387 Duties of a Priestess

Tuya found her way down into the main part of the little city in this oasis. Some of them called it a city or town, but it was nothing like the modern city those out in the world would think of. Most of it was buildings or homes made of natural material or building into the ground and bedrock. They needed to keep the forest growing and as undamaged as possible. Their oasis was a finite island really. 

Because of this, they built a lot of things into the cliff face below the temple. A lot of pathways were structured along the large jutting rock area and then they were built around the natural spring lake that fed the oasis. Their only source of water, and you better believe they had very hard rules about what you could or could not do with the water.
