2 The Mechanic System

When Qiao Yang heard this, he became stiff. Everything became silent as if time had suddenly stopped.

After few seconds, Qiao Yang woke up and his face became red due to excitement.

'I want to thank whoever gave this to me!!'

But suddenly he stopped.

'Wait did it say choosing appropriate system for me...Does that mean there are other people with systems?'

Qiao Yang was confused. Wasn't he only have the system in the place as he was the protagonist.

After 1 second, he got his answer.

[Host is incorrect. The host has been transmigrated to a cultivation world where some people have other systems.]

Qiao Yang's excitement faded and he put a serious but dejected face. He thought about this carefully.

He then asked mysterious system in his head.

'So could you tell me more about yourself and the world where you have bought me'

The system replied: [I am the 'Mechanic System'. I am from an extreme future where mankind has already established a colony made up of many different universes. I was built using a lot of resources so I naturally was the most advanced system ever built. But due to making establishing vast colonies, other races started getting greedy for the number of resources humans had. So they started attacking humans. Demons, elves, dark elves, dragons, and many other races started attacking. Although humans were weak, they had mechs, guns, and advanced technology. So the races were defeated but only by a small margin. But the other races would not give up easily. So they joined their hands and attacked humans once more.]

The system stopped here. Although it had a metallic voice, there was a hint of sadness along with it.

Qiao Yang knew what happened next but still continued listening to the system.

The system continued: [Mankind had big losses in the first war and against the combined forces, humans had no chance. The humans were getting destroyed bit by bit. The humans knew what was going to happen to them so they placed anti-matter bombs all around the colony and blasted them so the races could not get their hands on the humans and the resources. Before the destruction of humans, my creators all told me to find a suitable host and make him strong. After I made the host strong, they asked me to ask the host to take revenge for mankind. That's when they blasted me in outer space and detonated the bombs.]

The system became silent. Even though Qiao Yang only heard about it, he flared up.

Greedy races!! When he becomes the strongest, he will destroy them.

Qiao Yang, after a few minutes of silence, asked the system about where he was.

The system replied: [Host is currently in the Lower Heavenly World. The world consists of cultivators where the law of the jungle takes place. The energy here is called Qi. The Qi nourishes the body and makes it stronger. The strong are respected whereas the weak are bullied. The cultivation stages are - Qi Gathering Realm, Qi Foundation Realm, Elemental Realm, Core Realm, Tribulation Realm, Life or Death Realm, Dao Realm, Nirvana Realm, Transcending Realm. There are more but the host will need to collect the information on his own. Each realm has 12 levels. (1 - 3) = Initial, (4 - 8) = Intermediate and (9 - 12) = Advance. As the host has the mechanic system, he can build robots and war machines depending on the materials he has. The host can gain experience, or XP for short, upon killing living beings. The host has to supply the materials and the system will make the things. The system hopes that host will become powerful and help take revenge for humans.]

Qiao Yang became excited about it. He started daydreaming about the day he ruled the multiverse. He shook his head and quit the daydream. Qiao Yang had one more thing to ask.

Qiao Yang told the system to show his stats.
