goren said, he viewed Grendel as a heretic, he thought bringing in his beloved nation would change his mind.

Grendel dithered, not knowing what to say, his minds has been torn apart, should the journey be stopped and save a few life, or should the journey be embarked on, and have Goren defeat the necromancer which will save many lives years to come.

Grendel, after having a medley of thoughts flurry in his mind, agreed to keep the truth about the journey a secret, he also vowed to help Goren sneak into the boat, by carrying him in a big sack filled with potatoes.

But how would goren fit in the sack with potatoes clading him and how can Grendel be able to lift a human body in a sack of potatoes, a sack of potatoes alone cannot be lifted by one man, goren had to modify himself into a less weightful creature using enchantments, a bandicoot rat. they are herbivores, he wouldn't have cause to bite the potatoes in the sack.
